November 24th 2022 - Today I am getting the main room finished with the polly. I recommend always doing this in any room if you are using a tent or not. It does a great job keeping the room undamaged. Once the polly is finished the tent will be getting setup, Soil will be going into bags & we will be germinating. This round we will be germinating in peat pucks to make the process easier for new growers, As last time someone made a good point about the depth of which to plant a seed. I figured using this peat puck method would further stream-line this tutorial series.
Stay tuned, This crop is about taking what we learned from our last grow & applying it. It is about using slightly more advanced methods & also making some tweaks to our environmental management to log some different VPD results this time around.
November 25th 2022 - Today the room prep continued & frame of 8x4 went up. Tent will be built out over the weekend we will be looking to germinate by Monday - Wednesday of next week! We will be posting up affiliate links for each of the strains we will be growing so you can all grab your seeds & support legacy market farm while you grow along with this diary using the very same genetics!
November 28th 2022 - Shell of the tent has been put on, Lights have been hung. Added in 2 Blurple lights to act as our sunset lights for this grow & to also add in some alternative spectrum into the tent as the SK's are very white. Waiting for Jiffy Pellets to germinate in then it is time to go!
December 8th 2022 - Peat pucks should be here any day then it is germination time! We also have some awesome news to announce in the next coming days or weeks, Stay tuned everybody the seeds will be hitting the pucks very shortly & we will be off to the races.

December 16th 2022 - Today is Friday! Today the bags get filled, Seeds begin to soak. Expect new photos today end of day & the new first episode for this series will begin being edited together for monday release on youtube
December 18th 2022 - Today the seeds begin their 24hr soak! Tomorrow after 24hrs they go into peat pucks.
December 19th 2022 - Today the seeds finished their soak & all where sinkers this time! Good sign, Official germination date : December 19th 2022
December 20th 2022 - Today the electrician came by to replace the entire panel. This left us without power for 4 hours which got cold in the house and tent. I am hoping this does not stunt germination as this was originally planned for January. Tent is set at 80F & have 1 SK & both sunset lights on to ease them out of the pucks & help generate the heat in the tent needed for optimal germination.
December 21st 2022 - Today 3 bottle cap's of water where added to the top's of each peat puck. Small amount of water added to the bottom of each tray for the pucks to absorb slowly. Ambient tent temperature at 78 F right now and holding.
December 23rd 2022 - A lot of the pucks have slightly disturbed surfaces right at the seed site & you can see the soil being pushed up from underneathe. I Would say a good percentage of them should be showing above substrate by tomorrow morning! Stay tuned everybody for germination rate :)
December 26th 2022 - Day 7 & most of all the seeds are now germinated and above the puck surface. We will be getting them into bag's in the next 2 days time. Stay tuned you guys!
December 27th 2022 - Today we got 45 out of 46 seeds germinated! 1 Skittlez & 1 Strawberry Cheesecake are the only seeds to have not popped up yet. The recent ones to have germinated will need a day or two before going into their bags so we will be looking to get them all into the pro mix & bagged up within the next 2 to 3 days maximum. Stay tuned you guys for week 1 VEG coming next!
December 28th 2022 - 45 out of 46 seeds up now. Only 1 Strawberry cheesecake out of the 15 did not germinate. Tomorrow everything begins to go into bags! Stay tuned for an announcement soon and to find out where the other 6 seeds belong

