Doktor_Greenthumb After trying for about 3 - 4 weeks to get the approximately 3-year-old seeds to germinate, it seems that on the night of Christmas Eve to the first day of Christmas, Jesus himself flew by the lab to finally get the ladies to sprout. 😇
So far, so good. I put the seeds in rock wool cubes, added clay pebbles to the net pots, and off they went under my upgraded lights (2 x 200 W). 😎
I temporarily added a few ml to my nutrient tank, which is about 40-50 liters full; that should be more than enough for the first week. Also, I added a few drops of Clonex (root hormone) to speed up the rooting process. This stuff is not just good for cutting clones.
I initially adjusted the pH roughly overnight, and once everything is well mixed, I'll make sure to adjust the pH accurately. The EC value of my water is about 0.4.

Doktor_Greenthumb Since one of the 3 sprouted ladies broke off while I was planting the rock wool cube, I put a few more seeds to germinate between 2 plates. So far, one has sprouted, which I planted in the tent today. I hope with God's help that another seed starts to root in the next 3 to 4 days, as I planned to have 4 plants in my tent. Otherwise, the water has now stabilized at the pH level I wanted, and the basement is still relatively warm. I always keep the heating rod in the water just in case, so the nutrient solution doesn't drop too far below the critical 20 degrees when the lights are off. 18 to 17 degrees is totally fine for the nutrient solution; I've never had problems with the temperature of my water. I estimate that in a week, the ladies will look a bit better; the two older ones are currently forming their first pair of leaves and the first roots are sticking out of the rock wool cubes.

Doktor_Greenthumb So a fourth lady has finally joined the Stizzle as you can see. I'm surprised that the one with a week's delay isn't lagging behind the other two who are a week older; on the contrary. She looks way better, growing straight towards the light, and the roots are already doing well. I haven't done anything special and hope that by week 3 we'll finally see some leaf growth.
The new calibration solution for the EC device is also on the way, so everything will be running pretty accurately again.

Doktor_Greenthumb From now on, things are going to move quickly, but the one on the back left, which is growing all crooked, is lagging behind. Just 1 to a maximum of 2 weeks until I start the flowering to avoid such a drastic height growth. You should definitely check out my videos on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-xrM6WQP6ONHHPi0LWioqw

Doktor_Greenthumb All the ladies are fully in juice, even the crippled one in the back right has straightened out by now. Forrest Gump style.
In the next few days, I'll top the 3 bigger ones so that one can catch up a bit and I don't run into a height problem.
So far, the nodes are so tight that the day of the optimal timing is still to come.

Doktor_Greenthumb So the hot last week before the flowering phase begins.
I had a pH level of 6.4 - 6.5 for a few days because I miscalculated how much pH Up to pour in and couldn't wait for the 50 liters to distribute in the nutrient reservoir due to lack of time. Well, it's not that bad, as experienced non-forum readers know, the plants can survive quite a bit.
By week 6, the ladies should shine in lush green like I'm used to.
I've topped all except the one in the back left, since that one is already lagging behind, and I don't think it will grow that tall anyway.
So it has a week to catch up a bit with its 3 siblings.
I pray that the height stays somewhat in check since I can't raise the LEDs all the way up because of the carabiners at the top.
It would be nice if tents with 2.20m or 2.50m height would finally hit the market, but somehow the manufacturers don't seem to really keep up with the genetics market where plants over 1.60m are no longer a rarity.

Doktor_Greenthumb The topping is well done, only the leaf color is still not juicy, but that's not a big deal. By now, the 4 girls have grown into real ladies waiting to move up to the upscale milf stage.
I initiated the flowering phase today; the timer is now ticking differently. Instead of 12 hours of light, I'm giving them only 11 hours to speed things up a bit since a 10-week flowering phase is already quite long.
I'm now keeping the fan running continuously because it gets too humid without it. I think that's due to the two LEDs, which generate quite a bit of heat, which is still clear for an LED.

Doktor_Greenthumb The one on the back right has turned into a beast by now, while the one on the back left seems to have gotten too little water to the roots. It looked like the misting head was a bit clogged again and couldn't spray as far as it should have when I checked in on the fog chamber.
Let's wait and see over the next few days; the two new shoots from the topping on the front right unfortunately haven't made it above the rest, but I hope that changes so they can get some decent light. Overall, I'm not too fond of the one on the front right; the new shoots are relatively light and droopy, but we'll see. Hemp can take quite a bit, even if forum dummies see it differently, but it's two different worlds whether you actually do something or just write about something you've never done because you're afraid of it. I like the risk; even with fertilizing, I put in way more than these people say I should.
Now that the flowering phase has started, this is also reflected in the water consumption. The ladies must have drunk about 15 to 20 liters last week; the nutrient tank was already very, very low, so I topped it up with another 10 liters until I check back in the next two days.
There's still some room for growth, which surprises me, but with the two LEDs, they're not stretching at all; it was always different when I only had one LED, and I think that's why they're not shooting up so much right now. Of course, the topping also plays a role, which I usually never do.
The right row is touching a bit now, but in week 7, that's fine; the girls are old enough for a little catfight.
So, as always, it remains exciting.

Doktor_Greenthumb No idea why the ladies are still hanging and have unhealthy discolorations. According to the internet, it could be 3 different deficiencies, which is why the new shoots are light green, dying off, and old leaves are turning brown in the middle and, let's say, drying out.
I'm keeping an eye on a stable pH level of 6-6.3 and hope they finally pull through. I could also dump some phosphorus or nitrogen or boron in there like an idiot, but whether that would help is also up in the air since too much fertilizer can block absorption.
It's strange; I've been growing for years and have never had problems, only with Gorilla Glue once back when they first hit the market and now.
High-bred American strains just can't compare to high-quality genetics from Holland.
If anyone has an idea of what can be done to help the ladies achieve a healthy green, feel free to send me a message.

@Polygus,Don't worry 17 degrees water temperature doesn't bother them I say always try it is about forum posts study Kasper posts if people had their way I'd be the worst grower but I've always had very good results in the 6 years I've been here hehe
My wtf grow pulled that root move, it was a weird grow from start to finish, didn't get as much as I would have liked though, too bad, it's smells amazing and is 🔥 good luck 🤞
