Cruising along. NB1 has stopped stretching and started focusing solely on bud development, heavy trichome production is starting on the middle flowers. A stem rub produces a strong berry/fuel odor, which seems to be the main terpene with this strain as previous grows have smelled the same. NB2 is starting to slow down as of yesterday on stretching, its kind of crazy how she just took off and is now a full 2 inches taller than her sister. Leaves have remained a little droopy for the last couple of weeks, and I believe that's her not being able to handle as much light. Towards the end of the days cycle her leaves droop lower. I cant raise the light any further without sacrificing ppfd for NB1, so I super cropped the tallest branches after taking this pic. Her flower structure seems like it's going to be sativa like, taller and more airy, maybe that means the effect will be more energizing as well. It would be a nice addition to my mostly indica stash.
I did have to adjust the lights after seeing the yellow tips on both plants start to increase this past week. When I checked the distance from NB2 it was at 15 inches, and 16 1/2 from NB1 so I adjusted the light to 17 inches above NB2.
No water so far, maybe a little tomorrow, the soil is staying consistently moist but not wet, I love these living soil pots for that. I do think I'm going to give them less water this time so I can water more frequently. Oh and switching to room temp water seemed to improve growth so I will continue to do that from now on.
Thats about it for this week. I thank whoever takes the time to browse this journal. See you guys next week!