The 6x Blue Dream auto's from fastbuds will be starring in their own diary very shortly we are just awaiting one last piece before that update goes up. January 1st 2023 - Happy new years everybody ! Today the plants got 2 gallons of water between the 40 sprouts. Mixture of root builder & Rapid start. More root more fruit! Now we are guiding them through their sprout phase into the young cannabis plant phase just like last time, Except this time with a bit more focus on the roots early on now adding in Rapid start to the mix. Waiting for that perfect timing to F.I.M again!
January 2nd 2023 - Business as usual today. Still awaiting our next tent to put the blue dream autos in & start up another diary. Vegging @ 80 F @ 70% RH. Will be running a colder flower cycle VPD this round compared to last.
January 3rd 2023 - The new tent should be here today allowing me to bag up the blue dream auto's & move them into their new home under their new light & do the announcement to go along with it ! Other than that, Everything is looking good so far. I am interested to see if we end up F.I.Ming earlier or later than last crop & if the sunset method shows us any real signs of allowing the plants to grow more rapidly by utilizing their night cycle to its full potential.
January 4th 2023 - Today the new tent & Light arrived! We are now proudly partnered with @MarsHydro for our lights and tents. We will be beginning our partnership by reviewing & using their 5x5 grow tent and 1x FC4800 Bar-style LED. We will be setting up our affiliate account very shortly so soon you will be able to purchase Mars Hydro gear and support Legacy Market Farm! The new Diary for the new tent & light will be up by tomorrow! Main tent plants are looking great. Growth rate might be faster than last round, Making me wonder if the sunset light is perhaps making the difference. Something that will require more in depth study later down the road with clones. They are looking ready for a soft feed next time they get watered.
January 5th 2023 - Uneventful day. Waiting for the bags to dry out real well before the plants get their first soft feed. Blue dream's moved out now into their own Mars Hydro tent under a Mars Hydro FC4800 Diary coming up shortly!
January 6th 2023 - Last day of week 1 Veg everybody. Plants got their first soft feed today in both tents. Week 2 we are going to be watching closely to catch them for the F.I.M as early as possible. Stay tuned everybody it is going to be interesting to compare these 2 crops as this one grows!

January 7th 2023 - Starting off week 2 now we are keeping our eyes peeled for the first sign of lateral growth to show & we will then be F.I.Ming Tent #1. The Blue Dream auto's in tent #2 will take a little while to catch up and be ready for their F.I.M as well. Stay tuned everybody!
January 8th 2023 - Today the quality of the genetics is starting to show. The Strawberry cheesecake is fairly solid for the 14 that germinated there is 1 weak mutant & 1 weak non mutant, The other 12 are fairly solid. The 5 Larry Lemon OG are all consistent, Then the rest for sure leave something to be desired, The NL, Green Crack, Skittlez are all fairly weak genetically. The Gelat.OG are fairly decent 5/5. This is a problem you will run into with any breeder as you raise your plant count through seed you will encounter inconsistency and this will lead to wasted time and money. The more plants you grow the more your nutrient costs will be. This natural progression of the series is made to highlight these issues in real time witch will lead us into our next series, Photoperiods & raising moms and clones.
Next feed will be going with our 20 gallon tank & hose feed showing how to manage a feed cycle on a larger number of plants. Stay tuned! Episode 3 is being edited together as we speak for week 1 veg.
January 9th 2023 - Plants where F.I.Med today & weak ones removed from the tent. The Fast Buds Blue Dream Autos, In my Mars Hydro 5x5 under my Mars Hydro FC-E4800 are beginning to catch up now & will hopefully be ready for their F.I.M session next week.
January 10th 2023 - Today the plants are going to get a volume increase in their watering & today we will be on the WATER schedule of our FEED / FEED / WATER routine.

January 11th 2023 - Everything is really starting to take off now after the F.I.M, Once they dry out fully from their last WATERING, I am going to be giving them a 10 gallon feed of the full nutrient program these plants will be receiving.
January 12th 2023 - 2 days after the F.I.M now they are recovering great. All strains seem to have taken to it just fine, So calk up some more autoflower genetics that can be F.I.M'ed if timed correctly. Waiting for soil to dry out and these ladies to be ready for their first bit of food.
January 13th 2023 - End of week 2 VEG & plant's are looking great. They have all responded well to the F.I.M and are hard at work developing new Apex growth to replace their pinched off top's. The PAR is going to be raised up to the high 600's to start week 3 by lowering our Spectrum kings down onto the plants more & potentially firing up the third one in the middle.

January 14th 2023 - First day of week 3 VEG. Experiment preformed on 1x strawberry cheesecake 1x larry lemon OG. I have performed a second F.I.M on the new Apex growth sites to see if the possibility of a 2x F.I.M can be done on autos. Light has been lowered to up the PAR & they will be getting their first big feed finally tomorrow.
January 15th 2023 - Feed day today! They will be getting their first introductory feed to their program for VEG. Other than that business as usual. Weekly setpoints remain the same.

