Hello your plants looks good. They are small maybe due to genetic if it is indica dominant. Then you should let your setup and light like this. Keep doing a good job. Bye

Yes, you can use this fertilizer with Fox Farm soil. They don't look bad for their age. the size is normal. but it could have been better. you have a moisture problem. she is very skinny. should be at least 50%. at best 70%. dark leaves indicate that the roots are drying out. try to water so that the whole soil is tested and not just in the center. Basically, most of the roots are located around the perimeter of the pot. and due to low humidity, these areas dry out faster and, accordingly, the roots that are there. let's sum up. raise the humidity to 50%+ and make sure that when watering, water penetrates well everywhere. and make sure the soil doesn't dry out.

would you defoliate the largest 2 leafs on each plant? maybe it allows better light and air flow. or not yet? maybe would start a different technique ? all photos , no nutes, no thing done to them yet. gonna let them ride til 24in I think them top and lst and scrog. other ideas?

Personally, I wouldn't defoliate now at all... if you're going for the "big girls" you're going to want as much energy put into growth as possible and defoliating while the plant is in veg defeats that goal as you'd be cutting off it's energy makers - the leaves. Wait until they start to go into flower and reassess then... but I think you're going to want to do some at that point - they DO look like they're going to be massive and VERY bushy! Well done! Good luck!

I was gonna add some soil dressing in the form of worm castings. I also have compost . should I add the 2 together?

GrowingGrannieanswered grow question 3y ago
I guess my question back to you here is - for what reason are you thinking about top dressing? I'd worry a bit about the compost adding unwanted, unneeded nutes - particularly nitrogen... but worm castings, on the other hand, is something that is impossible to over-do - i.e., you're not going to harm your plant and will probably help a lot... So I'd vote for just the worm castings but give the compost a miss... Good luck!

Yes to much air blowing over the leaves can cause the leaves to transpire to much and they will usually start to curl in an attempt to retain water. You only want air circulation to avoid WPM. A small fan below the canopy can help keep things circulating nicely. Keeping your fan blowing above the canopy is what you want. Never directly on the plant. Happy Growing

I don't grow photos - only autos - but as a rule of thumb, I start adding Bloom nutes during pre-flower at 1/4-1/2 strength to give them the boost they're going to need to start setting good bud sites. When they're in full flower (for autos, about a week later), I will start adding PK boost again at a lower dosage while bringing the Bloom nutes up... so not specifically knowing how to treat photos, I would tend to listen to Ezzjaybruh and m0use here since their answers tend to make sense to me... Good luck!

i dont start bloom nutes before end of second week EVERRR. plant will need most P and K between weeks 3/4/5 so loading with bloom nutes before those week locks the soil/medium. also during week 1 and 2 and most of week 3 is where the plants stretches the most and creates more nodes thus using moreee nitrogen( i add silica at this point makes it tough AF!!) they still need P and K at weeks 1 2 and half of 3 but in a very slightly hire concentrations which is why i keep using grow nutes till mid week 3. from end of week 3 i start going in at 3/4 dose bloom nutes and peak full dose at end or mid of week 4 thru out week5 with boosters ;) ( WEEKS 4-6 is where most plants show a potassium or phosphorus deficiency as they require much more P/K and few of N) . after week 6 no more boosters i go onto some overdrive from with 3/4 dose base and gradually decrease to flush week 8 and harvest on 9th or 10th week.

They did not start flowering yet! Wait till you see the first white pistils. When they appear she started to pre flower. From that moment you can add a basic blooming nutrient. The plant will start streching for 2-3 weeks and after the buds will start to swell. From the moment the plant stops streching and the buds start to swell she started the flowering phase. From this moment you can add a PK-Booster like PK 13/14 to your basic blooming nutrient solution. You can start with a EC 1.2 with your first nutrient solution during pre flowering. And build this up every week with EC 0.1 till you reached EC 1.6 When you reached EC 1.6 you can keep giving this amount till flushing 2 weeks before harvest. Enjoy your grow!

HiddenMessage been extremely cold around the tent so the inside temp is pretty low rn . hard to break 70 today but should get better. plants def not loving it but surviving. the plants in flower are doing great as they are in a different tent located in a more temp controlled room. might have to switch to flower on all plants after 1 more week due to space . will prob add 2nd scrog net . easy grow thanks to not having used nutes thus far. much more enjoyable. ive tried defoliating all the plants but the leaves grew back so qucik you can't tell. def gonna flip to flower soon after they look super healthy for 3-4 days in a row .

If this was my grow, I'd be top dressing with some Langbeinite 0-0-22 (1 tablespoon every 4 weeks) to add some good K to the mix.... Hard to tell from this pic if she needs more defol - as long as there's good air flow through the plants, I'd probably leave her alone - she looks really healthy! Good luck!

HiddenMessage plants started showing signs of light stress when they reached 26 inch from light . moved it up to 32 . gave all 8 plant worm castings and the most flowering ones more Gaia Green after only 2 weeks. some smell crazy and others not like at all. hopefully the plants in week 2 flower start stretching a lot since the light got moved up. separated the plants some for better air flow . didn't stretch like I expected but maybe cuz light was too close early in flower forgot to mention I add langbeinite 0-0-22 from Down to Earth at beginning of week.

GrowingGrannieanswered grow question 3y ago
I don't consider 70F to be too low... they would grow stronger/better if it was higher but we all have to deal with what IS and sometimes, we can't really control the temperature. For example, on a current grow I've got going, the day time temps are about 74F - but when those lights go off, the temps drop to the upper 50s which concerns me greatly as she's still vegging... The only thing I'm able to do that I'm COMFORTABLE with is to only give her 2 hours of dark a day rather than 4 or even 6... The bigger concern, imho, is the humidity and that's going in the right direction - down! I'll take slower growth over bud rot every day and twice on Sundays.. Relax, everything will be fine... and btw, EVERY grow could be better... you'll never reach perfection so don't stress out trying to achieve it! Good luck....

When this arose with my plants not long ago I had to adjust all my DLI, PPFD and my VPD...Light intensity and length of time the plant is exposed to light was my major factor, I had to dim my light, raise the ficture and change my light cycle a bit,..I also reduced water and changed the temp and HR and slowly adjusted those values back to baseline which evenly lead me to my DLI and PPFD counts...Download tent buddy it has a par reader and DLI calculator and also has a VPD calculator as well that app definitely helped out many times...If your PPFD is high and you DLI is high I would adjust that first, take 24 hours to notice a difference, it that doesn't trouble shoot the other issues one by one

I mean dude - unless you had a genetic male in there just cranking pollen- I doubt you’ll have buds full of seeds. A lot of fear mongering goes on with intersex/herms as far as it pollinating an entire crop. Pollinating to max efficiency is like 100 seeds a gram. Point is - I doubt there’s an ass load of seeds unless you’ve actually pulled a few buds from different areas and seen them just totally full.. my guess is it’s probably something like a seed or two a gram. And the nature of intersex self pollination- is that it’s usually localized spots where it made male stamens that fertilized the female parts. So you may find a dozen in one little bud cuz it was right by the male part. That said you gotta decide what’s too much for you. Picking a few seeds is inconsequential to me.. now when it gets to be a couple dozen just to spin up a joint - that’s understandable. Hash is a good call tho, ice water is easy and from close friends I’ve heard dry ice is too.

i was looking at your setup you are working with pretty strong lights for your growspace, if you dimm the lights back to 65 percent ( way enough) you will see how plants relax, leaves become smooth without wrinkles, color stays green, and they grow with more internodial space.... and they are super chilled
