11/26 Mixed the biochar and EWC up with some molasses, flour, and rock dust.
12/5 Added 1 canna brick (rehydrated with 2 gallons of distilled water), 2 gallons of Fox Farm Coco Loco, and 1 gallon of perlite to the biochar. After mixing I added ½ cup of each: Oyster Shell, Azomite, glacial rock dust, Dolomite Lime, Gaia Green All purpose, Gaia Green Power Bloom. This was all mixed together and set off to the side while I wait for the tent to be free. Dropped both Mephisto’s Wedding and Sour Stomper into shot glasses.
12/6 Tent cleaned, light reinstalled, seeds moved into paper towels. Tomorrow should be planting day.
12/7 Coco medium added to 5 gallon pots, seeds placed in the pots, humidity domes added, and light set to 180 PAR / 13 DLI with a 20/4 light schedule.
12/9 Both poked up today with helmet head. Sprayed them with water and let sit for a bit, then carefully removed the casing. Tomorrow will be day 1.
Do you have a PAR map from the manufacturer that you can compare to the readings you are getting? Would help you know if meter is bad before spending cash on a new one.
They're looking pretty darn good!
@Grow_for_Happiness, Thanks for that! That's a really good idea that I hadn't thought of, but looking at the website it only gives numbers at 100% power in a 4x2 tent. I don't think that will help me a bunch right now in a 3x2 at some mid range power level. But something in the chain is definitely wrong. Either the Sour Stomper is SUPER sensitive light (which I didn't think was the case), my PAR meter is giving me inaccurate information, or the DLI chart that pops right up after a google search and plenty of people have recommended to me is off (at least for my particular situation). Either way I'll keep light levels a lot lower than what I was going to be using and see how things go.