January 16th 2023 - Explosive growth! They have really taken off since their first feed timed with the increase in PAR. They are off to the races now :)
January 17th 2023 - Some of the strains are entering the pre flower stretch phase. The green crack, Skittlez, Gelat.OG are all beginning to stagger nodes. The Larry Lemon OG & Strawberry cheesecake are still actively vegging.
January 18th 2023 - The green crack, Skittlez, & Gelat.OG have entered into pre-flower. Nodes are developing staggered and pistils have sprouted. The Larry Lemon OG & Strawberry Cheesecake & Northern Lights have NOT yet entered into flower. Set-points will be changing end of week to account for this. Another reason why when your plant count goes up, You want to pick either 1 cultivar to clone and run or a couple/few & make sure they are all similar in finish times. This is another issue when growing lots of strains & doing it from seed that our natural progression of this series will highlight and show. The third spectrum king has been kicked on now & PAR raised on all the plants in the main tent.
January 19th 2023 - I was going to SCHWAZZE on day 1 of week 4, But I am going to go ahead & SCHWAZZE tomorrow to end week 3 with their first defoliation. I can see the Larry Lemon OG & Strawberry cheesecake is close to entering into pre-flower as well so in preparation of that we are going to make sure the light penetration plant energy usage is as efficient as possible with a good SCHWAZZING end of week 3. Week 4 will start off with a WATER instead of a FEED due to the amendments in the soil being higher than normal.
January 20th 2023 - Today was SCHWAZZE DAY. The defoliation and stripping away of any lower growth in preparation for pre flower. Some of these plant's are for sure smaller than I would like at this stage, I am thinking that c02 needs to be implemented into the tent as some of the plants are choking out. This is another issue you will see as you raise your plant count and the surrounding ambient c02 is used up much quicker, So now coming up we are going to teach now to make sure our plants get enough c02 to thrive & exactly how much that is. January 23rd 2023 - Uneventful day business as usual. Nice to see the plants perking up & pushing out vigorous growth after their SCHWAZZE. I am beginning to see some potential in this harvest :)
January 24th 2023 - Today is around 48hrs after the WATER the plants received the day after their SCHWAZZE. We can really see when timed correctly, How we can divert energy into the plant growth patterns we wish to achieve. Going to be watching and waiting to put the net down after their last day 20 flower SCHWAZZE. Next feed will be a introduction into their flower feed program.
January 25th 2023 - Today is the day you can really see the bounce-back from the SCHWAZZE & vigorous growth we got out of timing it correctly, Then watering or feeding directly after. We will be doing another defoliation SCHWAZZE day 20 of flower until then it is business as usual keeping the set-points dialed in. We will be doing their next FEED focusing on root development & transition to flower in the next few days as the majority are dry, We are just waiting on a few more to dry up. Right now letting the substrate dry out completely is still very vital to helping our root zone spread out and develop larger.
January 26th 2023 - Today lights where lowered & PAR raised in the main tent up to 850-900 on average to match tent #2 with the blue dream's now that they have caught up. It is insane to think these where SCHWAZZED heavily a few days ago. They are going to be ready for their week 5 " Week 1 flower SCHWAZZE " on day 1 of week 5 that is for certain. They are Booming!
January 27th 2023 - Plants have taken the 3rd light being on and increase in PAR very well. We are at the end of week 4, Now going into week 5 witch I will officially call week 1 flower for the main tent. The c02 has been added in & week 5 day 1 will be SCHWAZZE, Week 5 day 2 will be FEED. January 31st 2023 - Another uneventful day. Although tomorrow, I have decided to drop the light cycle down to 14/10 and begin to give these ladies more down time to further utilize the energy they are storing up through out the day and hopefully get some more vigorous push into flower.
February 1st 2023 - Today was the first wake-up for these ladies from 14/10. The light cycle has been lowered to give them more down time to utilize the high levels of PAR they are being given. Letting them dry out before their next feed, Business as usual. Thank you @Seedsman
February 2nd 2023 - Today is their second wake up from 14/10 I can for sure see them perking up more & more growth noticeable from the plants. I am going to widen the gap to beyond 10 degrees less with lights off to start week 2 flower & encourage some extra stretch from these ladies hopefully. Smooth sailing right now waiting for them to dry out before their next feed.
February 3rd 2023 - Today is the last day of week 5, week 2 veg. For the most part, I am very satisfied with where the crop is at. Lets see what next week of flower brings us!

