GG1 is getting ready for more food, as it looks a bit too light green to me. She didnt get any food in the first 6 days, now getting around 300ppm. GG2 got her first food today on day 3, 250ppm, a 100ppm background EC from the mineral water and 150ppm of nutrients. CO2 concentration of the air fluctuates between 500 and 800 since i am sleeping in the same room. Probably wont get any co2 supply from my tank, i am gonna buy some co2 bags to pull it up near 1000ppm in late veg and flower.

Hi guys, just a quick weelkly update: GG#1 is working on the 5th node, being a little gnomy, on the 3rd node it brought only one leaf instead of a pair, which allowed the side nodes to get more light, so they developing nice! Actually i wanted to top, but after seeing this, i think i will only do supercropping on her, as it will grow bushy naturally (i think). I have had some strains before who started growing weird, but ended up as my best yielder in the end! So im gonna take clones and we will see :) I spotted some single calcium def spot on the second leaves, so i raised the nutes and it stopped spreading almost immidiately! (I love coco :D ) The new growth has beatiful oily green colour. Im gonna transplant them, when GG#2 catches up and shows some side nodes. Im gonna throw in some more light as well. Here is how i raised the nutes in the past week, i tried to feed from both sides of the ph range: INPUT-RUNOFF (Watered twice daily, till 20-30% runoff, on the 7th day i left them dry a bit.) 415ppm, 5.9ph-342ppm, 5,7ph 550ppm, 5.7ph-436ppm, 5,7ph 500ppm, 6.2ph-450ppm, 5.9ph 570ppm, 5.9ph-470ppm, 5.8ph 660ppm, 5.7ph-595ppm, 5.8ph 755ppm-5.9ph-613ppm, 5.7ph GG2 is working on the second leaves, nothing special, everything is on spot. INPUT-RUNOFF 300ppm, 5.7ph- 400ppm, 5.8ph 408ppm, 6.1ph- 408ppm, 6.0ph 420ppm, 5.9ph- 408ppm, 5.9ph In the meantime, i popped 2 Crystal Candy XL Auto from sweet seeds, both germinated, now they are in the medium already. TBH I never liked autos, but i am gonna give another try due to a friends success. Gonna throw some pictures of them as well as soon as they come out.

Hi GrowBros, here is the weekly update: GG1 is really growing unorthodox, unsymmetric, like a revegged clone, really weird. I stopped the Ca defiency, but now i got some pest problem with mites. So i covered the pots and gave them some neem oil. Made on her some LST as well as cropping, growing bushy just as i expected. Believe it or not, already smells! :D GG2 is growing nice, symmetric, working on the 4th pair of leaves. Gonna top her soon. Got some early signs of Ca defiency as well, looks like i stopped it but now the new growth looks red-purple. Any idea ? Could be the 17 celsius in the dark period ? They get the full dosage of nutes now, with extra calmag. PH is on point, EC is on point. Any help appriciated! Changed the lights for the TS3000, getting around 800PPFD. INPUT and RUNOFF PH: 5.8 - 5.8 PPM: 850 - 850 The 2 autos working on the second pair of leaves. INPUT : 5.5PH - 490PPM RUNOFF: 5.7PH - 460PPM CO2 fluctuates, but when i am in the room, gets up till 1250ppm which would be awesome to keep it like that. Buying some bags soon.

What you think guys, can the light of the CO2 sensor disturb the plants in the dark period ? It has a really weak green light on it, but still. What kind of light are you using when you have to work on them in the dark period, before the light goes on ? Thanks.

Its just a small light and should have no effect. Especially if it is green. It has to be a strong light or sunlight leaking in to cause issues. Think of how bright it gets where there is a full moon. If your really concerned about it put a bit of tape over the light. Happy Growing.

