Nesia - Amnesia Haze Auto [G2]

Day 1 is here at last! Happy first light baby Nesia! This is the third auto of G2 (my second grow). She is 26 days behind Kings Kush Auto. She is 24 days behind Big Bang Auto She is 12 days behind Super Lemon Haze. There is one more auto in this series that hasn't yet germinated. Baby Nesia is in about 30 litres of substrate in a 40l fabric pot. This substrate contains no slow release fertiliser. She has some companion seeds in her pot that are just emerging - Basil and Chamomile. She is the first plant I have started in its final pot in my life. This is an experimental grow. Day 2: Still alive! Day 3: Height 3cm Width 2.5cm Nodes: 1 Day 4: H3.5cm W4cm N1 Day 5: Fertigated with 2l @ 15:00 Day 7: Fertigated with 2l @ 16:00

Well not much to say really. Nesia is growing but the rate is disappointing. Let's see how this week goes. Day 10: Quite a 24h spurt of growth. Tempted to gently LST. Day 11: LST - I want to keep this baby low. Day 14: Seeing some signs of I think deficiency... I think down to the few days of water only. Have resumed feeding and let us see what happens. Week summary. Not a spectacular second week and some problems are arising. Let's see if we can fix that.

Week 3... from my limited experience this is the first week of major growth so Nesia will be a different plant in seven days. Day 16: Big burst of grow! I hope this continues! I think the colouring of older leaves is potassium deficiency caused by too much magnesium. I've stopped adding CalMag to my already hard water. LST 20:00 Day 17: Just spent a little time comparing my other grows. Nesia is currently about the same size and node development as Karen was on day 27; she is fully ten days ahead of Karen. Take a look at Karen in week six. I think Nesia is going to be big. I shall continue very regular LST throughout this grow as this strain can reach 1.5m in height but I do not want to let it get too tall. Day 18: Her development is almost identical to Karen except 10-11 days ahead. I feel like I know how this one will grow. Day 19: Have not compared photos yet but she looks to have grown a lot today. I finally figured out I'm low on Mg so I've restarted using CalMag. I've made some comparison collages and added them to my grows in various places, I will do this regularly as they really are helpful for comparing growth from week to week and from plant to plant. If you look at the collage I've added here you will see just how far ahead of Karen this girl is, then consider Karen as she is now, I am very optimistic about Nesia- I think she is going to impress. Day 19.5: LST. Minor defoliation (3 large fan leaves). Fertigated approx 1.5l Day 21: LST. Fertigated approx 2l. Weekly Summary: Well here we are at the end of week 3. Absolutely massive growth as predicted at the start of the week. I took off 3 big leaves on day 19. The most impressive and slightly ominous thing about Nesia is that today I have noticed her roots have breached the bottom and side wall of the pot. It is a 40l pot but I guestimate there is about 30l in it. Pretty impressive overall. Nesia at three weeks old is by far the largest and most advanced of any of my grows so far at the same point. I really would not be surprised to see this plant exceed 1.5m untrained. Next week will be an even bigger transformation. P.S. I can see the Mg deficiency, don't worry I'm working on it.

