Just getting one seed ( all I had) wet.
Already got a few more seeds of a different breeder and strain going, but who knows if they will all germinate- might as well sneak in another 😜 🌱 👊🏻
She’s here! She showed her face two days ago- she’s really tall and I decided to just up pot her now so she’s well supported. Hopefully I won’t see any shock, and she’ll take off.
She’s looking good in her ‘for now’ pot. I’ll let her get big enough to top, then after she recovers put her in her final pot. Keeping humidity as high as I can- it was really cold today, I dropped the light two inches to keep things nice and toasty.
What a difference a week makes. She’s looking 👍🏻 today I will be introducing nutrients. My plan is to top her and after she recovers to up pot her to her forever home.
First off I was planning on topping her first and giving her a recovery few days before up-potting. But I noticed today that she had roots sticking out of her pot. So up pot first, and I’ll top her in a few days- maybe 3-5.
It’s been a steady week. She’s clearly loving her bigger pot and has grown to be the tallest girl in the tent. Today I will water them, and do a bit of leaf tucking to help side shoots fill out.
Missed adding an update last week- a lot going on. She has grown a ton. I’ve done a bit of defoliation to open her up more, and added a few bends to aid in their growth.
I went ahead and increased nutrients, but the plants don’t seem to happy with the level of nitrogen, so I’m backing off a bit. She’s definitely showing the most dramatic ups and downs - i checked light height, 26 inches over canopy, and both light dimmers are set to 7 of of 10.
Another week in the books. Getting close to flip time. Going to raise feed amounts a bit and see if she’s ready for it. Added a few more bends, anything to open up more bud sites before the stretch.
Today is the first day since switching to 12/12. Wasn’t sure to list it as veg or flower, but decided to go with veg since it’s only been a minute. Next week will be listed as flower, as at that point they’ve completed a full week.
She’s incredibly hungry and needs to be watered more frequently- and if she isn’t she’s a real drama queen.
Photos were taken minutes after the lights came on, so she’s still a bit droopy.
She’s definitely hungrier than the frosted guavas I’ve got going in the same tent. And likes to be watered every two days. And she’s a droopy. But I’m dying to find out what’s so fuckin’ incredible about her
She’s still the most dramatic girl of the bunch. She getting a stronger feed than the others also. Her green isn’t as dark as the others.
Another week and I’ll do a bit of defoliation to let a bit more light in.
Chugging along. Three weeks into flower- 21 days. I did a bit of pruning today to make the most of each developed top cola. She’s gotten a bit of her green back since I upped her nutrients at feed.
She’s the biggest in the tent. Still a long way to go- she’s definitely a bit more hungry for nitrogen than her tent mates. I’ve lost a few of the under leaves do to lack of light, but nothing major or troublesome
Looking great! I think she’s going to be finished a bit faster than her tent mates. Gotta love plant Jenga when drying. Anywoo tops are looking close, but her lowers are not quite there.
Skipped update on her yesterday because she was really in need of watering and I wanted to give her a chance to spring back. He tops look great- not quite there yet- which is fine. She’ll tell me when she’s ready.
She’s so close! Starting a strict water only feed from today on out. I’m planning on taking her down in a weeks time. Just gonna fade her and see if she’ll plump up anymore.
This will be her last update before her harvest in just a few days. She has some pretty well defined tops- but her lowers are quite larfy. Lots of crystals.
She seems lovely and I’m so excited to give her a taste. Hung to dry. Weather looks like rain for the next few days so I’ll have to be more aware of the humidity in the tent.