She looks to me like she's got a nitrogen toxicity - further evidenced by the fact you say you detected a calcium deficiency... you've given her too much nitrogen which has caused a lockout so that she's not able to access the calcium she needs - wouldn't matter if you gave her a whole bottle of calmag, she couldn't get at it. Flush her out and when you feed again, make it only 1/2 strength and cut back on the nitrogen-heavy nutes even going forward. I'd even advocate for a slight increase in your pH to 6.0 to help with the absorbtion of calcium... that's a perfectly acceptable pH in coco... I just think you're really overfeeding her right now and she's trying to tell you she doesn't like it. Red stems are definitely a sign of high stress... flush her and go easy on her! Good luck

Hey fellas, here are the weekly news : Thanks for the answers for the grow questions, i really overfed them with that 900ppm at that stage. Flushed them multiple times with 1/4 strength nutes, they recovered pretty quick. I changed my nutes to GH FloraDuo, trying to simplify it as much as possible. In the flowering period,i am going to run one GG with the FloraDuo, the other one with Advanced Nutrients, just to test things :) For the photoperiods i am feeding currently with 425PPM/6.2PH twice a day, and the runoffs value is 270PPM/5.9PH. Now i will start again to raise the food, but with 50PPMS and slowly, raising it with 100-150PPM was clearly a mistake. Anyway, they look healthy so its all good. Learning process :) In a week or two it will be time for the transplant in their final 30L airpots :) I made some LST, Cropping, and defoliating on GG1, while i topped GG2 in the past days, The two autos are looking a bit small for their age, i hope just because they have not grew their roots big enough yet. Just raised they PPM from 300 to 350 today. PH is 6.2, runoff around 6, All of them getting foliar feeding with 200PPM/5.7PH calmag solution in the dark period. CO2 level is around 1000 because when they have day period i am in the same room sleeping. :D Any tip, positive-negative feedback welcomed!

Hey guys Well, i have to start with the bad news...my mars hydro TS3000 just got burned out, and melted, i am lucky it didnt burn my house down. It looks, they wont even give me a refund, as i dont have the email of the order, despite the fact that they have 5 years warranty on it, and TS3000 doenst even exist for 5 years yet...let alone the fact, that i was spending thousands by them through the years....whatever... So the better news is that i have 2 spare lights, ( 2x SP150, MarsHydro 😂) so i could replace them almost immediately. I think the autos need already more light, but what can i do? Because of the weaker lights, i had to cut back the feeding PPMs from 600 to 400 to avoid overfeeding again, as i saw some early signs. I am trying to get a new light asap. The best news is, that the ladys dont seem to be concerned about the light or anything, growing very nice and healthy. GorillaGhost1 : Day40. She is the one without topping, only cropping and LST. Looks like a got a sativa pheno with her, really bushy though. She is drinking 5.8-6.2PH / 400PPM and the runoff is about 5.9PH / 200PPM. This tells me its time to replant them in the big pots, further supported by the fact, that heavy roots are already coming out at the bottom. GorillaGhost2: Day30. She got topped and low stress training , looking good. Has typical indica leaves, i think she is gonna be the GhostOG Pheno :) Drinking 5.8-6.2PH / 400PPM, runoff has the same value. Showed a little too dark green color, so i did cut back the nitrogen. Roots coming out on the bottom, i think she developed very nice and strong roots as well. We will see it soon. CrystalCandyXL1: Day 20. I did to her what never before to any autos, i topped her. Looks she didnt even take notice of it, growing very fast. 6PH/400PPM, runoff is 6.4PH and 400PPM. PH worries me a bit, next feedings going to be near 5.5 to pull it near 6. CrystalCandyXL2: Day20. Didnt top her, as i want to test the difference in final yield and flowering time. Got LST instead. PH and EC values are the same as CC1s. I have a lot of time with the photoperiods, since they can not go to flowering until the autos finished. I am thinking on the training still, either i am gonna do a heavy defoliating to get more light to the new sprouts, or i am gonna take off the new sprouts, and kinda mainline them. What do you guys think ? Feedbacks, and tips always welcome, especially from someone who had the same strains, or some strain from her genealogy. (GorillaGluexGhostOG) Happy Growing guys! :)

