Week 5 Veg
These girls are showing a bit of damage from having a bad pH so they were given a maintenance flush to reset the pH to the correct level, in order to be them feeding again. Any time I've noticed something wrong with my plants it's always been because of their pH. So before anything else, this must be corrected. It's annoying as it's because of a new pen I have, that I constantly have to calibrate yet it's been reading a very wrong reading every time it's used. With that being the case I've gone back to my old pen! On a positive note I did want to keep them small and stunt them for a bit as I was short on space, so it's kind of helped me in a way!
On day 35 they were all transplanted into their final pots, which are 2gal Root Pouches. After transplanting, they were fed a lighter strength feeding as to ensure not to burn their root tips and stress them further. All are looking healthy by the end of the week. I decided to top #3, and will LST the others so they don't get too much taller.
Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
@skidmarx, cheers mate 👊 I hope you enjoy the journey! Nice, I bet that makes things easier haha. I've found that my RO is more acidic, and after adding Remo's Nutrients it lowers it to around 5pH, so I've actually been using pH up more than anything! Which was unexpected. If there's silicon in the mix however, then it does rise to around 6.5-7pH. I've also noticed that it takes an unbelievable amount less to adjust down. Only a drop will drastically change even large volumes of my RO! ✌️🦊
