Planned on growing two strains, but had issues with the seeds from the other strain, so the start of this grow was a bit of a mess. Decided to add a fourth Frozen Custard, 7-10 days after the others were germinated, so that's why one looks so much behind the others. I was having issues with them drying out too quickly so I put them in the 10 gallon pots a little earlier than I usually do. The seem to be doing much better now so they should be back on track soon.
The plants are growing pretty vigorously, now, so I topped the 3 larger plants. Each plant got top dressed with fertilizer and was given some recharge.
Topped the three larger plants again, topped the smaller plant for the first time, and pinned the limbs down. Plant #3 is the ugly duckling, and has some weird structure, so I'm hoping she grows out of that. Each plant got top dressed with fertilizer and was given some recharge.
Saw lots of nice growth this week, especially with plants 1 & 2. Plant #3 continues to grow weird...the limbs just want to grow straight up so she's been a pain to work with. Plant #4 is doing well, but the limbs seem much less bendy then the others, and I snapped a limb while pinning them down the other day. They will be flipped to flower next week so they got some bloom fertilizer and some recharge.
Yesterday, all plants got some recharged, were top dressed with Roots Organics Uprising Foundation, and had most of their large leaves removed when I lollipopped them. Lights are getting flipped to flower schedule today.
All 4 plants are doing well and are all growing at a steady rate. Each plant got top dressed with Roots Organics Foundation and Bloom yesterday along with a little recharge
Plants are doing well and plant #3 is still growing strangely...just a poor looking phenotype that I'm keeping going for the hell of it. All plants got their lower growth removed and most of the inner facing leaves removed to improve air flow. They also got top dressed with Roots Organics Foundation and Bloom and a light dose of recharge.
Plants 1, 2, and 4 look great but plant 3 seems to just be a horrible pheno. It's a runt, has poor structure, and even the fan leaves seem to be mutated. Plants 1 and 4 are getting pretty tall so I will likely super crop them this week if they continue stretching.
All the plants, except #3, are looking very nice. Number 3 is pretty pathetic but I'm keeping her going just to keep from having to look at empty space in the tent :)
The plants are looking good, but one is calling for nitrogen and another is getting red stems, so I'm thinking I need to do a better job at making sure my soil is in good shape going into the next grow. The flowers look great on all of the plants except the runt. Plants got fertilized with foundation and bloom and I added so grow fertilizer to the pot of plant #2 hoping it will bump of the nitrogen a bit for that plant.
The flowering is coming along nicely and the runt with the small buds is actually starting to fatten up so at least those flowers won't be a total loss. Each plant got top dressed with Foundation and Bloom and then each got 1L of Recharge
The flowers are swelling nicely and the smell is unbelievably strong. I haven't had such strong smelling plants in awhile. The breeder's estimated harvest date is in about 2.5 weeks, which seems about right, based on how the plants look.
Another great week for these plants. The smell on them is amazing...I can't pinpoint the individual scents, yet, but it's very gassy. The buds are swelling very nicely on all of the plants and I'm really impressed with how much the runt (Plant #3) has improved. It has developed long packed colas and I honestly didn't think it would come even close to where it is now. Sometimes it's worth letting those mutated runts just do their thing.
The fade is coming in strong so I think these will be ready to harvest no later than next weekend. The buds are solid as a rock on all 4 plants and they smell amazing. I did not bother with top dressing or recharge this week since they are slowing down.
These plants finished right in line with the breeder estimate. Super sticky and dense flowers with very strong smell. I stripped the plants of all fan leaves and hung them whole to get a nice slow dry.
