8.15.18 - Just received my seeds in the mail! Love the stealth packaging by the way! 👍 Got 5 seeds, testing out one just to see how she grows. I will be ordering a LED light system for the other 4 seeds. I will also be using SCROG method on the other 4. Just need to see how well she grows and takes to FIMMING and LST'ing first! Want to personally thank MSNL for a timely delivery! Wish me luck! _____________________________________________ Do Not Hate. Educate and Cultivate! 👽💪😀😎😜

9.19.18 - Transplanted today. switching back to my 400watt HPS, Just going to supplement with the PAR450 L.E.D. Big thanks to, grower_not_shower, for his help. 9.14.18 - Dunno if its cause this is my first LED grow or what but it is just taking forever for me to get any kind of action going from my sprout. My last few grows done under a 400 watt HPS by the third week I had attained my second node and had a nice sized girl going... I have no idea why this one is taking forever to do anything... hmmm. I have my dimming switches turned up correctly. blue100% white100% red 25%... Ive had this overwhelming feeling ever since I switched to LED that it just wouldnt grow a healthy plant like my HPS SunDevil would... Are my frightful thoughts coming true??? oh no!!! lol Dunno... hopefully she blows up soon. Was really looking forward to these GDP's 9.7.18 - Keepin the cup moist with a wee bit of coconut water and a half cup of water every two days or so when it gets dry. Seems to be taking to this early feeding of just coconut water mixed with reg water... If you look you can even see a purple hint to her sucker leaves and her first set of leaves. Hopefully her two sisters will germ soon also. Going to transplant them all to my custom made patented MeowRoot Express Buckets, LOL!! I personally only like transplanting once during there life span. From the dixie germ cup straight to my tall yellow buckets. I find its perfect for a sturdy root base with autos. Keep on the look out for updates. As I have been told the coconut water makes them blow up! _______________________________ Do Not Hate, Educate and Cultivate!

10.01.2018 *Has bounced back a lot more since previously mentioned transplanted and started on a regular feeding schedule. Really digging this NPK Raw line. Can see definite signs of its overall superiority too previously used base nutrients and micro/macro supplements. Think I may have actually been able to save the second one from far more yield loss than the first which I am sad to say I already see signs of flowering with. 😭 I had already expected this outcome after realizing that I was seriously underfeeding the seedlings with just the PAR450. Live and learn. So I set up my HPS400 to supplement and they work quite nicely together. GDP #2 Looks like I might be able to get her to branch out quite alot more before she starts to bloom.😵 This is why I keep a detailed grow journal aside from this here website. I find that on paper works better for me. Its really something I suggest any one of you should seriously consider starting as a habit if you are interested in long term growing. Especially if you care to get into genetics/breeding and the likes. Two feedings and 4 waterings down and no signs yet of any trouble so I hope it remains this way. 😀👽😷 9.27.2018 *Moved them under an additional 400watts of beautiful food via HPS fixture sporting an HPS 400watt SunMax bulb. *Transplanted them into large 5-gallon tall Buckets(first and final transplant). Have shown definite signs of rebound from the stunted growth I experienced the first two weeks. I am going to roll with it as they look fairly healthy to me. Will undoubtedly pay in final yield down the road but its all about learning so let us see what happens, shall we? 😀👽😷 PS - Started a newer feeding regime as I invested in a new product line that a friend suggested. Will still use a few AdvancedNutrients line to supplement. You also might notice the little sproutling growing aside one of them in the pic. This was an accidental seed drop. I will be removing it shortly. ___________________________________ Do Not Hate, Educate and Cultivate! ______ ___ _

10.08.2018 Yes, I was most certainly correct when I had thought to myself they must be two separate phenotypes, cause they are! That is fairly evident. Otherwise looking really good. I've started to slowly incorporate bloom nutes into the weekly feeding as GDP#1 is already showing signs of flower. GDP# 2 is a whole different beast altogether and when I say beast I do mean BEAST! She has Developed and is developing fan leafs the size of my open hand. Freakin Huge! UUUUUGE! Getting really excited to see what she will be like in full bloom. I am madly inlove with everything that is cannabis. I love cultivating! 😜😍👽💪 10.04.2018 Looking really good. I introduced an exhale bag of CO2 yesterday and saw a serious increase in growth overnight! Starting to see side branches pop out and everything appears to be healthy. Both plants are really really enjoying this new feeding regime and eating it up at every feeding. Monday - Feed Wednesday - Water Friday - Feed Saturday/Sunday - Water Has been my schedule and so far very good results. They have both exploded with growth. Can't wait to see the end result! 😀😷👽😎 PS - I am Fimming GDP #1 today. Will not do this to the second plant. Want to see the difference in the overall outcome. Will keep you updated as always. ___________________________________ Do Not Hate, Educate and Cultivate! ______ ___ _

My apologies for taking so long to update. Have been quite busy as of late. Both plants are coming along. Starting to stack up calyxes nicely. The sweet grape smell in the air every time I open my tent up. Frosting nicely also. PS - Will try and keep updated more frequent. 😎 ___________________________________ Do Not Hate, Educate and Cultivate! ______ ___ _

11.4.18 Starting to swell up nicely. Absolutely covered in sweet candy trichomes! They are about 50% white/cloudy so am almost at the finish line. The smell of sweet grapes has filled my room every time I open tent, not complaining just very happy I have a carbon filter setup. Not going to be a very heavy yield but I have a feeling it will be some very dank dank bud for sure. 😎 ___________________________________ Do Not Hate, Educate and Cultivate! ______ ___ _

11.12.18 Gave her the last nutrient feed last night. Going further will only be watering. I am following suggested flower time from the breeder of 8-10 weeks. I have been watching trichomes and they are about 40% white/cloudy atm, almost standing completely straight up. Her sister I had to chop down two days ago because she suddenly popped 80% amber trichomes overnight. She is currently hanging up to dry in my other tent. Frosted over like a snocone! Looks and smells absolutely delicious, like sweet sweet grapes and berries. She was a slightly different phenotype than the current one that is still in the soil. Buds smaller and more compact not as leafy. Will update on smoke when she has fully dried and I cured for a week or so. 😎 ___________________________________ Do Not Hate, Educate and Cultivate! ______ ___ _

11.19.18 I have been flushing her for two weeks now. Using the Yucca and Cane Molasses to supercharge the microbes and burn them out. Also, have been packing fresh snow from mother nature around her base and her purple tones and trichomes have been popping like crazy. I think I will be chopping her down today or tomorrow. Has been interesting grow for sure. I made some key mistakes here and there but I certainly learned a lot. If you are looking for a really easy to grow Grand Daddy Purple I would highly recommend this auto strain from MSNL. I won these seeds via a contest from them and it has been a great grow for sure. They also sell photo periods which I will be picking up to test. https://www.marijuana-seeds.nl/auto-gdp-feminized 😎 ___________________________________ Do Not Hate, Educate and Cultivate! ______ ___ _

Was fairly easy to grow, however, I myself experienced two phenotypes and my friend whom I gave a seed to try experienced what amounted to both of my phenos wrapped in one. His is the better of the three. The first one I grew was laden with small compact light and very airy buds although heavily coated with trichomes. The second was massively leafy so much so that I was quite worried about mold throughout the entire grow and harvest. Now my friends was a healthy mix of the two and came out far better than my two. Suffice it to say I am still very pleased with the strain and its oddball genetics. Not being comprised of your typical GDP genetics, MSNL certainly adds there own flavor/twist to the famous strain. All in all, I would definitely recommend this strain for newbie growers and seasoned alike. It would best be grown in a SOG setup as the plant stays short and very compact.
