First ever grow, DWC!!

First week done, I think my plant might have experienced some trauma while being transplanted and I am having a very hard time keeping my PH and PPM balance as my PH keeps rising (I have uploaded a picture of the PH and PPM values from the week). There hasn't been a lot of growth over the first week and it seems the lower two leaves are not during too well... If anyone has any idea as to what might have happened to them, it would be much appreciated!

So after my first week of very slow growth, there has been a little more happening this week and I am definitely learning a lot and finally have seemed to get a little bit of a hang of how to better keep the PH under control a little and she seems to have responded okay to the added nutrients(Maybe I went a little high with them). I have also after some research realized that I might want some more nutrient products, so I am currently waiting on my order of Silica Blast, Hydroguard, and CalMag arrives tomorrow. This also means that I have pushed her water and nutrients change until tomorrow when I can also incorporate the new nutrients. uhh I am a little worried about the roots on my girl, I am not quite sure but really not hoping it is the start of root rot...

Well, this week has been rather rough... She is not doing too well and I def think it is the root rot that is causing my main issues, she actually started the week out showing some good growth (was hoping she was gonna go stellar past the root rot with the introduction of Hydroguard and Silica Blast, but no...) but after a couple of days, she slowed down growth significantly and started to droop more and more every day and started to show some deficiencies that I again believe the root rot is causing. Also still having some issues keeping my ph from rising. Over the last couple of days, she has started to look really sad, definitely thinking it's the root rot... Would love any suggestions for methods to try and save my girl, I have seen an increased amount of new more healthy-looking root growth.

So after a rough week 3, she is fighting back harder this week, and it seems like cleaning the infected roots and pruning as much of the affected roots as I could help out with the root rot and her recovery. I assume that the Hydroguard also helped out a lot in the process! But this week has in general been better her number has been more stable even though I am still trying to figure out the right balance for her and I am also still trying to figure out how to best keep the grow environment in the best most stable place. We also saw her first pistils at the start of the week so I am hoping she'll really go into flower this coming week! I am still learning a lot, but we can only get better with time! So this week has been going a bit better, but I kinda feel like I might just have been lucky and she's starting to settle into the grow conditions, I feel there might be more obstacles in the future but we hope 🙏 She has definitely grown a lot over the last week compared to the previous weeks and has started slowly shooting pistils out more and more places, I still think we're a bit from full flower but since I'm seeing a lot of pistils I'm counting this as week 1 of flower (let me know if I'm wrong here, still my first grow) I fed her her first early flower nutes this week too, to hope to promote the flowering some more! I also tried to do a light lollipoping of the lower leaves that are not getting any light due to my earlier mistake of planting too deep in the net pot, I hope it does not stress her out too much! Big swings in the temperatures and humidity are still an issue due to me trying to combat the tent getting too hot and heating up the water in my buckets, but I think I might have done a smart little trick in taking an empty square tub that the 5gl bucket could fit into and placed in the tub and poured water at 65 degrees in there which have seemed to cool the water in the bucket down to 68-69, and every morning I change a frozen water bottle put in the tub to keep it cool! I'll have a picture in next week's diary with an update on if it works well or if it's not worth it (just did it yesterday). So this week might have been the first week without any real problems! She has definitely stretched a bit and seems to be going more into flower🙌 I can't wait for her to start building real buds! I did some light LST of the side branches, the main one is getting too thick and I'd be worried about snapping her in half... I also did some light defoliation due to her becoming quite bushy, have heard that you should try not to defoliate your autos too much but I felt she really needed it and I kept it to a minimum. Her feeding dosage was also upped from 1/2 to 2/3 of recommended to see how she would react🙏 Hopefully there are more good things to come and I hope the smell will start to really develop here soon! So she grown quite a lot this week I can see after looking at last week's update, I'm very happy that I am progressing through this grow without major issues but still happy that I have run into some though, just to keep me on my toes and learning! She is starting to drink a lot more now, so I have had to change the res with 3GL of new solution twice the last week and expect that is going to continue until harvest but I'll be happy to feed her if that's what she asks for!🙏 I think she's about done with her stretching now and I am hoping to see her start to fill out with some bud here over the next week, I'm also not seeing any trichomes yet and her smell is quite weak still but again hoping for the to start changing here soon!!! Not much to say this week, I feel like I'm starting to have the water temp more under control, and the same goes for the general environment! Definitely still got lots to learn and luckily there were no issues this week, I'm just hoping the issues won't happen the closer we get to harvest!! 🙏 I think she's now done stretching and is focusing on bud development hopefully, and I'm finally seeing some trichome development🙌 Happy growing everyone!! So I've been a bit more busy this week outside the garden so I'm missing numbers from one day and pics from a couple, but outside of that everything is still going smooth! I am still wondering if I need to pick of some more fan leaves to create more airflow or if it's too late into flower? She's a big drinker with me now having to refill 2 gallons every 2 days so there has been some more heavy lifting recently but I can't complain that she's drinking😂 The smell in the grow tent has definitely increased a good amount since last update so it's getting harder to leave tent once I'm in there! 😅🙏 Thank you to everyone for the good advice and I hope to see some good updates from you guys on your grows! Hi everyone! This has been a pretty busy week outside the grow tent so have had less time to spend with the girls and have forgotten to take pictures some days. But outside of that everything is going pretty well with my girl, she's still thickening up (hopefully she'll start to put some real weight on soon!) and drinking a lot, so I'm having to top her off every other day besides the weekly res change. It also seems like she's starting to consume less nutrients over the last week so I might be running a bit high and I'm probably gonna roll the EC back a bit! Hi everyone! So nothing really of note to report this week, she is definitely getting closer to harvest as she is uptaking significantly less nutrients now than she did a week or two ago so I have had to go down on nutrients and will probably have to lower it even more as it is still raising daily. She is also getting a bit fatter and denser but I'm really hoping to see some improvement here over the last weeks🙏 I have again been pretty busy outside the grow tent this week building and setting up an outdoor gardening area at our house for my girlfriend to grow her vegetables, fruits, and flowers so I have had less time to be in there and have forgotten to take pictures some of the days. But it has been lucky that I haven't really had any problems to attend to in the tent so all I have had to do is the daily PH and EC measurements and then change the water every other day. Not much to report this week, everything seems to be going pretty well! I wish she would fatten up a bit more but she definitely has a bit more time left so hopefully she'll get there! The tent has gotten to the point where the carbon filter has been vital for me over the last week, she's got a nice earthy and pine smell and so do two of her sisters and the last one has a lot more berry fruity notes to her smell so would be awesome if I got some different flavor profiles! Missed some things two of the days due to being super busy so she suffered a bit in terms of adjusting EC and PH levels through top-offs, but she seems to have taken it fine! I was really hoping that she would be closer to harvest by now, but I will have to be patient and let her run her course!🙏 Happy growing everyone and I'm hoping everyone's grows are going well! Not much to report this week, she seems to be coming towards the end finally as she is now barely consuming any nutrients and is almost only drinking water as even when I give her a low feeding the next morning when I check on her again the EC has gone up significantly and the PH has dropped significantly (I assume this means she's getting close to flush time) I gave her an even lower res change today at 0.60 EC and 6.19 PH and will she how she likes that and if the same keeps happening I think it's about time for the 1-week flush! 🙏 Please let me know if I might be wrong here and if there is anything else should do😁 Ohh were are starting to see some yellow fading of the leaves which I again assume is a sign that the end is near🙏 Happy growing everyone! and thank you for the encouraging comments!

