I used a bounty paper towel inside of a 6x4 glass storage container cut to match size. Sprayed distilled water generously over, then gently placed seeds evenly apart from each other. Placed a second paper towel and sprayed again with distilled water. Sprayed inside lid and closed for 48 hours prior to opening. Left raised above ground floor on cardboard box directly in front of heat intake duct. Temp and humidity were around 75-80F and 60-70%humidity. after a successful beginning, I then planted each seed using latex gloves into 4 different pots ; 1-5gallon happy frog only, 1- 5gallon pot happy frog with clay pebbles, 1-3 gallon pot happy frog only and 1-3gallon happy frog and clay pebbles. I covered each seed with a cut up 2litre clear soda bottle with small holes poked on the tops. I sprayed down the soil and the plastic containers. I left them covered until I noticed the cotyledon leaves then I removed the plastic covers, increased circulating fan speed and added a bag of exhale co2. Watered daily 2-3 times by misting with spray. (Distilled water in humidifier and used in feeding)

It’s really difficult trying to figure out the watering at this point. Besides that and the lighting everything else seems to be easier to control due to the technology. The human nature aspect and learning about my medicine and how the plants start to develop more growth and require different needs and attention in each stage is fascinating. It’s my first time and trying to mash up all the information I read online. Well anyways to everyone reading and doing their thing, thanks for all the support and here’s my part 2… Currently feeding distilled water every time I feel my fingers in the dirt are dry about 4” down. I’m scared to water till run off at this point as the roots are still young. I Fed 1/2 cup great white on 12/8 12/11 morning, showed first sign of vegetational stage(7sets of true leaves). 12/11 pm fed nutes(called advance and the guy was great very informative and helpful. Said for autoflowers to give half the dosage that is printed because those measurements are for photo’s) 2mil sense grow ph perfect a 2mil sense grow ph perfect b 4mil voodoo juice 4mil b-52 Mix all these into 1 gallon distilled in order from top to bottom. Then I fed 1/2 cup of that mix to each plant. Used cheap Amazon test kit 270ppm/ water temp 67 / water ph 5.75 12/12 am low stress training I forgot to mention that I increased the dimming from 4-6 on my light which gives the plants 420par ;) and I think 17000lux gotta learn how to use yet another cheap Amazon tool. Hey it works to give a general idea and as long as the numbers are consistent then why not use it as a reference.

I think it was too early and I got too eager to feed my plants nutes. They started to dry up, taco and turn yellow. Any advice? I plan on waiting for soil to dry completely and then just keep adding distilled water to try to slowly flush away the soil but I plan on doing so about a half cup at a time. Thanks and good luck to everyone out there trying.

So I haven’t added any more nutes worth the fear of my plants dying but I will start giving them the flowering schedule nutes now that they are healthy again. I noticed the first set of white pistols forming too!!

Haven’t been able to really check in daily. Been letting it go too dry I think and then messing up by over watering to try and compensate. I added nutrients in hope to make things healthy again but it seems to back fire yet again 😂. At least with this being my first grow I’m learning about the plants life cycle, the environment and myself. I will not be making the same mistakes. A part of me wants to dump all the existing plants and just start over fresh but I want to learn about the curing and harvest as well so if I do so then I’ll be taking away from the new growth in learning being my first time. I also ordered 2 books to help me get a little more educated. I will post the books later on I can’t recall the names of the top of my head rn. Anyways best of luck and blessing to everyone out there trying. 😎

We shall see what happens. I definitely put way less nutrients this time around and I followed with water to make sure 😂. Also it was my first time trimming leaves or defoliating so I felt kinda bad for my poor plants but they look healthier after a nice trim so it was necessary. Hopefully not. Stressing the plants out too much. Well good luck to everyone and happy new year!!

Still waiting for amber colors before I harvest watching daily. Watering with just Poland spring as needed and will will allow soil to dry up a day or two prior to harvesting. As usual I hope everyone nothing but the best and appreciate each one of you. Have a great day!!

@Smith420, I germinate the seeds first in water and then in a damp napkin. When In roughly 4 - 5 days, I will have keys capable of planting in the substrate. It's been working that way for me for the 4 years I've been growing. Above all, enjoy growing and your love of plants. Good luck and peace 💚☮️

@Targona,thanks! I was nervous because I noticed that the first day they were getting long and weak I had the light all the way at the top of the tent so they were reaching. I lowered the light to about 30” and dimmed it to maintain the 300par. I also poured more soil on top to support the stem. I can’t wait to check out your grows and join your channels. Appreciate the love.

A little heavy handed with both feeding and training for their age is very common on one's first grow. If your soil already has nutes in it straight from the bag that's usually enough for seedlings for the first few weeks. Took me a couple of grows to learn that sometimes less is better. You will get the hang of it. ✌️😎💨
Smith420
Smith420commented2 years ago
@Inganjawetrust,thanks!! So u agree leave it alone and water without any mycorrhizae or nutrients until leaves get their life back. I really appreciate ur response I hope nothing but the best in all ur grows and life. I’ll make sure to follow u and like ur stuff!! 😎

Hey man if your concerned about powder mildew I would turn off that humidifier immediately and grab yourself a little sulphur just sprinkle a tiny bit gently where you think you may be having a problem. Is it pm or just sugar ? Sometimes it's easily mistaken at your stage. Good job on the grow by the way
Billyandbarb
Billyandbarbcommented2 years ago
@Smith420, I took a real close look at all your pictures and I didn't see any powder mildewjust sugar. PM starts on stalks and leaves 100% of the time. I think your good to go thus far

Billyandbarbcommented2 years ago
@Smith420, hey dude ! Ya turn it right off you want it to be as dry as possible so if you can get your RH lower then 45-50 then I would by all means ! And thank you I only have the 2 nothing to exciting just yet. I'm week 3 of flower and week 1 of flower but thanks for the good wishes! If there's anything else I can help with just ask away thanks for the good wishes

@@Billyandbarb,thanks ! I realized or I believe that it’s actually just the beauty of the plants starting to fill with the bulbous glandular trichomes ❤️. Do u recommend turn off the humidifier all together? I’m nervous because I thought I had to keep the humidity 40-50% during flowering stage. I greatly appreciate ur time and comment. Wish u the best in ur grows ! Can’t wait to check out ur diaries
