What's up guys, this will be the third grow I've logged on here. Last go I dialed in my rdwc system, this time I will be using the same system with some upgraded parts. The goal is to have my "harvest every 5-6 weeks" system in place by the time these start to flower. As for these gals, I have high expectations as the last two ethos strains I grew were some of the best bud I've ever smoked, let alone grown myself. The one on the left looks a bit rough, waited a bit long to transfer to the grow medium. Regardless, it is growing well and the root growth is about the same as the other. Now that I've upped the ppm and the roots are starting to reach the water, I imagine the growth up top will rapidly accelerate. Thanks for your time if you've read this far! Happy growing!

They are growing nicely! Made a fresh batch of nutrient solution and added orca to the lineup. Also added silica this week. Last week I mad my nutrient solution mixed incorrectly, completely my fault. This week we will bounce back! Good thing they're photos!

Jumped the ppm up to around 800 and got a bit of tox, as you can see with the dark curling leaves. Not doing a res change, just adding a bit more orca and letting it come down naturally over the next week. I have also learned my lesson on being stingy with seeds. From now on I will be planting double what I intend to grow, then only keeping the ones that are growing vigorously. These two have been in the exact same conditions, getting the exact same nute solution, under the exact same light, since germ. You would think the differences between them would be marginal, however the one on the left while growing at the same rate (node wise) it is only half the size in basically every way. Even the roots are much smaller than the other, of which has developed a hefty ball already. As for technique, topped em both from the 5th to the 3rd and pruned the 1st and 2nd. Probably not going to go extreme with the manifolding, but I am going to top at least 2 more times and prune as needed. Hopefully as I continue to veg them, the smaller will hit a growth spurt. If not, I'll lst the bigger one more to help even out the canopy.

Size disparity between the two is still heartbreaking, probably will just stop mentioning that at this point. Pretty locked in that that plant will be living ts life that way. I haven't changed the solution from last week, only added a shot of orca to make sure the bennies are still active. I can tell that it's still probably a bit much, as the ppm is slowing drifting up. Will make some ph'd plain water solution to top up with which will dilute. Likely going to run 2 more weeks of veg. At that point I suspect the larger plant to be outgrowing the 2x2. If they were both the size of the larger I'd flip them next week. I have the materials to build a nearly identical dwc system. I'm going to set it up in the other tent for flower so that I can star 2 more asap.

I've basically decided to ditch the small plant at this point. Not going to kill it, as the res is plenty big enough that it won't affect the other either way, but I don't really have any expectations for yield. On that note, I will be entirely focusing my efforts into getting the big girl BIG. gonna try and get her big enough to make up for the other. Normally I'd be wanting to flip this week, but looks like I'm gonna let her go another one or two. Def will be topping again so prob a week after I do that is when I'll flip. New growth is looking good, nice color and not wrinkled like the old stuff was. Think I've got her in a good zone, just gotta keep it like this a little longer then off to the races.

I keep going back and forth on whether I want to keep the small plant or not haha. I have mainline it more aggressively and will continue to do so. Hopefully I get a handful of nice tops. The bigger plant though, is taking off. Topping again today or tomorrow, which will put it at 8 mains. I'll probably try to wait it out and top again before flip. Either way, gotta move them to the other tent soon before they outgrow the 2x4.

I cab feel it in me bones... she's gonna be huge. I'm waiting for more development so I can top one more time before I flip. Shooting for over a lb from the one plant, shouldn't be a problem under the se7000. I haven't changed anything since last week, just keeping an eye on the ph. Sf2000 is at 50% and 10-12". I have been eyeing the medicgrow smart 8 light... comparable to se7k in most ways but has a built in controller with timer, spectrum adjustment, sunrise/sunset, dimming, etc. If anyone has experience with the light leave a comment or dm me please.

Things are looking good. She's really blown up last few weeks and I could easily flip now with the expectation of a nice yield. I am however, going to wait. In another two or three days she will be ready for a final top. She's outgrowing the 2x4, so I'll probably go ahead and move her into the 4x8 this week but still on 18/6 until she recovers from the last top. I will say this, the stem rubs from this girl are ridiculous. Like, I can't even mess with her in the morning or ill smell heavily of skunky grape all day. It's bad. I had to change my jacket at work because I could smell it on my sleeve... lesson learned there. For anyone interested, the only things I have done here is topping and pruning in a mainline pattern, and some defoliation. When I get her in the bigger tent she will get scrogged out.

The last week has been awesome for this girl. She's outgrown the 2x and moved into the 4x and under the net. Today I topped for the fourth and last time. I'm giving her 2 or 3 days to heal and let the new tops grow out a bit. After that I'm flipping to 12 and getting ready for the stretch

Damn she getting huge! Having to defoliate like crazy, there's gonna be a ridiculous number of budsites on this girl. Stretching out in the net one more time then all vertical growth from there. Luckily I have like a foot and a half of height left so should be ok.

