Germinated 6 seeds only 1 survived but it looks like a strong one, Going to go ahead and do a single plant grow, planning on topping once and LST for 16 tops.
Started LSTing this week. I decided to not top this plant and just see how well it does by just pulling the main cola down. I'm going to trellis and keep a SCROG a soon as I get this into a bigger pot!
The past 4 weeks have been super smooth. The canopy has been rising slowly, and I think the stretch is over after 4 weeks. Looking forward to the next 4 weeks. Tops are getting close to the light, but I'm running it at 70%, checked with my meter its right at 900ppfd in the middle, so I think i'm doing okay. No signs of light stress like last couple grows. Thanks to the UNI-T bluetooth par meter and PPFD meter app on android! I figured out the trick to keeping the canopy even, here i'm using lollipopping and an upside down marionette technique. The trellis keeps the tops spaced out, but I can pull individual branches down to even it out if one seems to be over achieving. Keeping it all organic, ammended with bone meal and kelp meal from down to earth. Using a little bit of big bloom organic tea, and blackstrap molasses in very small amounts. I am mulching with defoliated leaves, had a little bit of a fungus gnat outbreak, but the sticky traps are keeping them at bay.
9 weeks of veg! This plant was showing some really bad transplant stress. I think the soil I up-potted into was recently amended and probably a little hot, and had no microbial activity. If you look closely after about 30 days things started getting much better, and by the end of 2 months we were on track for flowering with a nice canopy! Looking forward to the final 8-9 weeks! Stay Tuned!
