Hello, my growing friend! I'm downloading new photos and day comments every new day, so go back and see full last week diary right now! --------------- New week starts. 🌞12.12.2022 My girls looks healthier then ever after I flushed them both with 'GHE Clean' solution and gave them 75% of nutrient's 'Pre flowering' doze. I hope this trend will last till the very end of this run. Flowering in progress! I sprayed them with 'SeaWeed' as usual and that's all for today's treat. 🌞13.12.2022 Today I watered my babies with 75% of 'GHE' nutrients plus 'Advanced PK' in a half of recommended doze. Their leaves looking downwards after the lights was ON and i think it's because of poore watering cycle or it's overheating. I increased lamp to plant distance to 40cm. I'll try to water them more often from now. I sprayed them with 'GHE Protect' solution to stimulate immune system and it's a last time i using this nutrient. Upd: 10hrs after watering they looks fantastic. It was water deficit. Flowers developing and smell increased. 🌞14.12.2022 I think my ladies like PK complex i gave them yesturday. Plus 2cm per 24hrs. More stigmas. Healthier look. Ph don't want to go down, it stays ~7 ignoring sulfur I putted in substrate two waterings ago. 'SeaWeed' spraying today and nothing more. 🌞15.12.2022 +1cm today. I changed girls diet. Now they'll take 'GHE SeaWeed' with water directly. Plus 'Advanced PK' in a 80% of recommended dose. Also I stopped giving them 'GHE Mineral Magic' and 'GHE Diamond Nectar'. They aren't necessery when flowering in progress. All other nutrients ('GHE Flora TriPart', 'GHE O.G.Bloom') - goes in amount of 75% from recommended doze. I don't want to overfeed my babies. Also, EC of solution is ~1.2 as well. PPM is 830. I think this are max numbers to reach. They were good sprayed with 'GHE Protect' once more. I'll spray them with pure water from now. Upd: Before watering all leaves are bent down (I watering my plants every 48hrs) and they are rising up in a couple hours after the procedure. I need to water them more often, but I have my job wich cause me to hold some steady watering periods. I'll wait some time more and then will shorten watering time to once per day graphic. 🌞16.12.2022 And again +1cm per 24hrs. It's nothing planned for today, only clean water spraing. Watering stays for tomorrow. I turned ON my main ventilation with two charcoal filters. There is no signs of a smell now, but it's too noisy. It's like a car engine running near my bed all the time. Well, I need to sacrifice something to get good results... I love how my BPPa#2 looks. It's big and bushy. Now You can clearly see it's future bud brunches and I'm really satisfied with it growth. #1 is much smaller and it forming not so much yields. There are signs of overfeeding on it's leaves and that's why it goes like this. I think #1 was too small when i started feed them bouth in a 'pre flowering' mode. #2 swallowed it, but #1 couldn't. I think she'll made it, with slightly smaller size, but as delicious as #2 will be. 🌞17.12.2022 I fed my girls with a seme mixture without 'G.H.Bloom' since it is bloom activator. It was really hard, because I got ill yesturday and have 38° temperature. But feeding is feeding. And clean water spraying, of course. Upd: +4cm per 36hrs (I forgot to do mesurments in the morning). 🌞18.12.2022 Nothing special today, only fresh water spraing. +1cm per 12hrs (almost 2cm) My BPPa#1 and #2 looks different. #2 already has violet colour in its stigmas nodes. #1 all white and it has smaller hight (20cm, and #2 has 28cm). It looks like different strain. I don't think it is so, but interested, why. ------------------------ Week ends.

From the every beginning my ph monitors (soil sensors) are showing ~ph7. I drained it with ph 5.2 solution for two times already, but I still have ~ph6.8 - 7 in both of my pots. Will it hurt my sweet babies? How to make soil ph lower without damage them? Please help me.

The buffered coco is bs. Soon as water hits it. It will rise in pH. The coco is what is holding your pH up likely. You can't treat it like coco with the soil in substrate. All you can do is do what you are with lower pH water. Once you start adding nutrients in a week or two it should start bringing the pH down. Can also switch to 1 of three lights on in vegging vs 2. Light requirements are very low in vegging. Remember to get run off when you start adding nutrients. To avoid salt build up in soil from plant foods. Also good to test this run off for pH and ppm or ec. A water pH tester is needed. Avoid cheap yellow ph tester ones. Will have to monitor it closely. So far looking good

Hi, guys. I have one more question today: - My box has three ventilators. One is working in the upper air channel all the time to bring out hot air. Other two staring on my plants. Should I use all three of them? Or one is enough till my babies will grow thick to pervent mould?

Hey Growmie, I would say go ahead and use all three, not only will it help prevent mold and mildew but it should bring in enough air to help strengthen the main stalk.

Hi, growers! I want to know, why one of my ladies is bigger, then the other (Germination difference was 8hrs only). Maybe it's because bad working ventilator? One of my two vents was stopping all the time, Today I changed It to the new one.