Diaries updated daily so please check back! Welcome to day 1 of week 4 aka day 22 since breaking ground. Nesia continues to impress, being by far the most advanced plant for her age that I have grown so far. I am very excited for this week in particular. She is following Karen's pattern exactly, except without the three week bad start. By the end of this week I expect she will be 50cm in diameter at least. Day 22.5: Performed LST on secondary nodes. Day 23.5: Fertigated. Adjusted pot and added risers. Performed some brutal LST. She's growing almost completely horizontal now. My plan is to train her around the pot circumference. She's currently about where Karen was at the end of week 5. She is consistently 10-11 days ahead of Karen so far. Exciting. Brutal LST honestly I'm basically torturing her at this point. Day 23.75: Fertigated 3l Day 24: Nesia has put on a lot of foliage growth in the last 24h. I am noticing a pattern here with defoliating, it seems that the plants seem to alternate between focusing on foliage growth and focusing on height. I am starting to think regular defoliation may reduce internode distance and stretching. I am going to test this theory a bit by letting both Nesia and Misty grow a bit now before I further LST the primary node. Removed a few fan leaves. Day 26: Reconfigured tent. See video. Nesia now has more light. Incidentally, I believe I have now corrected the Magnesium deficiency, colour is looking great, growth accelerating rapidly. I did say this would be an even bigger week than last and it is certainly shaping up that way. Fertigated 2l. Day 27: Performed major LST and minor defoliation. Nesia is really growing well. She fills the big pot already. I severaly pruned the companion plants to make room for Nesia. I also reorganised the tents and configuration again while installing upgrades. New reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Airflow and light both increased and optimised. See video. Day 28: Nesia has responded quite strongly to the LST and defoliation yesterday. Nesia has not been watered for 48h. I am doing a short "dry spell" for all the plants. End of week summary: Well what a great week for Nesia. She hid a lot of her growth under massive leaves until the LST on day 27. I was pretty hard with her, and I aslo defoliated. She saved us a big surprise for the end of the week. Can you believe the response 24h later? That is quite shockingly good adaptation. I am certain that the reason she responds so strongly, is because by now, the end of week 4, she is well used to this regular process. Every time I have done LST and/or defoliation she has responded quicker and more vigorously. Nesia is going to far, far exceed Karen in size if she keeps up at this rate. Overall I couldn't be much more pleased with Nesia. She is an absolute star and I am already thinking a possible future diary of the month winner. I have been extremely impressed with Fast Buds genetics so far.

Good morning! Welcome to week 5 for Nesia. She continues to respond strongly to the training on day 27. I broke her drought today and fertigated approx 4l. I expect her to start showing pre-flowers this week. Day 30: Nesia piling on foliage. Big day of veg growth, a response to the mini-drought I believe. Happy one month birthday Nesia. Day 31: Performed LST and defoliated a bit. Noticed today that Nesia has started sprouting pistils, last week of veg. Day 32: Fertigated 5l. Big response to LST as usual. Day 33: Nesia responds so well to LST that I'm struggling to contain her. If I keep doing LST on all my plants, I will quickly run out of room in the tent. I may need to let her gain some height or find another solution.... Day 33.5: Flushed with 30l PH & CalMag water Day 34: reorganised tent Day 35: Fertigated approx 3l. Performed LST on tallest nodes. End of week summary: Nesia has put out a great week of veg. I expect her to transition strongly into flower next week and begin stretching.

I performed some further LST today just before I took the photo. Day 37: Fertigated 4l Day 38: I think the stretch is just beginning. Day 39: Light defoliation and fertigated 3.5l. Day 42: Stretching fast! Day 42.5: Fertigated 3l, performed LST and heavily defoliated.

Hello and welcome to week 7 beginning for Nesia, the largest and most advanced 6 week old plant I have ever grown. I update daily so week 6 is now complete. Please do check it out! I have added some comparisons shots of Karen, the oldest girl of this [G2] series to show just how impressive Nesia is. Nesia is 25 days younger than Karen and she is already a larger plant. This diary is not very popular or comment filled right now, but as this grow progresses I really think it's going to gain some attention. Nesia is going to be big. Day 44: Nesia stretching fast now. Day 45: Flowering is going well. I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 46: Fertigated 5l Day 47: Nesia is really moving into flower strongly now. Pistil development has started proper, stretching rapidly. Day 49: Nesia starting to pose me a challenge. She is big. Now by far the largest plant. She has reached 50cm height and 70cm across. I will add proper photos later and do a week summary. Day 49: Nesia is stretching really fast now. I hope she doesn't stretch much more but I fear we're only halfway done. She's way bigger than Karen now. Taller, wider. Fertigated 5l End of week summary... well what can I say Nesia has now surpassed Karen (25 days older) in every size and growth metric. She is following exactly the same pattern except without all the problems. I think she still has 2 weeks of stretching to go, on that basis I am expecting her to grow upto 25cm in the next week and the same again the week after - so I think Nesia is going to end up being about 1m tall. Honestly I hope not though, but let us see.

