Things are starting to get more interesting with every grow. This third diary has two kind sponsors: Green Buzz Nutrients and the Kannabia seed company. I am grateful and a tad flattered. π
Here in the first entry I briefly introduce the products, but the following weeks my entries will be as usual - of course also with details about when and how I used something. I am very curious to see how this will develop!
I will only use a 3L pot, as my husband, who has been very patient, wanted his own grow and will take most of the tent space.
I started with a seed folded into a paper towel and put it in a plastic container with a lid. After the tab root was about 1cm (day 3), I transferred it into Root Riot cubes, which had already impressed me in my last grow.

Green Buzz Nutrients are organic nutrients, micro elements, plant aids and stimulators. They cater directly to the needs of cannabis growers, and I noticed that the company is highly evaluated in German grow shops. I'm looking forward to trying them out now to see if they're as good as their reputation. I'm a novice to nutrients (my poor house plants have to do without), so I'm planning to strictly follow GBN's feeding schedule.

Kannabia let me choose 4 of their strains, and I will try out "Mikromachine Auto" first. Its description on their site says:
"Mikromachine Auto is one of our highest yielding autoflowering seeds. This delectable sativa-dominant variety treats you to a pungent taste with floral aromas and earthy yet very sweet flavours. [...] This hybrid is the result of a union between two of the best and most famous autoflowering strains of all time β Northern Lights Auto and AK-47 x Critical. [...] Even in inexperienced hands, this small production machine provides the opportunity to harvest large amounts in small spaces. Despite having a somewhat lengthy flowering process (which can take up to 75 days), its large number of leafy buds loaded with trichomes are the reward for each extra dayβs wait."
Sounds very promising, let's begin!

@SlowpokeFuegobud, thank you! It's
Mikromachine Auto
Purple Dream Auto
Zkit Kandy Dream Auto
Speedy Boom Auto.
My husband choose the purple strain, and I might add a diary about it, too.
@kohlrabi, I'm always happy to help :) I've just started my own small grow, although not quite as small as yours. The new diary should be up later today.
If you allow us, we would like to offer you a support tip from the Kannabia team to help your girls get more light. Try to place the pots with the taller plants at the ends of the tent and the smaller ones in the center. We hope this helps, but if you need anything else, we are here to support you. Good luck! ππ

Kannabia, thank you very much, I really appreciate the support, but it's a 50 x 50 tent... π It is simply too small. I was hoping to get a bigger grow room until the mid of this grow, but things happened and I'm not able to afford that atm
@kohlrabi,yes If its an Automatic...Pop a new one.....thats the fun with Fotoperiod....If you mess Up. Just let iT grow out....i think its no big damage...shes fine
@Mrs_Larimar, thank you! Maybe I repot this one and try a new seed... Because I feel I am not doing this strain justice if I am leaving it to grow like that... Not sure yet.
Good luck with this grow! I've not heard of manifolding so am going to have to go do some research! :-D I try to learn something new every day and so this will be good!!
AH! It's just another name for mainlining... OK then! I think it's a pretty stressful technique to use on an autoflower as they don't like stress - but as you say, if it only results in the stunting of the plant, that will seem to be ok for you.... I just hope you get a harvest - I'm rooting for you!!
@kohlrabi, just so you're aware, mainlining/manifolding is never recommended for autoflowers... it's such an extremely stressful technique that autoflowers do not have enough time to recover from it in time to set their flowers... but good luck anyway!
@GrowingGrannie, thank you very much! π I think it's nearly the same as mainlining, with minimal differences. I saw some examples here with solo cups that looked neat and wanted to give it a try.
We are sorry to hear that you have run out of space to complete the crop satisfactorily. We hope that next time you will be able to have the space you deserve.
Thank you for choosing our genetics!

@kohlrabi, Just sell one of your kids. You can always make a new one.
At the very least, have your oldest work. The Asparagus picking season is almost here. Just tell 'em "Get out there and pick. Mama gotta grow some dank!"
@Z4Z0Z, π thank you! The picture I uploaded here of the first try is 4 weeks old so that one can compare. But the original one developed quite well and already got some flowers :)