UPDATE I put them in a 1.50 tent, under 400w MH. GG1 - I defoliated her twice this week , and i have to do it again. Made some kind of mainlining as well. I am thinking about topping the side branches, but not the main stem. I think they can not really grow much bigger in the current pot. Feeding twice a day, with 5.8PH/ 575PPM. Runoff is around 6.0PH/375 PPM. GG2 - Broke accidently few branches as i wanted to remove those goddamn LST clips. But if it happened like this, i mainlined and defoliated her. Now she has 5 really massive branches. Going to top all of them and mainline again. Crystal Candys: Surprise, surprise - The topped one looks much bigger. Made some LST on them as well. Feeding is with 5.8PH/500PPM , Runoff is around 6.1PH-350 PPM Happy Growing guys

UPDATE GG1-Day54 / GG2-Day44 / CrystalCandys-Day34 Gorilla Ghosts : 2 days ago i transplated them into 15L fabric pots, because those roots needed more space. They feedings are between 550-650PPM / 5.8PH and honestly, i was lazy to measure the runoffs this week. I am a lazy c*nt, i know, but everything looks on point. GG2 got topped all of her branches, while i left the main branch untouched on GG1, but topped every side branches. For now i didn't do LST, i let them a bit recover from the transplant and topping. I am going to transplant them once again, to the final pots. Both of the ladys started to bring the new shoots unsymmetrically, and have the first pistils as well. Usually this is when i know they are mature enough to flip into flowering period and expect a decent yield. But since i have autoflowers which have to get 18 hours, the ladys staying in veg until the autos finished. 👽 I expect monsters, especially because they still have a final transplant left into 30L airpots. I did 2x defoliation on them this week, and have to do it soon again. Crystal Candys : They showed preflowers as well, but i am still feeding them with veg nutes for one week, then for 1 or 2 weeks they will get preflower nutes and just after that comes the flowering schedule. I dropped CC1 when i poured out the runoff, broke all 4 main branches, but 3 survived. Like this i just lost the advantage gained from topping, i wont be able to tell the difference in yield between the topped and untopped one. I can still find out if the topped one finishes later, though. I feed them around 500PPM/5.8PH but i think they could drink more, i will pull it up to 6-700 PPM . Still under 400W MH. I In a couple of days i switch the bulb for a 600W HPS. After a very intense negotiation, i get my MarshydroTS3000 repaired so the autos will finish under LEDs. CO2 is very low since i am not in the same room anymore, around 450 PPM. I want to pull this up near 1000 until the flowering period, as it is a big boost, when everything else is on spot.I will come with a solution soon 😉 I want companion planting for them as well, i am planning to plant some strawberries, peppermint, and lavender for the terps. That's it in nutshell guys, any feedback, tip and opinion welcome ! 🙏👻 Happy Holidays

UPDATE Gorilla Ghosts : GG Ladys are around 50 cm tall, but 80-90cm wide, bushy as f*ck, thanks to the constant training. I tied them down again, and defoliated twice this week. It is inevitable that i will run out of space, if i didnt do it already. I am working on a solution, probably they will go back to the smaller 1.2x1.2 tent and get a net. Thanks for LST training, i have kept the canopy flat, so SCROG would make sense. They drink 6.0PH-650PPM nutes once or twice a day. Cristal Candys: Pistils everywhere, they officially started the flowering stage. Drinking 6.PH-650 PPM once or twice daily. They get the preflower feeding schedule. since my last post. Not much to say about them, looking good. Any tip, feedback, opinion welcome! Peace out! 👻

UPDATE Gorilla Ghost 1 - Day 68 - Got 3x heavy defoliation and LST this week. Thanks to this i have douzens of new growth, all in one height. Drinks 5.9 PH and once a full strength nute (900ppm-1.8EC) and once with half strength nute (500PPM-1.0EC) Looks like she has more then enough N but a bit less then enough Mg so i gave a bit less grow (2ml/l) and more bloom (1,5ml/l ) formula. Gorilla Ghost 2 - Day 58 - 2x heavy defoliation and LST was her weekly menu as well. She gets the same food like her sister. Till the next update they will move to a 1.20x1.20 tent, and i am gonna flip them into flowering most probably. Crystal Candys- Day - 48 - They got only selective defoliation, just a few cowering leafs at the time. Looking nice, and start having a nice smell as well. They drink twice a day once half and once full strength nutes. ( grow-1.5 ml/l -bloom 3ml/l ). Breeder says it is done in 8 weeks from germination. Well, obviusly it wont be ready in a week :) I feel a little regret that they are only in 10L pots, in 9L coco. With a bigger pot, they could yield so much more. Anwyay, looking nice and all healthy. I am curious on the final result. I had this strain before in soil, it was a pretty nice smoke, only the yield was not the best. (Ca 50g in the same airpot. ) Peace out 👻👻👻

