Transplanted into final 5 gallon pot. Doing well but she is a bit squat and bushy. I hope she isn’t too different than the other three since I am going to try the scrog.
I had to back off the nutes this week because my EC was way too high at runoff. I did a full flush, now I am feeding a week solution and will increase slowly. I am watering everyday to runoff and PHing the water. PH has been fine even though the EC has been high.
This plant is really short and compact. It seems to want to get bushier, not taller. I elevated it on a plastic bin to get it on the same level as the other plants in the tent and have been doing a lot of defoliation to keep the air flow in a good range. She is tough to LST because she is so squat but I am trying.
I flipped the girls to flower this past Saturday and changed back to Floraflex nutrients. The New Millenimum line up was not performing like FF did on my last grow so I bailed. Still battling aphids, I have been spraying Dr. Zhymes but if it doesn’t get rid of the problem in another week, I will have to get a fogger. Over all, everyone looks good. This one and the Star Pupil are still the runts of the tent with a very compact leaf structure. Not sure how they are going to perform, I will know more in another two weeks .
Plants are still fighting aphids this week. I am applying Dr. Zhymes at full strength now every day making sure I get the underside of the leaves. A few of the plants are showing signs of aphid damage like curling leaves and black tips. I had to do a full flush last week as well because my EC crept up too high. I will be decreasing the nutes a bit this week to keep the levels at the correct EC. This plant is also not doing very well. I think the genetics of these Mass Medical plants is lacking…they are both tiny plants with a very weird, compact leaf structure and they just are not growing. They have had the same treatment as the others in the tent and they continue to under-perform. I will not be running this breeders genetics again.
Plants have actually started to bounce back this week. I was about to chuck this one and two others but they rallied a bit so they live to see another week. No evidence of aphids but I am coming up on the 10 day incubation period so I will be spraying them again tonight as a preventative. This plant looks low on nitrogen so I am going to add some veg nutes to todays feeding.
This plant is doing better but It is not going to be a good producer. the aphids and spray just really took a toll and these genetics are just not on point. I am going to continue caring for it because I want to try this strain but I am not expecting a very good yield. I started the Terpinator and molasses this week as well. This is the one plant the aphids are still present on….not many but I am still finding a few hiding on this plants leaves.
This plant is still harboring a few aphids…mostly babies but I am vigilant! I check the leaves everyday and remove any that I see and spray with Lost Coast a couple times a week. This plant is really stretching this week and looks better than it it did. She has been a lighter shade of green the whole grow, I am going to give her a little extra nitrogen to see if she will darken a bit.
She is starting to show some amber and is also foxtailing a bit I think. Still a little pale but not worrying about it at this point. Ready to chop soon.
