Day 2 - Learning. Got the temp and the humidity dialed-in in the tent now and watering daily.
Day 3 - Seeing new growth and everything looks good to me. Only problem is extra humidity in the house, so tonight the humidity gets turned off when the lights go off at midnight.
Day 4 - Leaves looking pale and clawing a little on the top of a couple plants, so I added a little Dr Earth veg fertilizer and some worm castings while watering tonight. Also opened up one of the air vents on the tent. We'll see how they look tomorrow.
Day 5 - Looking a little better today. Seeing new growth down low on all 3 plants.
Day 6 - No significant changes to appearance or methods. Watered, took pics, said goodnight.
Total noob. First grow. Clones shipped by mail. 5 days in and they seem to getting a little pale and some clawing on top leaves of one. Watering daily. Added some fertilizer and worm castings yesterday. Is there something I should be doing differently. Do they look okay?
You are in coco, I am a coco grower. So the information you need is your ph is off. Keeping coco wet is right. Other guy didn't look at your diary, and don't know how to grow in coco apparently. You need to flush the substrate with a 5.8 ph water. Do this till run off reads 5.8. I use strong ph down then level it out with 5.8 once I get it right. Then reapply nutrients with a cal mag. Coco is heavy irrigation. Just do NOT leave it sit in run off. I run this cycle every other day on them. Keeping them wet between feeding. She will perk up once this is done.
Day 8 Wed 11/23/22 - looking good. No significant changes since yesterday. Just watered and will fertilize and add worm castings tomorrow.
Day 9 Thurs 11/24/22 - Noticed in the photos that they've really gotten more pale since yesterday. Hmmmmm. Watered after adding a pinch of Dr Earth, a small handful of worm castings, and a handful of coco. Also adjusted the pH of my water now that I got my pH meter. Tap water is 7.6, which is what they've been getting up to this point. Adjusted down to 5.8 with pH Down. We'll see if it makes a difference.
Day 10 Fri 11/25/22 - no noticeable changes since yesterday.
Day 11 Sat 11/26/22 - Trimmed off a few of the lowest leaves, especially those that had the tips clipped by the person who cloned them for me. Watered with 5.8 pH water and didn't add anything else tonight.
Day 12 Sun 11/27/22 - They are starting to look so much better since I adjusted the pH to 5.8 three days ago. Just watered tonight and didn't add anything else.
Day 13 Mon 11/28/22 - Fed with a tea of water, worm castings, CalMag Plus and Recharge with a final pH of 5.8. The tops of all the plants are now above the top of the pots, which are all about half full with coco coir right now as I'm building the growing medium from the bottom up. Everything looking great to my eyes.
Day 14 Tues 11/29/22-Vertical growth continues and leaves are all looking healthy and perky. watered 1 tsp of Dr Earth into each plant because they are looking a little pale again - probable nitrogen deficiency.
Day 15 Wed 11/30/22-Clipped a few leaves down low, watered and raised the light 2 inches.
Day 16 Thurs 12/1/22-Just watered tonight. Looking great. So much vertical growth!
Day 17 Fri 12/2/22-Added the following to 1 gal water, used pH down to get pH to 5.8, then divided equally, with one quart for each plant: 0.5 tsp recharge, 4 ml cal-mag. Used that to water in 1.5 tsp Dr Earth fertilizer mixed with 1/3 c worm castings and 1 c coco coir. Also raised the light up another inch since they are growing so quickly.
Day 18 Sat 12/3/22-Just watered tonight and trimmed off a few lower leaves that won't get much light and were looking a little pale. Otherwise all plants looking good after a good feeding yesterday. Nice and perky! Did notice a couple root tips poking through the bottom crease of the fabric pot. Not sure what to do about that. Will research and take action tomorrow.
Day 19 Sun 12/4/22-Just watered today.
Day 20 Mon 12/5/22-Just watered again today, but WOW are they growing a lot every day now! Everything I gave them on Friday really seems to have given them a HUGE boost! Raised the light up 1".

Used that to water in 1.5 tsp Dr Earth fertilizer mixed with 1/3 c worm castings and 1 c coco coir. Also raised the light up another two inches since they are growing so quickly.
Day 22 Wed 12/7/22-Just watered today and raised the light up 2" so it's about 10" above the tops of the plants.
Day 23 Thurs 12/8/22-Watered, pruned and did a little LST on two plants to allow more light to the bottom branches that are left.
Day 24 Fri 12/9/22-Feeding day. Added .5 tsp recharge & 4 ml cal-mag to 1 gal water, reduced pH to 5.9, then divided equally, with one quart for each plant, watering-in 1.5 tsp Dr Earth fertilizer mixed with 1/3 c worm castings and 1 c coco coir. Not looking stressed after all the pruning I did yesterday.
Day 25 Sat 12/10/22-Just watered today and raised the light up 2".