What do you think guys, should i transplant the Gorilla Ghosts once again before i flip them to flower ? Currently in 15L Airpots. I wanna scrog the 2 plants in a 1.20x1.20 tent under 600W HPS - later 480 LED . I have 20 L Plastic pots/39 L fabric pots at home.

You want at least 5 days between transplant and flip to 12/12... how long you go is more about how large you need the plants to be. 3-4L per month of growing... so if you will be pushing 4 months, 15L is about right and 20L wouldn't hurt either... biggest difference is later on you might get an extra day between irrigations by comparison. the plant should at least double in size, so when roughly 2/3rds of L x W of intended garden size is reached, it should fill in well. can always prune a bit if it overgrows and is at risk of microbial issues from all the congestion.

No Scrog for now, I am just letting them grow after months of constant training :) I transplanted them to 20 L pots 5 days ago, in a few days i am gonna flip. I already started to reduce day hours. 17...16...15.. :) They are fully healthy, havent had any defiency in the past 2 months. 😎 Feeding daily : one day full stength, the other day half stength nutes. I keep PH around 5.9 . PPM: 900-500 Crystal Candys : The topped CC1 will be a bit later ready, i can already see that, CC2 has more compact buds at the moment. Not sure about the yield difference yet. I fu***d up the ph with tap water a bit so CC1 showed some calcium spots. I corrected the PH and looking good again, leaves praying :) PH about 6, PPM between 500-750, Every comment, tip, feedback welcome ! 👻👻😎

Even though it is not recommended to defoliate them this stage, i had to do it to prevent mold and get better light penetration. Showing some defiencys : N which is okay, even needed at this stage. Mg and Ca which is confusing because as i know they lock out each other. Leave tips are curling up a bit as well, so i think it was a lockout due overfeeding. They had some drinks with a PPM of 1050, now they get 400-600 PPM of nutes, with 6.0-6.2 PH. Despite this issue they bulking and getting frosty as well. I will start ripening CC2 in a couple days, and CC1 a bit later. Nutes: 2ml Canna A - 2ml Canna B - 2 ml AN Rhino Skin - 0.6 ml CALMAG / liter. If you have any good tips with this defiency/lockout, appriciated ! The Gorillas on the other hand have not had any defiencys ever, leaves praying like a nun and growing like crazy. They are so bushy that i have to do selective defoliation like daily, because they cover each other. Believe it or not, after a defoliation my fingers stick together, and having w33d smell from the fan leaves. :D I am really curious of these, looks like a very stable and resistant strain, even though they are not the same phenostypes, none of them had any problem so far. Shoutout to BSF. :) They get 3ml Canna A - 3ml Canna B - 2ml Rhino Skin - 0.6 ml CALMAG of nutes with ph of 6.0. Peace out👻

UPDATE at the end of day 89/79/69/69. CrystalCandys are near, i would say 10-14 days more for CC1 and 7-10 days for CC2. Pistils getting brown, and smell changed to sweet. They only get 5ml/l T.A. Final Part (former GHE Ripen) and 2ml/l AN Rhino skin with PH of 6.1. Probably going to harvest them twice, i want to give the lower parts an extra week to get more dense buds down there. Otherwise I am satisfied with them, they are really quick finishers but still far from 8 week from germination. (As breeder says.) GorillaGhosts: day 8 of flower, i expected them to be more hairy at this time, but they are mega healthy so i am not rushing anything. Slow and steady wins the race. :) Defoliation still daily. They get between 2.5- 4ml/l from Canna Coco AB and 2ml/l Rhino Skin. PH:6.1 Peace out 👻

