Very good and strong start, a bit towards yellow green.

Fast rate of growth and development. A bit off a problem with Ca/Mg. Mild signs of nutrient burn at the beginning ( white tips on fisrt leaves. ) Tap water was mildly lowered in pH with cider vinegar and epsom salt added, watering was abundant to help with the nutrient problem ( flush). Second week starts with firts set of 5 fingered leaf.

Strong development, but she is a bit dwarf. Maybe the P shortage made the internode short? Started to push the main them towards a 45°position, 4 side shoots developed nicely to same height. Slight smell was noticed every time after the light or less light stress ( touching, leaf tucking, wire or bungee cord instalation or removal). Watering was done on one occasion with water soaked in natural woodland mulch to help soil microorganisms, few tablespoon of woodland mulch was inoculated in the top soil. Pine bark mulch applied. There were three sessions of foliar spray, with very mild foliar feed solution mainly to stop the mild chlorosis and help the P problem.

The week started with signs of pre flowers, just for my horror to discover the male flowers next day. A bit of a disappointment, but I must admit the soil was hot and with screwed pH, I was running the lights on the stronger side of recommend dimm level and so on. There definitely was stress. And the training. I did a last 24 h of bending and training with bungee cord. A few days later a defoliation and lolipoping because I could keep the humidity low and she just looked very bushy and full. I know a hermit doesn't benefit from extra stress, but I don't want moldy flowers. A lot of side branches with undeveloped top bud, or just not promising growth were removed. Also some leaves. She is nice and airy after this.

I had to continue with defoliation despite the fear of too much stress will bring male flowers. The canopy looks nice and even, despite the plant beeing bushy. I did the defoliation stagered, every time I looked I piched one or two leaves to make it more airy and better lit. I kept bending, trunking leaves and twisting the branches gently by hand.

Light defoliation and a lot of traning resulted in a nice dome shaped plant full of thumb sized flowers. Watering was a bit of a challenge, there were a few days of 24h light ( I am not sure how) but overall it developed nicely and started to get some trichomes on the sugar leaves.

I pulled down most of the top branches with coat hangverseny, and I kept the plant a bit on the dry side. Its getting frostier day by day, the growth slowed down. The canopy is very bushy and dense again.

I got lazy with taking photos. Beginning od week I kept the plant on the dry side of watering, and I was happy that I can keep the air humidity low, soon I had to realise that it lost most of it's turgescent and pot was very light. Second part of the week I watered more often and kept exhaust at higher rate. I removed all branch restrictions ( coat hangers were pulling down all top kolas ) and kept feeding it quite frequently. Lights are turned up 100% + an extra sensi bulb. As extra top dressing I used egg powder and collagen powder. To my surprise I did notice a lot of root growth in that area of the soil.

Trichome formation continued during the week, towards the end of week 10th some of the flowers are ready for harvest. (Half of stigmas are orange) Watering was continued almost as before, the increased airflow keeps the humidity gelow 50 most of the times. She had a good soak ( light flush). The smell is not too strong, but the filter is used, sometimes even the filter the air of the whole room. Out of the tent sometimes I smell : a fresh, green plant, citrusy, pomelo like, slightly piney smell.

After a few days of close examnition of the trichomes and stigma and after the consumption of a quickly dried teaser bud I decided to do a harvest on day 72 ( give or take 10 th week). The yield was 160g green, fresh Budapest, roughly ⅓ colume wise of the full canopy. The plant got a good trim, branches were bent out to open the canopy. I am glad I did a partial trim, the business of the plant and the over training made this a better option then a full harvest. After the partial harvest the canopy was more airy, more light and air got to the plant. Right after this a good watering was done and probably that's the last proper soak before harvest.

Total harvest was done on day 80th.
