Preflowers have grown nicely and the the girls are stretching and putting out bud sites. I have turned the Spider-Farmer G4500 to full power, I started them at 75%. I still defoliate here and there but I give at least 3 days in between and try not to take too many leaves to avoid stressing them. The focus of my defoliation began in the early weeks underneath the netting and canopy. Removing extra leaves and small shoots that would of developed popcorn buds. With those being clear and taking fewer leaves now that they are in flower (5-10 at the most, they are pretty bushy) I am for the leaves that would cover bud sites only or restrict airflower around the colas as they fatten later. Big bud joins the regimen of nutrients this day as it is now Week 2 of flower. I am following their nutrient calculator carefully to avoid nute burn. They are taking 5 liters of water every other day in their 7 gallon pots (liters for the midget in a 5 gal), feedings every other watering still (twice a week). Terpinator is being given every watering, and increased to 10 ml.
Amazing results, especially if that's how you've been giving the nutrients. Flawless finish. Kills all other activity in your sub. Well, it does when it goes in after you've stopped nutrients.
Your buds look great. I'd flush them plants at least 4 days on just water. You don't want any Terpinator left in your bud..
Good luck
Checking my diary I realized I missed explaining something lol. The flawless finish wasn't in the nutrient mixture, I started using it at the end of week 14 and had given one last feeding earlier in week 14. So all of the nutes were together except for the flawless finish which I used separately. I went with a half hour soak first, watered the pot as normal with the flawless finish until saturated and after a half hour flushed about 10 gallons of water through each 7 gallon pot.
Thank you! I appreciate it, still new to growing my first was a set of closet autoflowers. Finishing the last week on journal the flowers are drying now and almost ready for trim and to weigh. I ended up flushing them for about 9 or 10 days and the fade was beautiful especially on 100K she's becoming one of my favorites. Started as bright scarlet (I think from Red Runtz parentage) but darkens to practically black and I love the way it accentuates all the white frost on the buds and some of the leaves
Thank you! My first run had temperature issues but I have an AC window unit for the room now and with temps in better range I definitely have denser and frostier buds this round
Thank you! Gotta spend some time updating my diaries i forgot them a bit but kept track with pictures. Different strains, it'll be easier for me moving forward keeping diaries lol
