Seeds basically popped overnight. The other seed is another strain that I will be running alongside this one.

She is stringy, but I tend to start my plants and put them in the window before my previous harvest is done. She will straighten out just fine with a little help.

The Mimosa Evo has had very little stress from the transplant at the end of week 2 veg. The compost that I use is very nutrient dense and her roots were already bottoming out on her seedling pots, so she was up-potted to a 5 gallon plastic pot. So far she is only receiving water and I have noticed they tend to be fine all the way up until flower with this compost.

This week I topped her at the 3rd node to prepare for being tied to a trellis later on in a bigger tent. She is happy and healthy. As she grows I will be performing some LST getting these branches to stretch and make more tops.

I have taken some fan leaves in order to open the branches to more light and she is responding well to the LST, and defoliations. This girl is very low maintenence so far not needing water very often at all. From here we just repeat LST and defoliation until we get our desired plant structure.

So far so good. She is adapting well to her new home. We started this grow in a 2ft x 2ft but have made room and was able to upgrade to a 2ft x 4ft. During this stage its all a focus on controlling the vegetative growth to fill out a canopy flat across but full of bud sites. So far are at about 5 weeks in veg with still a bit more to go.

This is an exciting week as its Scrog Net time. So far this Mimosa Evo by Barneys Farm is a really easy plant to train. She has not slowed one bit in response to any of the low stress techniques I have used on her. I can't wait to fill this net out as much as possible.

It was a bit stressful coming home to a very stressed out lady, but she quickly overcame her undetwatering symptoms and has prompted me to add the HydroHalos, 5 gallon bucket/resevior, pump, a valve, and an air stone with air pump. I have a digital programmable plug that will allow me to setup watering if I need to take any trips.

More LST and defoliation. This girl still has not needed any feed. As she grows I am tying and tucking the taller branches under and to the netting. My goal is to grow her out against the netting in all directions making all budsites an even distance from the light and bringing as many of them to the netting as possible. I'm getting excited as we aren't far off from being able to switch her environment to flower and I cannot wait to see the fruits of our labor.

So, this week we filled out really well and I have decided to flip the lighting to 12/12. It only took three days from the switch to 12 hours to see the first signs of flower. This is where I count down from ....not from light switch.

Around the first week of flower I like to blend veg nutes and flower nutes. I then taper off of the 4-4-4 but add the COM fish bone meal on weeks 1, 3, and 5. The Mimosa Evo by Barneys Farm is a very vigorous and happy plant. She is already looking great in this first week of flower.

Light defoliation and optimizing light penetration. This will be done up until week 5 were I will only be plucking any dead foliage. From here we just watch her stack and fatten until we need to give her another feed.

She looks so good and is filling out beautifully. The faint smell of darkness is starting to come through. From here only one more feed and light defoliations until harvest time.

All there is to do is check the on her a few times a day and inspect soil moisture. Water as needed and watch the netting slowly fill up with dankness ✌️🤘😊.

This week is getting me excited. I think we all start getting kind of anxious around weeks 5 and on. I noticed that she needed to open up some more. The leaves and buds are mashing each other. I decided to build structure all the way around in order to be able to tie the scrog all the way stretched out. I did this very gently. She actually opened up a pretty good amount, which will be necessary to promote more bud growth. I don't like to take a ton of leaves off if I can help it and take defoliation with a balanced approach and am more hesitant to pull healthy growth this late in flower. The smell had really been coming in and every time it hits the nostrils I start drooling. She is also putting on weight.....dare I say I'm going to be excited to weight her in the end as dense as these buds are stacking......sheesh.

This week the Mimosa Evo by Barneys' Farm is filling out well and smells soooo good. This plant has a really awesome structure which I am finding to be consistent with Barneys' Farm genetics. The buds are crazy dense! For the rest of this grow I will only be giving her Water and a little bit of Black strap Molasses. Here in Week 6 Flower I am starting to see signs of flower Maturity with color changes and smells getting much more intense. I suspect we only have about 3 to 5 weeks left as this strain is a 9 week Strain.

So We are about to hit week 8 flower and im noticing the tips of the leaves around the buds are yellow. It is just the tips of the leaves and am not quite sure why this is happening or even that it is all that important being so late in flower? Anyone else experience this?

Seems to be about every second question here! Potassium build-up, real common. Often avoidable if running off / monitoring the run-off. Dial back the potassium a little in future grows, so by the time you reach harvest it's still sub-toxic.

So far this week we will be watching the health and growth of this Mimosa Evo by Barneys Farm. She smells sooooo good. These buds are honestly crazy dense and sticky😏. She will only be getting some Un-sulfured Black Strap Molasses only for this week and next week and then water only until harvest. I cannot wait to dry and cure this lady and take my first toke 😐😶😏.

I have been keeping an eye on Temps as they were climbing into the mid upper 80s. I decided to duct the outside air to an intake fan (as it is 50 degrees Fahrenheit average) and have been able to maintain temp night and day between 65 -75 degrees. This Mimosa Evo by Barneys Farm is quite the suprise. I feel like she kept her secrets till the end no doubt as we watch her change in week 8 from a regular looking plant, into a very frosty and colorful beauty. It smells soooo good I am literally on the edge of my seat in excitement to share with friends and family 🤘🍻.

Really solid strain. It was vigorous in the veg cycle, and responded well to training. She is a dense plant so be weary as this pheno was very bushy. Next go round as I do plan to grow more of this strain I will be defoliating a lot more. She came out crazy strong in the end. Her smell and colors 😍 would make any cannabis connoisseur drool. She is dank ....I actually did not notice until I started chopping and whew it hit me like a hurricane of orange and sweet piney dank. I love Barneys Farm genetics and can't wait to pick out my next Barneys strain. see this grow on Youtube : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSVtUbv_2YJipXQyvV5fARg
