After a long selection process, we all tasted the resulting hybrid and agreed that there was something really big going on. Why is it that people like Blue Dream so much? That's why she's the pet strain of many people over 40."** **CREDIT: Humboldt Seed Organization ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~ This will be a 100% Organic grow ~ Initially seed was planted directly into the medium. ~ Planted into a 1qt. plastic pot filled with that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 6.5 ph. ~ Seed germinated for three days before breaking ground. ~ Grown in a 10g fabric pot filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite amended with Xtreme Gardening Mykos, Gaia Green 4-4-4 (2tbsp/g) / 2-8-4 (1tbsp/g) and 30% Worm Castings. ~ Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with Gaia Green slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~ Straight well water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ~ Grown under HLG 650R's with a 18/6 light cycle for vegetation, then 12/12 to flower with supplemental UVA added during the last weeks of flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~ Supplemental co2 provided throughout vegetation and flower - monitored and controlled by an AutoPilot APC8200 co2 controller. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 2/28- Week Two of flower for the Humboldt Seed Organization Blue Dream and she's starting to form the first real signs of flower, sprouting some beautiful white pistils out of her bud sites. Her aroma has begun to get stronger as well and is noticeable on your hands after touching her. I watered the Blue Dream today with the usual 1g of well water, to which I also added 5ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann, and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. I'm splitting the water 75% through the top, the rest into the pan where it is absorbed up into the medium. I also spread out a couple of her branches that had grown long enough to reach the next trellis square. 3/2- The Blue Dream got watered today after having a 'dry out' day yesterday. I watered her with 1g of well water, to which I also added 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses, and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 72℉. I'm splitting the water 75% through the top, the rest into the pan where it is absorbed up into the medium. She's really stretching now and I was able to weave a couple of her branches out into the trellis net allowing more light down into her canopy, especially into the center section which has abundant new growth going on. I also tucked in several shade leaves to help with the light penetration. 3/4- I let the Humboldt Seed Organization Blue Dream dry out an additional day as her water consumption has dropped slightly. Today I gave her a good watering with a full gallon of well water that I added 5ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann to and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 73℉, doing the usual of 75% into the medium and the remaining 25% into the drip pan to be absorbed through the fabric pot. The Blue Dream's flowers are coming right along in their development, albeit a little stringy looking, and you can see a difference day to day now! 3/6- Today I decided to go ahead and top dress the Blue Dream. I added to the medium 2 tbsp/g of Gaia Green 2-8-4 slow release dry amendment, 2 cups of Wiggle Worm Castings and 1/4 cup of Down To Earth Fish Bone Meal (for the added Potassium) which I worked in by hand and then watered in with 1g of well water that I added 1 tbsp/g of Unsulfured Black Strap Molasses to and then ph'd it to 6.5 @ 72℉. There's another week on the books for the Humboldt Seed Organization Blue Dream! I'm really looking forward to the coming weeks when her flowers will be developing and I can really begin to see what this girl has got!
