So the seeds are off to a good start.
I will not be adding nutrients for the first few weeks, as the soil contained enough fertiliser.
I will be adding a blumat dropper to each pot, however I want to get the plants going before I do that.
Water PH 6.5 and will be spraying rather than watering initially.
5Gal pots for those who want to know.
Seedlings are looking good.
I have added Blumat classic water stakes to maintain a good moisture level in the soil.
I will change these over to droppers when the plants are bigger.
The plants have really taken off since last week.
As suspected one or more has very slight nutrient burn on the lower leaves, I suspect this being due to the soil being full of mobile nutrients such as nitrogen. My plan of not adding nutrients until after this week seems to have been the right move.
One plant seems to be the runt of the litter and has a severe lean, I am going to let it develop strong roots and see how it goes.
My blumat dropper system arrived. And I will be installing it this week, stay tuned.
Next week the LST will begin.
Had some issues with my internet provider blocking this site, but managed to use a VPN to make this entry.
Still haven’t given the plants and additional nutrients, and likely won’t need to until I see some mobile deficiencies.
No added nutrients to the soil either! Which is odd but I believe the soil is very heavily fertilised already.
The girls have exploded this past week, I am now giving them voodoo juice and tursntuak to build up their root systems is preparation for some big bud.
I have also begun doing lst and light defoliation, my plan is to remove the bottom third before flowering to concentrate growth to fewer sites.
Blumat system is working a treat.
They are now drinking almost 1L per day! Thirsty indeed.
