Next flower week will be 10 days from today so that I’m back on a Saturday start days for journals.
I’m concerned about space in my small 2x4 tent, so I’m switching to flower 3 days early. I do not own a par meter, but I used my lux meter to increase light from 53,000 lux to 72,000 lux.
Day shortened from 19 hours to 12 hours.
Checked reservoir water and it’s full. I intend to raise the Micro to 8 ml and Bloom to 16ml per gallon over next 2 feedings. No signs of toxicity. So far this Lucas Formula has been a very simple and cost-effective strategy for GH Flora nutrients. Let’s see how it does in flower mode.
Due to the high ppm of my tap water, I’ve switched to Micro for Hard Water…..which lowers ppm by removing calcium from the mix.
This Godfather OG has been an incredible training opportunity for me. She was the easiest of the three plants to practice Quadlining on and had the best results so far. She taught me the potential if you start training early,
Feeding Schedule
In summary, I used Lucas recipe in FFOF soil in 5 gallon containers. Always 2:1 ratio of GH Flora Bloom to Flora Micro.
Early Veg. 2 Micro / 4 Bloom
Late Veg. 5 Micro / 10 Bloom increased to 7 Micro / 14 Bloom
Flower 8 Micro / 16 Bloom
Notes:
Included 2ml/g of CalMag, Micro for Hardwater, humic acid, Seaweed Extract in veg, Silica in veg and stretch, homemade Terpinator in flower.
Saturday: after experimenting with the Photone app on multiple Apple devices, I discovered that the IPad mini camera seems to be the most accurate light measurement device. (Tested iPhone 6 and XR too). Using DLI (Daily Light Integral) now to dim LEDs and set targets. I was running much higher DLI before getting the app and following their advice. So far I’m impressed with the app (Pro version with Cannabis guide and white LED lighting).
Monday: added 1.5ml of Micro and 3 ml of CalMag to one gallon reservoir under the Godfather OG. Hungry plant needs more nitrogen during flower stretch.
Tuesday: replenished reservoir which was half empty. Added 2ml of micro to reservoir. Still looks hungry for nitrogen.
Wednesday: filled reservoir. Added 2.5ml of liquid Koolbloom. Lowered ph from 7.1 to 6.5 in reservoir. She’s been asking for more nitrogen.
Thursday: emptied, cleaned and filled reservoirs with fresh nutes.
Friday: filled reservoirs which were 60-70% empty after one night. They’re thirsty. Removed landscape stakes and twist tie holding limbs down. Removed a few leaves….not many. I will defoliate in week 3 of flower.
Love the training 💪 I normally do a standard manifold but I'm learning how to do these quads. Take a look at mine if you would, I'd love any advice you may have
@Cyrusdavirus, I’ll head over and take a look, but this is my first time following a Quadlining tutorial. It’s definitely not rocket science, but it’s a nice simple process that’s easy to follow so far. I may not be much help.
@@T_Dub, I think I only have two going in there, the Silver Widow and Amnesia fast the rest are standard manifolds
Merry Christmas to you and the family 🤶🎅🎄
@Cyrusdavirus, I hope you’re right Cyrus. She’s a bushy one….keeping me on my toes. I am really enjoying this Quadline training technique….how is yours coming? Any specific diary with quadline going?
Merry Christmas Eve to you Cyrus!