Hello and welcome to week 8 for the quite amazing Nesia. She is growing as if there were no tomorrow... being the largest plant in the series. Please check last week which is now complete. Day 50: Fertigated 5l. Height: 56cm. Yes you read that correctly. 6cm stretch in 1 day. Oh dear. Also added a couple of carnivorous plants to take care of the odd fungus gnat. Day 51: I've taken a long video and some better photos to demonstrate Nesia's size. She now measures 60cm tall that's another 4cm in a little over 12 hours. 😔 What a plant! Day 52: Lazy day no measurements. Day 53: Fertigated 5l - height 62cm Day 54: Fertigated 5l - height 65cm.- Nesia is already my largest plant. Larger even than her majesty the Queen. She's not done yet. 3cm vertical stretch in 24h. It is Nesia's turn in the middle so I've trimmed all leaves that extended outward. Day 56: Height 72cm. Nesia has continued to stretch and is extremely thirsty. She's taking about 5 litres a day at the moment. I fear she is not finished yet. End of week summary: Nesia has continued to stretch fast and gained 22cm in height this week. She's now putting out a lot of pistils but the stretch hasn't slowed yet.

Hello! Welcome to week 9 for Nesia, this Amnesia Haze Auto from Fast Buds. She is now by far the largest plant I've grown so far. She is stretching very fast and gained another 3cm in the last 24h making a 25cm stretch in 8 days. Please check last week which is now complete. Day 57: Fertigated 5l Day 58: Height 80cm. +5cm in 24h 😳 +30cm in 9 days Day 59: Height 83cm.... is the stretch finally slowing or is it because I have not fertigated? Hmm Day 60: Fertigated 5l. Height 87cm. That answers the above question. Fertigated 3l.

Hello and welcome to almost the end of week 12 for this Amnesia Haze Auto by Fast Buds. No updates lately due to house move, but from Tuesday should be back online. I snapped Nesia's tallest cola in the move. 24h later it was straight back up again. She is now 100cm tall and still very early in flowering.

Hey growmies! 👊 I am back online finally! So it is day 95 for Nesia and she is no less impressive today than at any week before now. Check out the video! I have a new phone so hopefully the photos will be better too! I am really excited to see what this girl can do, she has started to swell those buds! The smell of Amnesia is really strong now. Height: 103cm Fertigated 10l 4 days ago and 7.5l today.

Day 98: Fertigated 10l Hello growmies and welcome to week 15 for Nesia - this superb Amnesia Haze Auto from Fast Buds. Nesia continues to amaze me as by far my largest plant. If you have been following my grow series you will know that I recently harvested Karen, who was dwarfed by Nesia, and Karen has yielded 160g dry. So I am properly excited to see if Nesia can set me a new yield record! I think she can and will! Day 100: So I can no longer move her out of the tent to photograph, she is just too big and too heavy with bud. It is recipe for disaster. So for the rest of the grow I will be doing my best to get good photographs in the tent. I hope that's okay, because I don't have a choice really. Anyway she is a photogenic girl to say the least so I am not too concerned. I am really enjoying this new camera, I need to explore the limits! Anyway you should expect another update tomorrow or soon! :D Day 104: Fertigated 10l I very nearly cut Nesia today, I even announced on Twitter that I would in the end I decided to let her go a bit longer I want to see some serious amber! I think I am starting to get the hang of the lighting and new cam... practice practice!

Hello and welcome to week 16, or more specifically the final day of week 16! Day 112: Fertigated 10l. She is still adding new growth to the buds and new pistils, I took a peek into the middle of a bud today and we're at about 5% amber. Still another week or two for Nesia. She smells amazing. Last week I took off about 20 lower colas, those have since dried and I took the larf off and it's absolutely amnesia haze, I can't wait to try the actual proper buds. Incidentally I got 14g of processed flower from those underdeveloped lower colas. I am not sure now if Nesia will be my record haul or not, too soon to say really and Poppy is looking ridiculous. It's definitely the end game now.

Hello and welcome to week 17 for this long-flowering Amnesia Haze Auto by Fast Buds. Nesia is now focusing on swelling her buds, and many are now too weighty for her to hold up. I am having to add more and more support ties as they swell. This is a good sign. I am checking daily with the loupe but there has not been much progress in terms of trichs, still mostly cloudy/opaque. Day 115: Fertigated 7l Day 116: Added photos.

Hello growmies! Welcome to week 19 the final week for Nesia, this Amnesia Haze Auto by Fast Buds. She was harvested on day 132. Harvest and report to follow.

Really delighted with this grow overall. Nesia was impressive from start to finish, busting out of the blocks like a sprinter, but maturing slowly as the long haze flower period stretches on. Worth it though, this was the biggest plant I have grown so far, and is my new record yielding plant, far surpassing Karen but over 60g.
