Standard sprouting, soaked the seeds in water for 24 hours then onto paper towel in a sealed plastic box in the dark. White LSD sprouted within 12 hours, Do Si Dos took another 6 hours. In the soil with thoughts and prayers!

All good, they really shot up over the last 24 hours, looks like another strong start from MSNL genetics. Just dripping them with water each morning. I planted directly in the living soil bucket but used a cup-sized plug of plain potting soil so that they can go through the delicate seedling stage with nice cool soil, then once their big-girl roots hit the organic hot soil they can whoosh. Worked well last time so hoping for another good time!

Happy with their progress, just upping the water but no nutes going in as yet. They've both really popped up from the surface and spreading out nicely. I want to try LST and scrogging this batch so looking forward to that.

My Dos-Si-Dos is showing some tiny white spots over her second and third leaf pairs, anything to worry about? I'm not noticing any pests.

I'll tell you right now, it's NOT due to water droplets... not at all! If that was the case, the spots would be getting brown and crispy (although it's NOT a good idea to let water droplets sit on the leaves). What you've got is some kind of insect that sucks the life out of your plants.... and it doesn't matter whether it's aphids or spider mites or thrips or whiteflies... they all do the same damage and they all need to be gotten rid of. Grab yourself some Dr. Zymes Eliminator or some Spinosad and use as directed... you'll need to spray the tops and the bottoms of all leaves and it's best to do that just before lights out... Just another recommendation here - you need to be watering her a lot more... at her size, the entire pot needs to be watered, not just the small area around her... those roots are growing quickly and they won't grow well in dry soil so help them out by getting all of it wet when you give either water or nutes... the roots will grow out to get it! Looking good - and getting rid of the pests at this stage will be pretty easy... but you MUST get rid of them! Good luck!

My first LST and really hoping I got it right...seemed easier with White LSD to see the bud sites and tuck accordingly, Do-Si-Dos is a bit more cryptic right now but hoping it does something. Watering around 1L each plant every two days, will start top dressing organic flower feed once the bud sites really come in.

How did I do with my first LST attempt? I know it's a bit of an artform but one looks a lot prettier than the other! I was trying to bend them over and tuck to expose all the likely budding sites to light. Anything I should do differently? Thanks!

So far, so good! If I were you, I'd let them grow out a bit before doing more - you're getting quite a bushy thing there and the worry is the leaves all rather mashed together which will give you trouble if your space is too humid so make sure you've got your fans going at least gently ... I don't see that you're recording humidity and that's something you should measure and be aware of... the other thing I see in your diary is that your pH is a bit too high... yes, they say to grow cannabis between a pH of 6.0 and 7.0 but the mid-range of that is better - and as you get into flowering, you're going to want to lower it even more - between 6.0 and 6.3... But you're looking good and going strong! Good luck the rest of the way!

Very happy with this week, I've been strict about watering and they've responded incredibly well to a bit of thirst. LST seems to have done wonders for Whitey, really looking forward to seeing her stretch now. DSD has also come on a lot, less rampant than Whitey but healthy and less bushy, better spread out now. No sign of any pests or mould anywhere as yet. Committed to a living soil grow with no added nutes.

Busy week! Switched them around, because lefty always seems to do better than righty in this tent. So I switched them and raised Dos-Si-Dos on a little platform to equalise the heights. Got the screen in place about 5 days ago and defoliated a couple of times to clear out some of the under-foliage. Both looking strong and healthy, drinking like crazy, no pests, no mould so far. Happy days.

I put a Scrog net in and over two days defoliated most of the leaves and small stems below the screen, also took out just a few leaves from the canopy that were obviously shadowing bud sites. Should I be thinning the canopy even more?

