Was away for a bit and they started to wilt a bit. Thought it was going to get fixed and it sort of did but not as good as I had hoped. Preflowers on all the plant and have defoliated and given them more space now. Also started with more nutes. Happy holidaysยก

How do I prevent leggy seedlings? Mars Hydro tsl 2000 on 50% at 24 inch (60 cm). Fan spinning so wind blowing on it 50% the time. Also when do I transplant from 1 to 4 gallons? Thanks

Bring your lights down closer to her - maximum of 18"... if you're really concerned about her flopping over, you can either put a little stick (toothpick?) next to her and gently - with lots of wiggle room - tie her to it... OR you could add more soil around her so she's further into it... roots will start growing from the stem that's now under the soil. As far as transplanting autos, it's a really bad idea, especially for beginners.. it's a stressful "technique" and autos don't like that - next time, they should be germinated in the pot they're going to spend their whole life in... I'd just plan to grow her out in the 1 gallon myself... the problem is that if you wait until she has a decent root system (couple of weeks), she's going to be ready to go into pre-flower and you don't want to disturb that timing by shocking her with the transplant. Her soil also looks a bit dry but perhaps that's just when you took the photo... You should be watering in a fairly wide circle around her - not watering right up against the stem... this will encourage the roots to expand out as they seek water but will still moisten the soil right around the stem, not keeping it wet... And don't introduce nutes until she's about 2 weeks old... start her off at 1/4 strength to see how she tolerates them. You can increase the dosage the next week if all goes well... by week 3, you should be starting to give her a taste of bloom nutes, too.... Autoflowers are finicky but if you practice the "less is more" attitude with them, you'll do just fine. Good luck!

Hello, I have recently transplanted my green friends, is it time for me to start using nutes or should I wait for a bit after the transplant (possibly stunted)? Also I'm using spring water which is 0.0 EC, should I always use calmag to raise it up to 0.6 EC before adding nutes?

Odd, spring water is not normally 0.00EC may want to check the EC monitor to see if its working right. Spring water normally has mineral content of magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, and other trace minerals, maybe it is distilled or RO water?? Any who despite that first hiccup. it will all depend what your growing them in, soil, peat, coir and if its been fortified. Beware some things called potting soil mixes are not truly soil and are comprised of peat mostly. Mixes tend to be fortified for the first 2 weeks and won't need anything. I would check your mediums mix and confirm if it is fortified with any slow release or regular fertilizers before feeding more. Then if it is wait a bit, and if it is not, feed them a low amount. Just remember autos do not like strong feeds and its best to use 1/2 to 1/4 the recommended dose or make up the feed as per the label and then dilute it down with more water till you hit your desired EC if using liquid nutrients and adjust the PH. Dry amendments are a bit easier and can use 1/2 to 3/4 strength with PH'd water. Good Luck!

One of my plants has started yellowing, my pH/ec pen is broken but have been giving same as before 6-6.9ph,can it be lack of nutrients? It's been a little hot but nothing crazy. Other plant that got same water is looking great tho. Why is this one difrent? All answers appreciated

Should flushing have any runoff? Also how will they react when I flush and the pH has been to high? Was 7 and I put 6.1, 1.7L, got around 0.3L runoff. Also one girl isn't drinking, been 3 days and still wet whilst the others want more. Should I harvest her? Thanks Hard nice nugs

If you flush properly, you should have LOTS and LOTS of runoff... a flush is considered a flush when you've run 3x the pot volume of pH'd water through the pot... so if they're 3 gallon pots, you'd need to run 9 gallons of water through her - yeah, there should indeed be runoff! But if you're doing a slow, end of the grow flush, then there should also be some runoff - but that type of flush is done simply by giving her only water for the last week or so... If one lady isn't drinking anything, you may have some root problems or she may have been reacting to the high pH... If she's close to harvest but not harvestable yet, I'd just let her be... no need to harvest her early and don't give her any more water. Good luck....

I'm just finishing up a grow of this strain and I really the results ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Hope your grow turns out well for you ๐ŸŒฑ No prob with the low eighties for the little ones they like it warm and humid ,if you can raise the humidity a little for them at this stage it would be good also.

Looking good bro, those are some fat colas and you have the ruler out as a reciept to prove their fatness, I love it๐Ÿ˜ Also the yellowing of the leaves may not be a PH issue, it could be normal attrition during late flowering stages they start to suck up all the nutrients from the fan leaves, usually starting from the bottom up. I checked the breeders info on the strain you are growing and they show that Gorilla Cookies Auto flowers for 30 to 40 days. Looks like you are 4 weeks in so going by the breeders info you are close to the end of the cycle, which would lead me to believe the yellowing is normal. Great job on the grow so far and good luck with the rest of your grow!๐Ÿ’ช

@MrGrowthSpurt, Thanks, I appreciate that! Yeah I got a little sick of people just taking a photo with huge buds but it's just perception and on another picture you see that it's not really as big as thought before. Yeah I know they say it's 70 days from seed but I think that's just when the climate is perfect or when you can start to harvest as earliest but the most diaries on here all go to day 90 so I'm going to do that as well. I hope you are right tho. I would like the buds to get alot bigger, hoping for it at least. Gonna try to balance the pH with my new meter and make it all right again. Thanks for your input and for the good luck, I'm gonna need it! ๐Ÿ˜