Seeds do not have identical genes, they are unique individual organic beings. All seeds grow differently, even though they come from the same parent. There is no guarantee that 2 seeds from the same packet came from the same plant either. Breeders may grow hundreds of seed plants to provide enough seeds for a year or more supply in a global market. There is no guarantee that even the pollen that was used for seed breeding came from only one male plant either. Differences in growth rates have nothing to do with ventilation or 8 hours in sprouting time, it is just that seeds DO NOT have identical genes and grow to their own individual schedule........only clones have identical genes. If you learned biology properly, you would understand the principles of "genetic re-combination".........the main reason for differences in seeds.

So, it is the question: when? I wanted to train them few times already, but scarring to broke yong trunks always stops me. Maybe I should wait more time to them produce heavy crone? What do You think about it?

Hey Growmie, There isn’t an exact age or size to start LST on autos, in theory, you can start as soon as the first true leaves grow, most recommend starting training as soon as your plant can reach the edge of the pot, around 10-15cm or 4 - 6 inches. So technically you can start now, just be gentle and the young plant will be fine.

Siema GROWER, I would not worry so much on the run of pH because you are growing in 60% Soil 25% Coco Coir 15% Perlite so as the water going through it will change the PH of water so if the pH is in the range of 6-7ph it should be fine but watch on the EC because that will indicate if you have nuts build up

Hello, mates! I'm interested why all new brunches on my yong auto flowers have triple fingered leaves? When I grew regular plants it wasn't like this. All first pairs of leaves had 5-7 of segments. It's an issue, or all auto strains act like this? Please tall me.

No problem.. I’m not here for points - I’m here to displace shitty answers. If you’re a photo guy - stick with it. Aside from a SELECT few breeders doing autos right - most just end up mids - and that’s IF you grow them out perfectly.. Just peruse the auto diaries on here. Judge for yourself

My 5th vegetation week starts. How do you think, should I delite large leaves living only small one? Or it's not necessary cos they are located in a bottom and don't cower yong leaves?

No please do not defoliate it would be a waste. There are only 2 reasons to use defoliation. The first reason is that leaves are stacked on eachtoher. When this happens than they are blocking the airflow and moist can not escape from the bottom of the leaves causing mold or fungal. The second reason is that large leaves on the top of the plant block a huge amount of light for the rest of the plant. These are the only 2 reasons to use defoliation. Any other reason is just damaging the plant and decrease yields.

What kind of pathology is it? It's much more brown tips on the older leaves and on that plant wich I tried to flush to down soil ph. Other plant looks better but already has a few of them too. Is that overfeeding?

You've got a couple of problems I can see and one is certainly a bit of overfeeding... I'd get your EC down to 1.2 at the most... But your pH is way too high here as well... that's preventing good absorbtion of potassium ... while the tips MAY indicate nute burn, if the burning/yellowing continues on up the edge of those leaves, you're looking at a potassium deficiency... You can easily add a small dose of PK boost to your nutes in the event that's what this turns into.... but get your EC down... at their age, 1.0-1.2 would be the ideal EC range... and get the pH down to 6.0-6.2... Good luck!

I can't low my ph no metter what I do. Ewery time I feed my plants I make ph6 solution, but ph sensors still showing ph7. It's already ~10 waterings and no result. I tried to flush one of my pots (puted it in a bucket with ph5.8 water 3 times for 5 minutes) and still nothing.

Your mix sulphur into the topsoil and water it in, its that easy. a little goes a long way don't want to over do it. Can be found at most garden supply stores. if you have 4 meters all saying the same thing, then they are prob right, I don't know the models you use or brands so can't comment further on it. The one I use does require calibration quite a bit and I have solutions that help me get it back into range. a 4.01 a 7.01 and a storage solution. I think the advice of not worrying to much on PH is good. my first couple of grows I did not use a PH pen at all. Next grow can focus on the composure of your medium for what works best for you. Like grannie said, anytime you tag someone in the questions part of the website it does not notify the user. there is an inbox function on the site, its in the lower right hand corner, green/white paper airplane button, you can reach out there to other users. Good Luck!

Today after lights turned on I saw all leaves of my plants looking down. I watered them one time in two days (day watering/day resting), the temperature wasn't too high (27Β°c max) but there was colder this night (near 17Β°). Also, I added sulfur 2 days ago to low my ph.

Check this link for all the information about watering when growing inside coco coir. There are 5 articles about it that explain everything and really helped me starting to understand how to water and how measure and reading the values. btw... I just did a bit of research on using sulfur and came up with an article that makes things pretty clear (at least to me)... it says, in part: "Elemental sulfur and aluminum sulfate are the most common amendments used to decrease the soil pH. Elemental sulfur is the safest option to decrease soil pH; it is relatively inexpensive and available via local agriculture suppliers and garden centers. Unfortunately, it is slow to react. Elemental sulfur must go through two processes, a biological process and a chemical process, before soil pH is decreased. This often takes 3 to 6 months of warm soil temperatures when soil biology is active. Aluminum sulfate reacts in the soil very quickly as it must only undergo a chemical process. The change in pH happens within days or weeks. However, aluminum sulfate is not an ideal amendment because requires more material than elemental sulfur to reduce the soil pH and aluminum is toxic to plants."
