WEEK #8-Mar 19 to March 25 3/19-Did mini-flush w Ph balanced water only to see if I could get runoff ppm and ph in sync. That reduced the ppm levels and the Ph levels were closer to 5.0. 3/20-Waited 24 hours to water this morning and the runoff Ph levels were at 5.1 and ppm at 960 which is now considerably below inputs (1250 ppm). Plant is looking very healthy and I think we managed to cleanout whatever acid buildup that was happening. Cut a couple more of the lower branches to focus plant energy on the 8 major branches. Buds are starting to stack now and I'm looking forward to seeing how this approach plays out with quality and quantity. 3/22-Runoffs are in sync now with inputs. I was watering 2X a day which I think was not allowing the roots to dry out a bit. Now I've switched to one big watering once a day. I think its allowed the roots to dry out a bit each day and the plant is looking very healthy. It has now stretched to 22 inches tall. Buds are starting to stack a bit. Each day I 'widen' the canopy a bit w LST to get as much light on the growing number of buds. This one is really starting to shape up nicely. 3/25-Solid week of growth. Buds are starting to stack nicely and getting frostier. Runoffs are good. She's looking good as we head into the last few weeks.