Day 27 Mon 12/12/22-Just watered again today. Curious about the yellowing and tacoing of the topmost fan leaves, so I didn't feed them today as I planned. Will try waiting until 1 week after last feeding and see how it goes.
Day 28 Tues 12/13/22-Just watered today.
Day 29 Wed 12/14/22-Watered today and FIMed plant 3, so now plant 1 has been topped and is getting LST and plant 3 has been FIMed. Plan2 has only been pruned, so now I'll be able to see the difference of these 3 methods.

Day 38 Fri 12/23/22-Just watered today, and adjusted most of the LST, pulling them all down more. Will probably flip to flower in a week or two. Trying to give the seedling a chance to catch up in height. It's currently about 4 inches shorter than these clones but seems to be catching up quickly.

Added .5 tsp recharge & 4 ml cal-mag to 1 gal water, reduced pH to 6.2, then divided equally, with one quart for each plant, watering-in 1.5 tsp Dr Earth fertilizer mixed with 1/3 c worm castings and 1 c coco coir. Pots are nearly full now, so I probably won't be adding any more coco coir after this and they are getting close to flipping to flower.

Day 48 Mon 1/2/23-Added 1 tbl Dr Earth & 1/3 c of worm castings, and then watered in with 1/4 of a gallon of water that had 1/2 tsp of Recharge mixed into it before setting the pH to 5.8.
Day 49 Tues 1/3/23-No water today so I can dry the soil out a bit due to noticing fungus gnats the last few days. Scraped the algae off the outside of all the pots, sprayed the soil with neem oil, covered the soil with diatomaceous earth, and put a yellow sticky trap just above the soil in each pot.
Day 50 Wed 1/4/23-Just watered today.
Day 51 Thurs 1/5/23-Flipped to flower today by leaving the lights off until noon rather than 6am, so they are now on a 12/12 schedule. Only watered today.
Day 52 Fri 1/6/23-Day 2 of flower. Did some major defoliation and removed all the LST clips because I placed the trellis in place for ScrOGging. Only watered today. Also saved 4 clippings for clones.
Day 53 Sat 1/7/23-Top-dressed with 4 tbl Dr Earth Bud/Bloom (switched from Dr. Earth veg fertilizer) & 1/3 c of worm castings, and then watered in with 1/4 of a gallon of water that had 1/2 tsp of Recharge & 4 ml CalMag mixed into it before setting the pH to 6.2.
Day 54 Sun 1/8/23-Watered and a few hours later sprayed the topsoil with neem oil and dusted with diatomaceous earth in an attempt to finish off the dwindling population of fungus gnats.

Watered for a couple more days and started noticing fungus gnats again, so stopped watering from the top for a couple days, applied neem oil to the soil, and watered from the bottom in an effort to dry out the top of the soil and kill the gnats.
Crazy week. While I was working on getting rid of the fungus gnats I took a look at the top layer of the medium with my digital microscope and noticed a very large amount of microscopic bugs, white to off white, maybe slightly brown, with bulbous backs, crawling around in the soil. Continued to give water a from the bottom for a few days while fighting gnats and these bugs at the top with neem and dryness. Nothing was working to reduce the population of microscopic bugs, so I turned off the oscillating fan and applied diatomaceous earth to the top layer of medium in all the plants. That helped with the gnats, but not so much with the microscopic bugs, so I sprayed water with peroxide (3:1) on the top of the medium and stopped watering for two days, which almost completely eliminated all visible bugs in the medium. Fed the plants on 3/7 with Dr Earth and Recharge after 9 days without giving them any nutrients.
Looking at trichomes through the scope, they are mostly clear with about 20% cloudy and 2% amber, so I'd say I have 2-3 weeks until harvest, possibly more.
3/11/23-I'm guessing I have 1-3 weeks until harvest, so I trimmed most of the fan leaves today.
3/19/23-Day 74 of flower and I chopped them and hung them to dry now that the trichomes are about 15-20% amber across all the plants in the tent. Prior to chopping, I stopped watering and giving them light for 48 hours, and I last fertilized 12 days ago in an effort to flush the medium before chopping.
