Started germination in the glass of water and moved in the paper towel once the seeds starting to sink. Placed the seeds into 5 gallon cloth pots keeping the tent around 70°F, and 70% humidity.
Day 6: Since Day 1 I’ve been spraying the soil with Tap water when it it gets dry. I just tested the water today after some growth and I’ve been spraying it with about 7PH water. I adjusted some tap water in a solo cup to about 6.4ph and gave half to each. I raised the light and turned it down from 600μmol to about 250μmol. Still maintaining the 70° and 70% humidity, with the light on 24 hours a day. I think I should adjust that soon. Thoughts?
This post is a bit late, but better late than never .
I’ve been keeping my light on 24 seven and I have the tent at the parameters I listed above. Billy seems to be taking off quite well but Mandy on the other hand is not. I’ve been spraying around them with a spray bottle, using tap water, whenever the soil is dry. I hope Mandy picks up soon. Any and all suggestions welcome.
Billy still seems to be the stronger plant out of the two. I just recently updated the light schedule to 18 hours on five off, and I just started to use The fox farm big bloom, and grow big nutrients in my gallon of water. Similar to last post. I have been just watering the soil whenever it’s dry. If there’s any suggestions or advice, anybody wants to give, I’d be happy to take it.
This week I’ve kept the same routine watering the pots when the soil is dry. I got a moisture meter that I’m using to help tell when it actually is dry so I don’t overwater or under water. I started using the netting, and I can see how the plant is trying to make its way towards the light which is kind of cool. My light is on an 18 on 6 off. Schedule What is excited to see what Billy does, and curious as to what Mandy will do. Should I start pruning now? Any suggestions, thoughts, and comments are greatly appreciated.
This week I started including the tiger bloom into the watering routine. Same as the following weeks, I’ve been watering when dry until I hear the water pouring out the bottom. I increased the intensity of the light so that the plants were getting 950 PPFD. I also went and improve some of the bigger leaves that were covering up of the nodes. The LST seems to be working well with giving me multiple Bud sites, but I can’t seem to get the plant to grow upwards. I noticed Mandy is also getting dark.
Week six I’ve been watering when dry and I bumped the nutrients up a bit. I started to prune some of the lower fan leaves to help with the bud growth. Everything looks to be going well with Billy by Mandy still seems to be pretty small.
I’ve kept the same regimen as I have for the past two weeks. I’m starting to see some salt residue on the fabric pots. I’m wondering if I should flush with sledgehammer now
I’ve kept feeding Billy and Mandy whenever their soil gets dry. This week I lowered the amount of grow big based on the fox farm feeding schedule. This week is also the first time I saw some of the leaves turn a kind of orange color. I’ve read online that that could be rust fungus, or do to overfeeding. Does anyone suggest using Cal-mag? I also read that it’s not necessary with Foxfarm soil because it already has enough calcium in it just wanna know what just thoughts are. I believe you can see the orange leaves in a couple of the pictures above.
I think I’ll shop at the end of this week and start my harvest!!! Trichomes are looking pretty milky! I may have added a little bit too much nutrients because the leaves start to turn a little orange at the ends, but I think I’m fine overall. Something to take it to the next grow.
@Inganjawetrust, Thanks!!!I was talking to a friend and he suggested I should cut in the next couple days. Do you think that I should wait longer? The trichomes look pretty milky right now to me.
Wow the blackberry autos look amazing. I’m growing them for the first time on week 2 of Veg. So excited to see them turn to purple. Good luck and happy growing