Looking good! The canopy looks great, just keep an eye out for leaves covering bud sites and you'll be golden. Getting the trellis net height right was an interesting journey for me. I found, contrary to popular belief, that you want your net as close to the pot as possible. I shoot for 6" so it easy for me to get my hands and forearms under it if I need to. I wish I would've known this when I was doing my outside scrog, but you know what they say about hindsight. There's a guy on YouTube called The Northern Scrogger. I recommend checking him out. Also, here's a link to my outdoor scrog. Good week! Trimmed a bit more from both plants but nothing major. Top dressed with guano and vermiculite and they seemed to enjoy it, apart from very slight nute burn on Whitey, I just had to snip 2 leaves. Otherwise still looking healthy and buds are beginning to stack up on both! Happy days.

Happy girls! Just been tucking and trimming the odd leaf here and there, watering every three days. Drinking about 2.5 litres each watering until run off. Still zero bottled nutes, the living soil is doing wonders. I top dressed with guano and vermiculite last week and will try them with a little molasses for pud puds tomorrow. Yay!

Uh oh. I fed them a bit of molasses, just once, with their regular watering (1tbsp per 2.5 litres) and suddenly they're not looking optimal. Had to trim off a few leaves that had brown spots and generally both are looking a little faded. Just running clean pH adjusted water to run off, pH of soil and runoff is OK, so hoping I can rectify it.

Organic living soil, top dressed once w guano and vermiculite at start of flower. Last week fed with molasses and now have some yellowing on the upper leaves, some brown spots on top leaves, and red stems on one. No bottled nutes. Burn or deficiency?

Deficiencies... calcium and potassium .. and I think phosphorus is headed your way as well... If you're not doing bottled nutes, look into bone meal and Langbeinite for your P and K ... I've used Langbeinite 0-0-22 before but it doesn't dissolve easily so I used one tablespoon as a top dress once a month throughout the grow... Good luck!

Bit the bullet and went with nutes, and the yellowing has completely gone. Still a few leaves with brown spots but overall looking much better. Buds are stacking well but nowhere near as large or dense as I'd like. Were into the last couple of weeks now so checking with my scope everyday and hoping for a bit more fatness. Happy days!

Getting there! Buds are firming up now on the Dos Si Dos and getting pretty heavy. I'll go for a staged harvest, taking the main cola of DSD and maybe a couple of other towers. Whitey is likely going to need a bit more time after I chop her sister but we'll see how it goes. Feeding CalMag and Overdrive every other water. The smell is overpowering :)

Absolute stinkers! Not seeing as much swelling on lefty (dos si dos) and the buds are really firming up. Still mostly glassy on the trichomes. Righty (white LSD) needs to do some swelling. Considering snipping the central cola structure from lefty as soon as it gets cloudy and swapping the plants over, as the left position seems to work wonders, maybe that will help white LSD finish strong.

Creeping up to chop time. Dos si dos looks closer, trichomes starting to cloud, see pics. White LSD buds smaller, glassy and less tight. Good idea to chop middle out of lefty as soon as it's cloudy, open up more space for righty? Will it help righty swell up or is it too late?

You got a bit of time left to go, 7 to 10 days check again, 80% cloudy and you'll be at peak THC if you allow them to go longer you'll get a heady lazier heavy buzz the more amber you let them go, if you're not flushing you should be on just water now until the end, I wouldn't cut anything away you'll just slowdown growth and add stress for no reason...Just be patient and let them do their thing..They look good don't listen to anyone telling ya to chop at the plant, adding stress at the finish line isn't good

Overall very pleased with the yield of 99g dry weight! But it could have been more. I sadly lost 4 whole branches to bud rot right before harvest. Luckily I was able to cut it out and all the harvested buds look fine. Wet-trimmed and dried at 55% RH for 7 days, now in the jars - will update with a vape report when it's cured.

Very pleased with this. 124g trimmed and dried is a good return for this plant and it was an exciting grow. Really bulked up in the last couple of weeks. I lost one big cola to bud rot, but otherwise it's been a dream. Still looking frosty so I'm really looking forward to trying this one. Very happy with this grow!