All the leaves are yellow, i think she used all the nutrients. The very top has still white hairs, i think it was close to the light so i made a bigger distance to make them feel, autumn is here :) Getting some purple colour as well. Had to cut down the biggest cola already, as i didnt want to get mold. I will chop her in about 5 days. Crystal Candy 2 : I chopped her on day 79, the main cola on day 75 due mold-danger. Got 550 gs wet, and i left the bottom 1/4 to get more mature, so it will be another harvest in a week or so. Flushed them before harvest with Flawless Finish 2ml/l - the runoff had 200PPM when i harvested. Coming back with a smoke report when i cured it. Gorilla Ghosts: Day 101 and 91, 20th day of flower. They are feeling really well, no problems at all. I will have to do a final defoliation/lolipopping and LST soon, as they are really crowded. Getting some side lighting as well to get the maximum out of them. Currently under 600+400 HPS. Feeding with canna ab between 2.5-4 ml / L , Calmag 0.5 ml / L. Planning to buy the other canna nutes for them. I release CO2 manually from my tank twice in the light cycle, 1500 PPM a time. Peace out 👻

UPDATE I chopped CC1 and the rest of CC2 on day85, 700 and 155g wet. So i got exactly the same amount from both. (I broke one of the 4 main stems from CC1 completely down by accident earlier, so probably could have gotten 20-30% more from the topped one.) CC1 smells more fruity than CC2 did, not sure if it is because of the ice she got before the last 24 hour darkness. I believe it was enough shock, since as an auto she got only 4-6 hours dark periods before. I had to defoliate the Gorillas again, and i believe i have to do it till the very end, as they are really bushy. They are on day 105/95 , day 25 of flowering. I cant wait to see them in full flower :) Peace out

Absolutely, just make sure the heat is controlled, Red and Blue light will be absorbed 80-90% in the first layers of leaves (top down), Green light is designed to penetrate deeper into the canopy and is responsible for the large that develops but without Red & Blue all you will get is lackluster popcorn nugs. The optimal ratio for photosynthesis is RBG 1:2:1 Green although required, it is required in small doses, too high concentrations of green in the "full spectrum" can have negative effects, if you add side supplemental lighting, add Blurple to prevent all the greens from meeting in the middle. growdiaries.com/diaries/156342-grow-journal-by-exbeginner/week/903097 Potatoe, potato

UPDATE - Day 119 / 109 - Day 40 of flowering - I hung in some mars sp 150-s for side lighting , I give them co2 3-4 times manually a day, around 1500 ppm. I give them once or twice a week 4-4 ml/l Canna AB , as you can see the edges of the oldest leaves, i push them on the edge of overfeeding. Other then this they look awesome overall, beatiful green colour and praying leaves. GG1 Really has a nice smell, pine, citrus, kushy. GG2 is not too smelly yet, just starting to mature. Breeder says 56-63 days flowering, it will be surely more but whe getting there soon. :) Peace out 👻👽👊

In general the last 2-3 weeks are considered ripening. During this period providing only PK for 10 days is recommended by many growers and manufacturers. The last few days are left for flushing with special components for dissolving the salts accumulated in the substrate. This is made to specially cause active nitrogen deficiency. It forces the plant to break down chlorophyll and use all stored nitrogen in the leaves. Still debatable, but it’s believed that result is the boost of sugar production. That’s why GHE for example advises using only Ripen with no other additives for the last weeks of flowering.

Harvest info Got several harvests with these 2 ladys and got 1100 g of dry goodness at the end. Super easy to grow, very resistant. Except one little overfeed at the very beginning it was basically a flawless round. Thanks for reading my diary guys, i am coming with the smoke reports and THC test results soon.. Stay tuned for my next diary...lets grow pro ! 👻 ! Near the light of the CO2 censor light it grew some bananas and made some seeds, so dont leave ANY light in the dark period guys!
