Put the 4 seeds on a wet cotton disc, sprinkled some great white and topped them off with a damp cotton disc. Inside the ziplock I put them in the controlled environment. Heating mat heated from below to 25°C and a heating rod heated air to 24°C. 24 hours later, all seeds cracked and showed root.

A little more about the setup: Full organic Canna pro plus soil with an 1:6 perlite ratio. A heating mat(25W) for ideal root condition. A heat rod(45W) for ideal room temp. Insulated the tent for temperature controle. 5w oscillating fan. Intake air is carbon filterd. Day 0: in soil with 30 ml water ph6.2 + a couple sprays of water. Trying to up the humidity. Added a citrus plant for company. Humidity and temp fluxuate dure to the new setup. Day 1: seeds coming up, waterd with 5 ml great white mycorriza solution each, 10 ml plain water. Humidity+temperature stabilised at 50%/25.5°C Day 2: showing some Greene, getting the first leaves. No water, trying to stretch the roots. Soil still moist. Trying not to over-water. Day 3: showing a little leaf! We're on our way! Allready roots coming out of the bottom of the container. Looks like the great white mycorriza is doing it's thing. Gave the girls some more mycorriza enriched water(5ml) and some regular water on top(10ml). Ph 6.3. Not starting rhizotonic too early, but the girls do look hungry. I'm A little afraid that that the lights are too bright but the girls seem to like it thus far. Room got a little dry at 40%RH so I sprayed it down a little, got it up to 60%. Container heat steady at 22, room 24, going strong! Praying for my babies. RH keeps dropping to 40% and I don't want to disturb too much with the spray bottle, so I opt for an extra watering. 30ml each. Since the roots started showing allready (great white mycho payed off) I'm starting to add (bio) rhizotonic in a light 1:1000. Ph 6.3. Day 4: steady growing, looks like some first leaves are having a hard time.getting rid of the seed shell. Don't know what to do, guess I'll let the plant figure it out :) Water 75ml each, 1:1000 rhizotonic, ph 6.3. root temp 23°C, chamber 25. Night temp 16°C Day 5: removed seed shells, looked at the roots, some allready start turning dark. Really regretting not putting these badgirls in the final container directly. Soil was still a little moist so decided to give no water. Hoping to heal the roots a little. Planning on transplanting in about 5 days. Day 6: roots shooting out, transplanting is moved up. Drying the pots out today for the transplant. Day 7: transplanted and sprinkled mycorriza on the roots and in the pot to minimize root stress.

Day 8: calming down from the transplanting, feeding plenty mycho chum, mycorriza and rhizotonic to help the roots settle. RH: day 40-50 night 50-60 Temp: day 24°c, night 16°c Day 9: Seems like the two biggest girls have really settled into their new container. The lady in the corner needs some more time to adjust since I snipped one of the roots while transplanting. It's ok, since I want to train out the two biggest plants to the empty space where the heating rod is located. The soil has settled nicely and the geotex containers from zamnesia makes sure it's airated properly. I was a little unsure of how much liquid to use, so I settled on 600ml each. It keeps the outer layer of the pot a little moist while the inner/lower layer gets nice and wet. I'll keep feeding the soil mycho chum and the roots rhizotonic and mycorriza. RH upped a little: day 50-60 night 50-60 Temp: day 24-25c, night 16-17c Lowered the light a bit, trying to read the plant in what it needs. Really should use my lux meter and calculate the par. If I have time, I surely will. I'm keeping the runt around as a little pet project. Might move it out of the tent later, maybe transplant it to a small pot. It seems to have a deficiency. The soil and its nutrient availability should be on point so I'm wondering if it's a genetic defect. Might inform the seed bank. Day 10: I've kept the runt around, just to see what happens. A regular feeding as allways. RH: day 50-60, night 60-70 Temp: day: 24-25, night 16-18 Day 11: got the runt a new home. Added bioVega to the feeding of the main tent. Day 12: a day without any nutrients or water Day 13: regular feeding, temp and RH are steady. Day 14: again, regular feeding, looks like we have some growth coming up! I keep forgetting to take pictures.