Hi everyone, I hope everyone had a good 420 and that all is good! Not much to report here this week, she is getting really sticky and smelly, and have filled out a bit more over the last weeks. I lowered her feeding even more over the last week and she is still taking in more water than nutrient solution, so I have decided to start the flush today on day 98 and will hopefully harvest later this week! 🙏😁 I am honestly so excited for the day to come, this grow has taken a bit longer than expected but it's been amazing and so fun to start my growing journey with this girl who has outgrown any expectations that I had for her. I'm only doing a diary for 1 of the girls but as you guys can see I have 3 more that are all a week or two younger, but when I started I told myself that I would be happy if I could get 4-6 oz in total for all 4 girls, as this was my first grow and I wanted to set expectations that I could achieve, and I can almost for certain say that I will exceed my expectations! So I'm definitely so happy with my first grow so far and I have a lot of people in here to thank for some great advice! Happy growing everyone🙏

Not much to tell this week, happy to say that she's been doing well over the last week while she has been flushed with ph'd tap water! She is now getting close to harvest time, I think I might let her flush for a couple of days more before I harvest her😁 She is a little older and further along than the rest of the tent, so she will be the only one to be harvested and I will let the three other run until I see amber trichomes develop on them! I planted her a little earlier than the three others to allow me to use her as my "test dummy" for my first run, and so I could make corrections for the other three early on! But even though she has been my tester and has taken a bit of abuse from time to time while I was still more unsure of everything at the start, she has still turned out way better than I ever had dared to hope for when I started this journey over 100 days ago, and the heavy aroma shes giving off is amazing and she has developed some of the more dense nugs out of my four girls so far! 🙏 But yeah I'm thinking that I will harvest her tomorrow or the day after at the latest to let me get a trail run off on drying before I harvest the other three girls, just to make sure I get that process down! But the next update that I will come with will be after the harvest if things goes to plan, and like I said I am soo excited for that day to come and get my next run started! 😁 Happy growing everyone! and thank you for all the encouragement and comments, it has really helped a lot and I will for sure stay active on the community and make a dairy for my next run too!

So I harvested this girl on the morning of day two in this diary entry, so I have chosen to call this week the last week of flower week 16, I will make my next diary update as harvested when she is dry and trimmed so I can get her weight in that diary entry! This week's update will be a bit shorter since I will be giving a longer update next time around talking about my first-ever grow as an experience as a whole and give an update on the bud hopefully with some good pictures and results!🙏 But the harvest went smoothly, and I had to build a homemade dry box for the first couple of days since the 4x2 tent I had ordered to do the dry in had got delayed... but I actually think the dry box I made worked perfectly fine! We, unfortunately, had two days in a row where we all of a sudden had 90 degrees with 90% humidity outside all-day and then on top of that the first day the ventilation system I had set up had a failure which caused the humidity to spike, but I think I caught it early enough and got the ventilation going again getting the humidity down again. So I am finally done with my first ever grow and I will say that I am very happy with the outcome and that I definitely loved the process of growing her out and caring for her! I will start germinating for my next grow when I harvest the other three girls next week and I will start a diary for the grow too as I have grown to really enjoy the community here and have learned a lot while scrolling around in here! I would like to say a special thank you to all the people on here that have given me advice and help through the comments or private messages and I can say that I have made my first grow buddies, I don't know if I would have nearly as good a result without the help of my new grow buddies! And now it is all about staying on the course and continuing to learn while trying to help out others to get to the results they desire or past those results like I was able to! 🙏 Happy growing everyone!! and thank you for this time around!
