This is not an accurate score as my result was poor due to personal error. If I enjoy the effects of the Grape Diamonds, I will definitely grow her again as she is one of the terpiest girls I've grown. Even though I stressed the plant out and put her through a deficiency, her buds turned out nice. Frosty, terpy, good density. Only have had the chance to smoke her a few times but from what I've had, she feels like a balanced hybrid.

Chopped her on 3/24 after 114 days of growing. She spent 11 days drying in the tent for a perfect dry. The humidity in the jars is 58-62 which is perfect. To summarize, I'm pretty disappointed with this grow. As you've seen, both the Grape Diamonds and Bubba Kush were hit with a pretty bad potassium deficiency right before flower and it definitely effected the quality and yield of the buds. I got 1.5oz on both cultivars, which is less than half of what I normally pull with this tent and light. That being said, the quality of the Grape Diamonds is still pretty good. As you can see the top buds are of medium size and very frosty. Moving the bud around in the light you can see the sparkle of the trichomes and the smell is out of this world. The Grape Diamonds is very terpy and the aroma is top tier with it being similar to a strong, artificial grape smell. Out of the two plants, the Grape definitely performed and bounced back the best. Despite the Grape showing signs of deficiency first, she was pretty vigorous and bounced back pretty well. I stressed the fuck out of this plant and abused her and she still rewarded me with decent buds. If I enjoy the effect of the Grape Diamonds I will definitely be growing her again with the intent to grow her to her full potential. While I don't want to rate this cultivar (as I achieved a subpar harvest via user error) I will say that Ethos is legit and has some fire genetics. She may be a keeper. The buds are more dense than fluff and range from small to medium size. Bud to leaf ratio was solid and trimming her wasn't too bad. Jarred the buds with 1.5oz on the scale. What could I have done better this grow? 1. Feed dry amendments earlier (in this case, 2 weeks earlier). 2. Give her more soil via bigger pot (7 gallon to 10 gallon). 3. Use better dry amendments (moving on from Down to Earth to BuildaSoil Craft Blend.) That's about it. I'm glad this grow is over. 17 weeks for a measly 1.5 ounce of usable bud is pathetic. I would have been better off vegging for half the time and would have probably gotten a better result. That being said, you live and you learn. I will adjust and get better for future organic only grows. :D

It seems like my Grape Diamonds may have a possible K deficiency. Edges of leaves are starting to fade and brown with the veins staying green. Lower leaves seems to be greener and they're showing signs of the K deficiency but not as bad. Would appreciate your thoughts, thanks!

I’m not a full time organic grower tho I do have experience with it and understand it pretty well. Could just be showing up in the one plant first and it will show up later in the other.. I’d definitely up that kelp meal and try to source something with more K without other ingredients.. or at least something with a solid amount of PK and less N. (For when you flip to flower) Langbienite looks like a pure K source from down to earth. Maybe even azomite? Grape diamonds is a terpy girl man, I’ve run the cross with it planet of the grapes.

Well boys I done fucked up. Got a major K deficiency (since fed them). Didn't want to save them with liquid nutes as I'm trying organics. Assuming they live (I think the Bubba may have bounced back?) should I try to get a harvest or should I just pull them now? 1 week into flip.

Whether or not you try to save them or pull them is going to be your decision here.... but if you want to try to save them organically, use some Langbeinite ... with an NPK of 0-0-22, it will get that K to them! Normally, when growing in soil, I use it as a top-dress (1 tablespoon once a month) throughout the grow as it is difficult to dissolve...but it IS possible to dissolve it - just needs to be ground up to a fine powder and then bubbled in water for 24 hours (I'll give a link at the bottom here)... Personally, I'd put the effort into it because this looks like it would be a great grow and there IS a lot of life left in those plants.... it's a weed, after all, and it doesn't particularly want to just give up the ghost when something goes wrong. Here's the link I promised... at the very bottom, it will tell you how to make it more quickly available to your grow in a nutrient tea: https://www.organicgardeningsolutions.com.au/products/langbeinite Good luck!