February 6th 2023 - Today the plants where ALMOST ready, But could go 1 more day. So I am pushing them 1 more day for their next WATER to really let those roots go searching out for more water to consume & spread out that much more.

February 8th 2023 - After yesterdays watering the main tent's plants where slotted back in to give the shorter plants the middle of the light, From here on out we are just watching & waiting and keeping things dialed in. Day 20 SCHWAZZE is our next big scheduled event on the plants & after that, The net goes down.
February 9th 2023 - The ladies look great today. The tent is starting to put out a nose now & The bud development is happening rapidly. Tomorrow, Day 7 of week 2 I will be preforming their final SCHWAZZE. This is usually reserved for day 21 week 3 after witch the plants do not grow new leafs. I am going to try doing it a little bit before that so they have some bounce back time. We will see how the results work out!
February 10th 2023 - Today they got their final SCHWAZZE. This is usually done by day 21 flower in week 3, This time I am doing it a little bit prior to that date to give the plants a little bit of time to re-grow more leaf and hopefully power through a stronger finish. They have dried right out from their last 20 gallons. This will be the last time the bags are left to dry out completely to encourage root growth. Now the plants will be finishing developing their root structures we want to make sure they have enough water at all times to consume to hit the rates we need to in order to yield the numbers we want. We generally do not want bellow 50% moisture content from here on out. Tomorrow they get their next big feed & jump up in PPM

February 12th 2023 - These girls sure loved their feed & Final SCHWAZZE timing having really packed it on the last 24hrs. I am excited to see how these girls finish up and the weight we get from the tent.
February 13th 2023 - This crop has really shown some nice swell since their last feed & timed SCHWAZZE. I have high confidence that this should be a great harvest. Right now what is most important is keeping the environment dialed in consistently and making sure our plants are fed & watered properly in terms of volume & no burn or deficiency.
February 14th 2023 - WOW, These girls are dry already. 20 gallons in 3 days is a good number when we arent quite at full consumption yet. They will be getting a FEED tomorrow. They are swelling up good & at this point we want to make sure we match that swell and their intake with enough water to pack on real weight.
February 15th 2023 - Today the plants got their next feed in their FEED / FEED / WATER cycle. This feed is slightly different, Focusing on boosting up their immune system's & resistance to stress as we go down the back stretch of flower. The feed was as follows :

February 16th 2023 - Everything looking crazy good in here. Finishing off week 3 just letting the plants dry out from their last feed, Next up in the cycle is going to be a big WATER. Starting week 4 with wider gaps between lights on & off. Stay tuned ! This ones gonna get exciting XD
February 17th 2023 - Really happy with how these ladies look to end off week 3 flower. Also very happy with their water consumption getting 2 20 gallon feeds in this week. Hopefully that can go up a bit more. Stay tuned for week 4!

February 18th 2023 - Starting off week 4, We have dropped the light cycle down to 12/12 and increased our PAR by kicking on the 3rd spectrum king permanently now instead of altering it on and off every second day. Temperature for day & RH for day is staying the same, Night time temps are getting colder & RH dryer. Stay tuned you guys! Next up is a WATER, In their FEED / FEED / WATER routine.
February 19th 2023 - Temperature gap opened up more now & plants are beginning to really stack on and cake up. I cannot wait to see how these ladies push through mid flower into the final stretch!

February 25th 2023 - Today is the first day of week 5 flower ! These girls have really packed on size. I am excited to see the weight come in when the swell begins & ripening starts.
February 26th 2023 - The plants are really booming now. I feel as long as I keep their water consumption on point, This should be a great harvest. Finishing these girls off right is now top priority.
February 27th 2023 - Both tents are absolutely reeking the aroma is much, Much stronger this round. Even the 6 blue dreams are stinking enough to keep up with the main tent. February 28th 2023 - The smell from both tents is getting very intense. The plants are swelling up rapidly and really caking up hard. Tomorrow is going to be their next FEED.