Man, she's still stretching. Super glad I scrog right about now. Luckily I still have some clearance for my light so even if she keeps stretching this week I should be OK. Budsites are now beginning to form, probably during or after this week I will start changing over to my bloom ratios and adding a small ammt of tps signal. This is already the largest plant yet, and though my dehumidifier has been running full blast 24/7, pulling about 2.5gal of water from the air a day, things are looking good no wpm in sight.

Wow! She has exceeded my expectations and maxed out the height of my tent. One branch was nearly touching the light so had to supercrop, she took it like a champ though and only a day later the branch is reaching for the light again. Hopefully no more vertical growth! Flowers are in early development so I'm hoping that all of the plants energy will go to flower production. I have lollipopped and defoliated so that light should be getting to most, if not all, budsites and if things go as planned the harvest should well exceed my original goal. I will say, she's sucking up water super fast! Like 5 gal a day! I gotta stay on top of it going forward.. I was lax this last week and let my ppm drift up to 1600, but I've got it back down to 1100ppm and 6.0ph now. Just gotta keep some extra solution pre mixed to top up the res daily from now on.

Holy shit! I've had to supercrop 6 or so branches so far cause they are STILL GETTING TALLER! I don't think I've ever had a plant still gaining height in 4th week of flower! I knew she was gonna be big but this is a bit hectic 😅 I feel like I should add another fan and maybe defol a little more. I'm always paranoid about wpm. Damn... it's gonna be a crazy month

Things are going well! She's drinking a ton and that's causing my ppm and ph to swing a bit, but nothing out of control as long as I stay on it. I haven't had to supercrop anymore, I think she's finally at her finish height, thank God lol. This is gonna be an awesome harvest! Also, my orca has started having a funky smell... I believe it may have gone bad, though idk why. If anyone else has experienced this please let me know. Thinking of going back to great white for the shelf life/stability.

She's coming along nicely! Haven't really done much this week other than keeping the water topped up. Some pistils are starting to turn orange, but new pistils are forming as well so she's probably got a while yet. The buds are just now starting to swell, next 2-3 weeks I should see them stack quite a bit of weight. What's already there seems to be quite dense. Smells very fruity by the way, very floral in the tent, but with a pinch or a rub the smell reminds me of grape cough syrup. Guess I got lucky with the pheno! If these buds continue to swell over the next few weeks like I think they will, I should have no problem meeting/exceeding my 1.5lb target.

She's turning purple! We are nearing harvest time and things are looking great. Buds are finally starting to swell up, hopefully they will get a bit bigger but even still there's already a lot in there! I think it's safe to say I'm going to break my 1.5lb goal. Started feeding according to the lucas method. Haven't changed much else. I'm about to put together another dwc setup. I have made some changes that I believe will be nice upgrades to my current system. If that works out well, I will also be rebuilding this one.

Everything's looking OK. Just riding it out until I see some amber in the buds. Included a few trichrome shots, mostly still clear with some white. I'm hoping by the end of the week it'll be mostly white with some amber. I'm anxious for chop time! Buds have swolen up nicely, some bigger than others of course but that's the way she goes I suppose. I still think I'm gonna break my goal of 1.5 lbs. Edit: I added a picture of the new tote system. The way the pvc is installed is much better than the way my other one is. Also the grow container is offset vertically by 4" so that I can utilize a larger water volume in the res. May look long, but that's because it needs to reach the center of a 4x8. This plant is literally falling out of the tent when I unzip it. To utilize the space in the best way I can think of (without running more plants at a time, which I am not looking to do right now) I'm going to position my 2 site container in the center and train the left and right sides out to fill approx 3/4 of the sqft available. Leaves room for airflow and makes for easy care, tent will be lit by a se7000 and a sf4000 and I'll be adding co2 mid flower. If anyone has any recommendations regarding the tote design, I'm always open to suggestions. Also, in an effort to prevent stagnant areas in the grow container when the roots get big, I'm thinking if making a pvc frame that goes all the way around the inside of the tote, just under the lid. Have holes drilled in the bottom side so that when the water is pumped in, it will be dispersed around the entire perimeter rather than having a single entry point.

Almost done! The trichromes are around 20%clear, 75%white, and 5%amber. Later this week they should be at a good ratio. The buds have gotten so heavy that most branches have bent, basically supercropping themselves. I have several held up and those have buds nearly the size of soda cans.

I'll have to update with final weight, but it's def over a lb of trimmed smoke, with probably another 2oz of larf for hash/edibles. The room I trimmed in still smelled of terps the following day, just from the trim, no bud was left in that room. Still have the crucial first week of cure, to bring the moisture the rest of the way down. Otherwise, looking fantastic
