So during the 4th week of Veg we started the week by topping the main ends of the branches once we had a good base and they looked healthy enough. I LST by tying them down close to the ground and trying to spread them out.
So far I have learnt with this plant she is happy just to sit there and get extra bushy. I've also stopped taking fan leaves out, she throws a fit when you do stops growing until she puts out another solar dish.
For now I am tucking and bending all the leaves and tops around I have also had to higher up the light to 1meter and only have it on 50% to try and get them to grow up and spread out a bit. It is such a compact heavy indica plant.
I also brewed up a Veg targeted compost tea and added 10 ltrs to the entire bed of soil mid week, with added Aloe FPJ and filled the bottom of the res up with a further 10ltrs of fluids plus some Em1 to stop the res going bad. The training will continue!
@LegacyMarketFarm, cheers brother. Over the last couple of days the colors have started moving down the colars looking crazy and starting to see some orange trichomes. We are on the home stretch!
I'm waiting for your update, I'm growing Wonder Pie by GHCE, but it's a different cross, was given as a test freebie - Wedding cake x Exodus Cheese, according to the statistics I'm lucky it did not hermie as I vegged her for 20 weeks xD
Now it's in 8th week of flowering and I love to see how well your plant is doing so I can compare it to mine, as i'm behind a week or so.
Please share the harvest details <3
Is it my pheno or this strain generally has smaller but dense colas? Compared to other strains they are about 30-35% smaller, but very dense and full of trichomes as for week 7.
@doppiO,
Hey man sorry for the length on updates! I'm sure you are close to finishing by now. With my plant and alot of GHSC phenos atm it looks like they stay squat. I had next to no stretch at all and the plant continued to get leafy throughout flower. Not the best looking colars I've had but definitely one of the best looking flowers for sure.