March 2nd 2023 - Everything in this tent is looking great & pushing hard. The swell & ripening is going great, Next in line is going to be a WATER in their FEED / FEED / WATER cycle lining up perfectly for week 6. This water will include a few building block nutrients that are key to plant development for this time. We will be getting into that next week.
March 3rd 2023 - Ending another successful week. Tomorrow begins week 6, We are in the home stretch now everybody! Stay tuned, This will be a very good / interesting harvest XD

March 4th 2023 - Today begins week 6! Right now we are waiting for the ladies to dry out to around 40% moisture content then we are into our WATER in our FEED / FEED / WATER cycle. Except we will be adding 2 building block nutrients which will be CALMAG & POTASSIUM. We will get more into this when the time comes in a few days. Everything is swelling up and caking up nicely. Although there is in my opinion, WAY too much pheno spread in this strawberry cheesecake auto for 14 seeds, I can spot a good 4-6 phenos in here. This strain needs to be refined much, much more @seedsman
March 5th 2023 - Everything looking good for the most part, I noticed some fade ever since dropping grow down getting ready to cut it from the feed. I am going to skip the next WATER & do another FEED to correct this & re apply grow at its normal level as these plants are obviously missing the higher level of nitrogen. Other than that, Looking great all around.
March 6th 2023 - Today they are almost ready for their next FEED, We would normally be doing a WATER, But we are going to skip that & do a FEED with standard GROW / MICRO / BLOOM & some Rapid start and B-vital to help the few plants needing more nitrogen intake at this stage of flower. Ever since dropping GROW down to half the fade began on a few phenos of strawberry cheesecake & 1 of the blue dreams.
March 7th 2023 - Today we did the Corrective Feed attempt instead of their WATER in their FEED / FEED / WATER cycle. My friend @Handmade_BrianG recommended potential lack of cal mag intake which I did not even consider having tunnel visioned in on the lack of grow. With that said, Here is what we have mixed as our adjustive Feed.

Kept the PPM lower as it was supposed to be a WATER in the cycle but I felt trying to optimize everything in the final stretch was worth intervening and attempting a correctional feed. THANK YOU so much for that second set of eyes. Helps a ton! Plants are looking great, The cake is staking hard on most phenos of the strawberry cheesecake, The Larry Lemon as well is crazy caked.
March 8th 2023 - Plants are doing their thing stacking & caking hard. I could see some of them being ready in 1 to 2 weeks MAX. The right side of the room is going to begin its flush at the start of next week. The one Larry Lemon that started flowering late will be moved over to the right side & allowed to continue. Right now we are on a week by week basis as to when to chop for the majority of the right side, So we are going to want to get the flush going and getting them ready to pull down.

March 9th 2023 - For around I would say 80% of the crop they are within their last 2 weeks of life. I have taken some night time shots & finally labeled each so you guys can tell what plant is what. Next up is a WATER in our FEED / FEED / WATER. We are in the home stretch now everybody!
March 10th 2023 - Today they got a nice big WATER in their FEED / FEED / WATER cycle. Tomorrow I am going to sort the plants to one side all the ones close to finishing & the ones needing more time, On the other side. That way I can begin the flush on the ones that are ready for it and still feed the growing and budding plants still needing more time.

March 12th 2023 - Business as usual, Not much going on the plants continue to swell and stack cake all day all night.
March 13th 2023 - Really caking up hard, Excited to see a lot of the buds I thought where close to done, Pushing more growth out even more.
March 14th 2023 - Wow these girls are swelling nice now. The ones I would assume to be closest to being finished are putting out another push and swell right now throwing more white hair out. I am thinking we are going to be OKAY for yield on this one, But obviously could have been better. Now in the final few weeks we are alternating the amount of days between watering as this is another form of low impact stress we can now use to induce our plants to cake up more or put more energy into finishing up. Light deprivation will be coming in the final week.
March 15th 2023 - Was going to do a FEED today in their FEED / FEED / WATER but decided to push it one more day, Will be doing it tomorrow & after that, Will be rotating to a WATER / WATER / FEED cycle as we approach the end of the life of the majority of this crop !
March 16th 2023 - After careful consideration, The majority of the crop is going to 100% begin it's flush tomorrow. The few that are behind in flower in the main tent + the blue dream, Will continue on. We will be moving the remaining plant's into the tent with the blue dream & using the 8x4 to hang dry the rest of the plants in as the others finish off. These girls are looking real good and the quality of this crop is something I am fairly excited for being that these are autoflowers and I up until now, Did not expect much from them. March 17th 2023 - Today we gave the plants another WATER in the cycle. This is due to the plan to harvest the majority of the tent at the end of week 8. As their last consumption was also a WATER, This will give us a nice 14 day flush on the plants that are ready to come down. The remaining 9 plants that will not yet be ready are going to be aloud to continue in this tent.