Day 14: again, regular feeding, looks like we have some growth coming up! I keep forgetting to take pictures. Day 15-16-17: Allright, I have been slacking on this journal a little since it's my exam period. Nonetheless I've made a big change. The temperature fluctuations creeped me out a little so I decided to go 24 HR lights. The girls seem to react very well and have accelled their growth. The canopy temp hold steady between 26.5 and 27.5, the room temp is a steady 23-24 and the soil temp never drops below 20. I feel really good about these temperatures. Humidity around the soil is 70 and around the canopy 50-60, very nice. I keep playing around with the pH between 6.1 and 6.5, as to give the roots more chances to access different nutrients. Hence the next big change, I've been cutting down on the waterings/feedings. Now I wait 48-72 hours between feedings and feedings are 500-600ml of organic nutrient dense water. The roots are stretching like crazy with this technique. There's a little hole in the bottom of one of the geotex pots and there's allready coming a little root out of there. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that little white spike. Next, I raised the pots off the ground a little to prevent mold and increase air flow to the soil and roots. The heating mat might lose some efficientcy but I really got to watch out for mold with this setup. I lowered the light to about 50cm off the canopy. I see a little leaf curling but I don't know if that is light stress or something else. Anyway, the growth has been explosive since these changes and I'm optimistic about the future! I've contacted the seedbank about the genetic variations I've seen thus far, wondering what is up the the leaves. I'm really trying to make more photos but today I'm leaving for a couple days so I might miss some stunning growth. Day 17-18-19-20: I've been out of town and a fellow grower has been taking care of my ladies. He did quite well, as you'll see next week

Week 4: forgot the comment Day 21-24: Allright, we've been busy so daily updates are impossible. I've done a lot of LST this week, starting at D21. The plants are so damn bushy that it's hard to lst without hurting the plant. I've allready snapped a branch and felt bad about it all day. I need to be careful with these babies. I thought about cutting rhizotonic out of the regiment but it's such a light affective, I'll keep it in for a while. I'm playing with the amount of water I'm giving the gals. Now that they are starting to grow more they need more nutrients and water. The leaves tell me when to feed. It goes from once every three days to every day, depending on the signs that the plant gives. I sometimes just give plain ph6.5 water, when I feel they have enough nutrients but look thirsty. The LST has been going good so far, today (D24) I really went hard on leaf-tucking. Since it's my first grow here, I'm scared to start defoliation. So tucking is my preferred option. I'll turn the pots around a little to give some light to different parts of the plants. The smell is coming in allready and it makes me very happy. One plant has some strange spots, I'll ask a grower question about that. I thought it was calcium or magnesium so I added more calmag but to no avail. So it might be a fungus or it might be light burn. The lamp is 50 cm away but might be too I tense for these ladies... I'll just wait and see what the growers say. D25: I was contemplating the discoloured leaves and decided to check the literature. Phillip Adams has a delightful overview in his book "marijuana indoor growing" pages 30-31, of signs of nutrition dysfunction. From here on I think I might have overdone it with potassium. The mychochum has some potassium in it, which I used every feed. Now that might have locked out calcium and magnesium. Hence the yellow rusty spots. I'll take out the mychochum for a week or two, just to see if the plants recover.

This week, day 28-35, I haven't had enough time to update every day. There was a major humidity problem where humidity would be so high it literally rained inside the tent. I have installed a good dehumidifier and now the humidity is stable between 40% and 60%. I also started the week out with a little trim. The ladies look really content with their haircut. They continued growth like nothing happend. Also we started to preflower. There are allready small flower sites starting. This will probably be the last week of training, mainly LST and trimming. I have done a good job getting an even canopy on the left plant, but the right ones are still a little uneven. I hope I can make this canopy even out! Nutrients I change out the mychochum out for pH down when the plants give signs of potassium overdose. I pay very close attention to the leaves for this. I think it might be time to start the flower nutrients.

This week, day 42-49, I've come back from vacation and continued my care for the ladies. I noticed I havent updated the height well, so now they are around 60 cm. It's been a little cool, around 22-23°c some times a day and the RH has been a little high for flowering, around 70. I feed every other day. I did a light molasses feed In between but the girls start sweating like crazy when I feed in between days. So I think, every other day is fine. The left plant seems to grow the fastest and righest buds, despite some deficiency. Because of the lagging of the two right plants, I defoliated them a little. I think Im too late with the defoliation and might have stunned them and killed some of my harvest. The left has visible trichomes and the rights don't ... I really wonder what's going on

My girls seem to have a deficiency, strangely enough, the gal with the most signs of deficiency is doing the best in bud production. Any ideas on what is going on here and what is the cause of the deficiency? There is also some purple on the stem

Just going to jump back in here and disagree with my growmie who's telling you to use calmag every time you give your ladies water or nutes... please don't! Too much calmag can actually CAUSE a deficiency of other vital nutrients ... it should only be used once a week maximum and since they're in flower, I'm sure you're giving them either water or nutes more than once a week... https://weedmania420.com/growing/can-you-overfeed-calmag-signs-symptoms-and-solutions/

The week was pretty interesting. I installed a new dehumidifier, which got my RH down to 40-50%. Meaning I can water more often. Now I feed every other day (1 liter/plant) and I water every other day (1liter/plant). Once a week I add a molasses blend to the water. Once a week I macro dose CalMag(2ml/l) The two right plants have continued their stretch. I defoliated the right op plant in the back. Now it's in home stretch!

