Young_agronomist Start of a new week! It's growing fast, I started feeding with nutrients starting at 0.2 mg per 1 L to see how it absorbs. This week we'll start LST training to open up light to the new shoots!

Check out my LST, did I do everything right?

Yes, keep growing it horizontal till it starts to stretch for flowering. Do not go cutting off leaves. It's a auto and it needs them to produce energy at the moment. If you cut any off cut the ones on top side of bend so light gets to all of the center good. Stimulating more growth. Can lollipop the plant later as it stretches up. Not yet. I been growing auto's continously for 3 years. They grow best in coco or dwc. Soil is generally too heavy for roots to expand enough, and absorb enough nutrients to do a lot. Looking good at this point. Enjoy the grow.

Hi 👋 Should I cut off the big leaves from the seedling to let more light reach the smaller shoots?

Just remember.......... Less leaves = less energy being made = less growth. Leave the leaves would be my advice, if the plant would not need them, it would not grow them in the first place! Cutting off perfectly healthy, green, energy producing leaves and forcing the plant to grow new leaves to replace the ones it lost, seems rather counter productive to me....and no doubt, to the plant as well! Or to put it another way......... Maximum amount of leaves = maximum amount of energy production = maximum amount of growth.

Hey everyone 👋 When should I remove the wire from the plant? Or should I keep bending it?

Keep bending, Your trying to keep an even canopy, Add/Remove wires as needed to keep it all even across the top. The plant will consistently be fighting you to bend up so you wont be removing many if any at all. Just make sure you don't strangle a branch by creating a noose as it will slowly grow in girth. You keep this up the whole grow. After you hit mid flower she will slow down to almost a stand still and be concentrating on buds, so you wont be bending so much. Happy Growing

Young_agronomist Thanks to successful LST, the plant produced more shoots (I counted 12 young shoots) and continues to grow actively 🙂 It started giving 80% of the maximum nutrients. The plant feels good. We're waiting!

Hey friends 👋 Can you tell by looking at the main cola photo if it's flowering?

Organomananswered grow question 4y ago
No, not yet. Once flowering begins, many white hairs (pistils) will appear (first) at the junction of the main stem and the branches, followed by their appearance at the terminal ends of the branches. I can not see any pistils in your photos as yet.

Young_agronomist The start of week five, the plant is actively growing and feels great. I accidentally tore a couple of leaves, but there was no stress. It seems like this is the last week of veg, so I need to stretch it out and pack on some mass ) On day 36, I gave flowering nutrients since I noticed the characteristic signs. Young_agronomist After adding 1ml of cal-mag, the leaf problems went away, and the new growth looks good. Over the last week, it has stretched nicely, and now I think it will stop growing and start actively putting on weight in the buds.