March 18th 2023 - This one is going to be very interesting. Moving the plants around getting them ready for harvest in 7 days, Some are very heavy. Those that are small are very dense, The bigger ones pack a lot of weight as well. There are a good number of plants that will be continuing on as the Larry lemon OG & Strawberry cheesecake come down, Only around 4 to 5 plants from the left side will be joining them. The rest will be continuing on until we are at optimal ripeness on all plants. We want everything to finish up completely so we do not miss out on any swell or density that comes in late. This is key to making sure our buds look like proper AAA+ Cannabis flower & also has the weight and density we want as well. Cutting early, Your buds will never have the appearance or body of proper craft cannabis.
March 19th 2023 - The date is getting ever closer everybody, We are within 5 days of harvest now for a good portion of the crop, Some beautiful colors have set in on almost all strains in the room now. I am hoping the medical value & bag appeal will be off the charts on these girls. Lets see how they come down and dry up!
March 20th 2023 - Today the girls look great. The plants are getting so caked & dripping with terps. We have begun an experiment we will be trying until pull down. Instead of 72hrs of darkness, We will be trying the Bruce Bugbee theory of 72hrs of lights on instead. I will link the video bellow to learn about the theory, We will see how it works out but it also gives me some interesting ideas for advantages of autoflowers VS photoperiods which we will be returning to eventually investigate.
March 21st 2023 - These ladies are putting on some amazing coloration. Right now we are using colder temps for our feed instead of 68, We want to be using around 60F for our feed temps right now. Watching the plants each day waiting for the moment to begin the pull down. These are the most exciting times every grow !
March 22nd 2023 - These girls are just going CRAZY. I think the density is going to be there this crop & potency as well. I think we should see some beautiful bag appeal if we dry and trim this stuff up to standards. Only a few days away now everybody stay tuned for chop & wet weight!
March 23rd 2023 - Tomorrow is the day!, We will be building out the drying room as the tent's will both be remaining occupied.48hrs of light has been begun attempting the DR. Bruce Bugbee lights on method at the end rather than darkness.

March 26th 2023 - Well, The plants have finally got their feed they where waiting for & with more room around each plant for the light to penetrate, These bigger plants should really finish up nicely!
March 27th 2023 - Everything is back to being fed now & pushing on. The biggest, Best plants are yet to come down!
April 2nd 2023 - Everything is on a WATER in their FEED / WATER / FEED right now keeping everything 7 days away from being ready to chop if needed. Most of the left over plants will be coming down in 5 more days except 8 in the main tent. The slow dry is going GREAT and these ladies are looking absolutely unbelievable for autoflowers. Wait until you guys see the finished results!
* EDIT * Today we did an emergency pull on all but 8 plants, The 2 Green Crack still growing showed some signs of male flowers forming, So we pulled them and anything close to them in case any pollen was released. Hopefully this will prevent the formation of any real serious seed issues in the flower. Nothing else in the tent formed male flower's except the 2 Green Crack Auto's.
April 3rd 2023 - With the sight of male flower sites formed on the Green Crack I have decided that within 7 days I am going to pull the final plants & get this one done and over with. The one Skittlez & Gelat.OG that are furthest behind would need another 2-4 weeks to fully size out and I just do not think we could achieve that amount of extra flower time without a lot of seeds setting into these flowers as it really does not take much pollen in a room to seed up every single plant. I am going to expect some in here, But hopefully with a careful trim & breakdown of the buds into smalls we can avoid any showing up in the final samples or bags.
These are the first seeds I have grown that have hermied on me. I am thinking it was the 48hrs of solid light before harvest part 1, Then swapping back to 12/12 for the rest of the crop. The formation of the male sex sites looked fairly immature and fresh so the timing would make sense. I thought with them being autoflowers it would not be a huge deal, But obviously it had an impact. This is another symptom of having multiple strains all coming down at different times & something that I am eager to remove going forward as we move closer to clones. This series has allowed me to teach the most important basics of growing cannabis & also learn a lot myself in the process being new to growing in tents. I feel this shared experience has been great for me & I look forward to continue it in the next series ever improving!