I took all the growers comments from my last grower question and stayed the course. With the new dehumidifier I water 1 liter to each plant every day. -The feedings are once every other day, same water volume. --macro dose of calmag once a week (3ml/l) --myco chum added to the water once a week(molasses mix) --add extra pk 5-8 once every week (3ml/l) The left plant seems to be burning through her nutrients a little faster. Maybe because the lows stress training was the most successful with her. Anyway, her pheno is really something to see. I experimented with some less light but I didn't want to stress my ladies in the last haul of their beautiful lives. So I restabilised the environment and now I hope to harvest in a week or two! I am a patient man, so I will wait for amber thrichomes. I can't capture micro pictures with my phone but the thrichomes are really beautiful. I love looking at my plants and often do so😍

I have been a little busy so I slacked on the mid week photo's. (I really start to appreciate the dedicated gromies that keep up daily journals/photo's) For now, I put my dehumidifier on a 6/6/6/6 schedule, to save some money on the electricity bill. It still works quite fine I suppose. I don't know if it's stressing the gals that much to have RH fluctuate... Anyway, I'm keeping the left plants off nutes for a little while, just to figure out why her tips are burning the way they are. It worries me. The flower development is crazy though, they just seem to keep on making new flowers. Trichomes are mostly still clear but allready getting some Milly's... Counting the days!

Does anyone know what these burnt tips mean? I've laid them off nutrients since someone said nute burn

Burnt straight tips is potassium deficiency. Burnt tips that curl up is nute burn. Very commonly miss diagnosed. Your plant wanted more to produce denser, more potent buds when they told you to back off. Need to be careful on answer you choose. Lots of wrong information that is incorrect from people using Google, and not knowing how to read leaves. All plants even autos need rest. I run a 20/4 on mine. Good luck. 🌱

Pretty much more of the same... I tried defoliating one of em but was very cautious since people told me it's a bad idea to defoliate during flower. These babies seem to love it, so I cautiously continue picking out big fan leaves here and there. I try to open up the budsites, since they are getting really crowded. The flowers seem to keep on growing into bigger, juicier nugs. It's a pleasure to see these babies prosper!

Again, more of the same. I see the piston production slowing down a bit so I think we're going into the last stage of flower. Been plucking away some fan leaves here and there, if they look they're not needed. I believe these girls love getting their hair cut, even in flower. Left plant has nutrient burn, now I am macro dosing her with the nutes ones a week and water the rest of the week. This seems to do the trick since the curling burnt tips have stopped from spreading. Smell is amazing, the girls look amazing and I love watching these babies.

Today I'm doing a mid-week update. The buds are fattening out real nice. The trichome production is really something to behold and the smell is crazy. I took two of the girls out for a little trichome Inspection and a little photo shoot. (Also took some leaves off) Still seems like triches are not even 10% amber. Therefore, harvest is probably still a week or two out.

Happy Harvest Day!
Rated
8/10

Had some pretty fluffee buds, probably due to high humidity. Looking back there were a lot of things I could have done better, but still, the result is pretty damn good. Harvested 159 grams of good buds (rounded it off to 150.) And 35 grams of way to fluffee buds. Pulled QWISO from the stems and fan leaves, which came down to a about a gram or so. Very sharp cherry cola smell.

Dried 14-16 days at 60-70% humidity, 18°c. Trimming was done dry and quite easy. Currently in second week of curing and the smell develops very nice. Sweet fruits of raspberry and cherry. A little woody but also some citrus. Final smoke report will follow in a couple weeks. QWISO from fan leaves and stems was a lot of work and cost a lot of alcohol but the result is a very rich oil. The smell is very cola/cinnamon ish and I look forward to dabbing this. Will be curing for at least a week. A little bit disappointed by the fluffeeness of the buds but the thrichomes are crazy. Had a little test smoke to test the potency and HOT DAMN this is a headknocker. It crushes your cranium with an intense head high and body stone that develops into a relaxing experience. Larger smoke report will follow post curing. Was somewhat pleasantly surprised by the number of grams on my scale. 185 grams on a 150 watt lamp is not bad for a newbie.

That's a huge dose of calmag. You need to be watering/feeding to at least a 10% run off each time or it will bugger your roots up.

@Newbie87, Thanks you for the comment. As for now I will stick to the macro dosing calmag once a week and I don't water to runoff since I grow in organic soil and I want to keep all the nutrients in my soil that I worked so hard for the get in there. Cheers!
