Third times the charm right?
This is my third attempt at a Grow Diary. I’m going to really really try to complete this one. My previous diaries, the grows were extremely successful. My Mango Smile from Mephisto yielded 7oz dry weight. It’s not failure that’s derailing me, life is just HECTIC.
So for this grow, I expect it to be the best yet. We have some Exotic Genetix gear from the Runtz Reloaded drop, Gary Poppins & Cherry Bang Bang.
Details:
• Medium: Coco/Perlite (Nectar From The Gods#2)
• Nutrients:
— General Hydroponics Trio
— Botanicare Cal Mag Plus
— General Hydroponics PH Up & PH Down
— SLF-100 (periodically)
Germination:
Placed beans into Crystal Geyser spring water for 48 hours. Both cracked after about 12 hours. Was super busy so couldn’t set up tent until 48hrs after I had placed them. Didn’t see much improvement after about 20hrs in water.
Purgatory (Germ - Day 1):
After 48hrs of soaking in spring water, beans were placed into 3gal fabric pots of Nectar For The Gods #2 Coco/Perlite. Spray misted with RO water with 5ml/gal of cal mag twice a day.
11/7/2022 - Official Day 1
• Only spray misting base with RO water w/ Cal Mag PH’d to 6.0 twice a day.
11/10/2022
• Gary Poppins looks to be stretching so I lowered light and raised intensity from 20% to 25%. Roots also seem to not have rooted strongly because plant floats when watered.
11/11/2022
• Not much growth so I started to feed nutrients. 1.8ml/gal of each Micro, Gro, and Bloom. Lowering PH to around 5.8.
11/15/2022
• Still keeping the same feed schedule. Fertilizing 1 time a day about 1cup at base.
11/18/2022
• Started to see burn on CBB tip. Feeding only fresh PH’d water to hydrate dried salts in coco. Will start to incorporate fresh PH’d water between feedings when they look to be hungry.
*** At this point, I have yet to water until runoff. I just didn’t want to waste water where there are not roots. ***
I have been keeping a low feed but according to the runoff ECs, im going to try to bump up nutes. First time doing photos, so im very cautious of causing herming. I topped GP. It’s looking like I might top CBB later this week. Im looking for 8 main colas on both, while also trying to maintain similar height. GP looks taller so it probably get topped and LST. CBB may only get topped.

Flipping to flower. Added automatic watering to water 3 times with lights on. Will dial in amount of runoff.
Starting feed around 1.7-1.9ec. Will attempt to increase 0.2ec a week.
