Potted Dec 8th. Sprayed once with dr zymes and they’re looking pretty bad since 10 days. Light is at 50% and only feeding when dry. 18/6 light schedule. Feeding 6 ph water with hydro guard and root innaculant. Added carbon exhaust and outtake fan 12/19 The flower tent has thrips. Working on getting rid of them in that tent as those have been separated. Haven’t topped yet, going to veg for 4-5 weeks before adding to flower tent.

Moved one of the head knocks to the flower tent to see how it does. The light in there is awesome and it’s about 85 degrees in there. Moved the light to about 24 inches over the plants in the veg tent. The plants look like they’re getting light strain and bleaching bc the green is fading except for the veins. I’ve also turned the veg light down to 75% in hopes the plants recover. Really wanna dial in that tent bc I can’t seem to get a good veg going in there. I have the seedlings that will need to be moved over there in the next few weeks and I want it to be sorted for the next round of veg. The carbon fan is pulling out stale air but also all humidity. I’ve added a bowl of water with lyca with a light above it to create a humid environment. Growing companion plants in the dome right now. Basil, lemon balm, lavender and peppermint. Going well. Keeping them separate. Update 12/30: Don’t think these plants liked the calmag too much after a couple days. I diluted the solution and ph balanced to 6.2. Everyone seems happy now. Continuing w HG for root and microbial health. Plants in flower tent have begun to show trucha and flower but just barley. All plants seemed to have recovered from the light strain and are back on track. These plants are all being lst’d. Tying to make a sog as they grow and super crop if I can. Plants are way too small tho now but hopefully during the next four to six weeks I can make something cool happen. I FIMd the head knock and also pinched/bent the top cola on every grow site that was mature enough to get the one behind to shoot up. Will continue this technique through flower to experiment and get higher yeild w small plants. Veg tent: plants are recovering and starting to grow. They have been going straight up so I figured it was a good time to top them and you can see 8 hours after topping they have begun to already show signs of bushing out. The sobawak was getting too tall so I bent the main stalk to even the growth in the tent. I replaced the HK that I moved to flower with the white widow seed that was doing really well in the hydro. Unfortunately I don’t think I mixed the soil and perité enough and I think it might be too thick for rapid growth and not arid enough. The WW has experienced a little shock and stopped growing as rapid as it previously was in the hydro - but I am confident with its genetics and lack of light stress it’s going to be the best plant of this harvest, I’ve just got a feeling because it looks so healthy. The other seedlings that were in the hydro begun to get root rot in the hydro so I moved them into the super rooter dome w the T5 light. Will update on that diary.

We’re back in the veg tent! Plants have made a a full recovery and we’re getting new growth on all of the plants. Light is at a fair distance now and I’ve got it back up to 85/90%. Bent the sabowaka to even the canopy. It recovered well and it’s growing a bunch new grow sights. Super cropping by pinching in the veg tent. Flower tents starting to show thricomes. Everything in that tent is doing really well, watching closely for too much light I keep it at 85% and I’m slowly raising it. Update 1/5: Thrips came back w a vengeance in flower tent. Doing IPM with Dr Zymes daily for three days hoping to kill them off bc they’ve torn apart the secret scone, not sure it will make it. Starting to spread to mandarin cookie as wel

Definitely has thrips and has been through the wringer. Trashed the other four plants I started it with when I bought 9/30. This plant should’ve been harvested by now but I kept stringing it along and causing it problems. It’s the middle of the three plants in the flower tent.

Hello. Here's a old hack for the thrips. Take Almond, Peppermint or Lemon Balm oil (the same oils used for aroma therapy) and put 10 to 20 drops in 1 cup of water. Add some liquid dish soap about 5 to 10 drops and mix. Put some out in small trays (or plastic lids) Buy the oils where you buy the incense. They often have the flavored/scented oils in small bottles with a drip spout. Have you tried the yellow sticky traps yet. You showed a 20% RH, are your plants living in that. Plants have a hard time breathing (transpiring) at below 35% RH. I would like to see more humidity in your tent for the plants sake. Even putting a tray of water in there would help with bringing the RH up. Those 2 thing would really help your plants. Chuck.

Veg tent is doing great growing well and hopefully gearing up for a 1/22 flip for all of the clones. Will be focusing on prebloom efforts next week for headknock and barnyard apples. Honestly might even go a week longer since they’re my best plants to get some good veg going. All of the plants recovered from the super cropping I was doing and we’ve got great growth. Unfortunately I began to have a thrip issue in the other tent and must have brought them into the other room after pruning the infected plants. Because of that I brought sabwoka over to bloom 1/13 with the other infected plants. I’ve noticed that headknock is fine but mandarin cookie is starting to get thrips. Secret scone is severely infected and I pruned the hell out of it today. I sprayed the hell out of the plants today w dr zymes, bought some Spinosad by montery today, put out trays of peppermint and dish soap and lemon balm mixed to catch them, buying ladybugs tomorrow to introduce to the tents to get rid of thrips. Wil be good for fungus gnats in the house plant tent as well.

Updating a couple days late. Should’ve been on Sunday the 25th and this is the 18th. Took a couple days off and went to the mtns for the weekend. I over watered and turned down the lights to about 30%. Left Friday afternoon and came back 48 hours later and plants were very happy! I am noticing thrips in the veg tent. I got some spinosad and I’m waiting for the lady bugs I bought to show up so I can hit them with both at the same time. Everything is very happy. I am going flip the headknock and barnyard to flower at the end of the week so I’m going into prebloom with them. I noticed resinous calyx’s on the headknock yesterday also in the flower tent it’s the only one w calyx’s. Mandarins getting bushy - need to defóliate maybe? Headknock flower is bangin! Getting frosty already. Starting to see trichs on the sabowaka also.

1/23/23 Well everything’s in flower now so I’m changing the journal to flower in the perpetual garden. Added humidifier. I top dressed everything w buildasoil top dress and build a bloom. Watering everything w the Q watering agent as well. It’s all taking off beautifully. I tossed a buncha lady bugs in there to help w the thrips. Also got spinosad but not sure if I can use it now with the lady bugs. We’ll see how it goes this week. Mandarin cookie Doing well, bushing out and up more. Stopped lst bc it’s getting very bushy and I need to defoliate. But waiting until there’s more stretch bc it’s a small little bush and I don’t want to take away too many fan leaves bc they have thrips. Would rather allow for more light to be absorbed. Head knock Looking like the best one after it was the safest! So much flower so many trichs. Fan leaves are all sorts of colors. It’s really poppin off. I defóliate da but so the lower flowers could pop through and they’re really colorful. I’d grow this guy again for sure. Might actually see it there are anymore clones avail. Headknock 2 We got big in veg. Defoliated a bit and got it to a great place before moving to flower tent. But ultimately I’m ready to flip it even if it’s kinda smaller than I’d want. Probably need a stronger light in veg tent to keep them up to par when moving to flower. Pre bloomed and moved to flower. Haven’t seen any trichs but it’s only been in flower since Sunday. Secret scone Finally looking like it’s supposed to with happy buds and flowers coming along. Thrips really. Did some damage to this guy and he went thru it with all the mishaps since September. Finally looking good. Sabowaka Tepremental little bitch. Starting to show trichs. Gave it too much water and it was sitting next to humidifier tube so old growth was not looking too hot. Cutting back in water bc he wonders drink fast enough. As Barnyard apples Got massive in veg just like headknock. Really happy with it and can’t wait to see how it flowers over the next month.

1/30/23 The tent is happy and flowering beautifully. This week I started using spinosad to get rid of thrips. The lady bugs have been helping so far but they aren’t killing all of them and they are dying fast. All plants doing well, no big issues to report. I have noticed that the two that I brought in last week were a little shocked by the higher light and had some photo issues and turned light green. But they’re recovering.

2/11/23 Oops skipped a week. I went on vacation for 5 days and I was worried about what would happen if I wasn’t doing daily care. In order to manage I put straw as a mulch layer for all of the plants in flower tent. Also put the light down to 50%. This was good because they didn’t require as much water and with the lower lights I noticed they grew exponentially in the five days and are now very happy. I gave them all a defoliation as they were getting over grown with their old fan leaves and I wanted to get light across the uneven canopy. What I thought was thrips has turned into be spider mites! I noticed webs when I got back on the secret scones plant, like bad. I was really tempted to just cut and cut losses. But everything I’ve read negates that. The lady bugs are eating some but they aren’t on that plant so I’ve bought more and I will be introducing them all on that plant. Besides that everything is looking great! Even the companion plants which we are going to make tea out of in a few months. Basil was trained and topped and it’s producing very well! Worried about the entire tent mitigation with the spider mites. I want to continue to introduce more plants from veg tent but I don’t want to introduce them to spider mites. I’ve noticed they haven’t taken over the other plants completely but they’re slowly moving to them. I am using dr zymes and spinosad rotation for ipm, haven’t tried neem as we’re flowering. Let me know if you have any ideas.

2/18 Chopped secret scone. Washed buds and they’re drying in dark in 45-60% humidity. Added lots of lady bugs and spraying with spinosad. Moved the headknock and mandarin cookies to the shelf to make room. Trimmed up the basil tree as well. Moved white widow into the flower tent. They’ll be chopped in the next week or two. I put these under the microscope and they’re almost there. Mandarin maybe another week, head knock is absolutely insane. Wish I knew how to grow it bigger, hopefully can get more clones of this. Headknock 2 & barnyards are flowering crazy. Think they’re missing some nutrients because the leaves are turning purple. Least that’s what free world told me! Sabowaka is doing the best quite the turn around.

2/26/23 Chopped: Mandarin Cookie, Larry Lemon, Headknock this week. Great to get the garden perpetuating with another harvest. Dried out and jarred already for curing. Netted 31g from mandarin and headknock before drying. Sabowaka looks great. It’s filling out and budding strong. Head knock didn't stretch as much as I imagined it would. It’s still filling out and smells and lols great. Barnyard apples is doing great. The leaves are coloring out because they’re likley lacking nutrients needed from the soil. Keeping an eye on them and watching as they have 3-4 weeks left before harvest.

3/12/23 Took sabowaka and headknock 2 outside for hardening off. Sabowaka swelled up pretty good towards the end. Noticed some pm while moving to the other tent also some more mites. Getting everything sprayed down with green cleaner regularly. Barnyard looks like it could go a bit longer so I’m going to give it another week. Getting close to the end with this one!

3/19/23 Chopped sabowaka and headknock 3/15, decided not to wash the buds this time. Probably rushed it a bit but they looked good and ready to go although they could’ve swelled a bit more. But I was running out of space and I was concerned with the pm issue. They’re drying in about 69% humidity in the grow room in the dark in the drying rack/hanger. Barnyard apples is starting to swell and get bigger. Gave it some kashi and build a flower and build a bloom. Probably gonna let it run for a few weeks to see where it goes. Although the leaves are starting to look bad. We’ll keep an eye on it. That’s the last one from this grow started early December!

3/28/23 After drying the last two they’ve been trimmed and into jars Barnyard looks like it’s ready to cut the trichs are visibly amber. But I’m just not ready I want to run this long so I’m gonna leave it for another week at least and let the buds swell as much as possible. No rush on it!
