Purple Thai ~ feminized

1 week to the Day; seed in soil. Off to a get start…still watering with a spray bottle multiple times during the day. Will wait a couple of weeks before repotting. Contemplating 24hr lights, but will investigate. Growing 4 different plants, each have their own diaries but group picture for the record books! All seeds have germinated! Small successes…🌱🌱🌱 Site keeps changing my temps…🤔

I have 4 seeds that I started at the same time, so they are the 1st class of 2023! Nice root system, added some Rooting Powder to my Ocean Forest soil to prep the new home. I have the lights at 25% on 24hr light cycle. Seems a bit slow to start; last one to germinate….butuuutttt….. Gave a good watering, added nutrients 🌱🌱🌱

She’s been in this pot for a week, had no problems and I can see a wee bit of growth. Everything I read says she’ll be a bit difficult, will keep an eye on her. I think the Cleaner Kelp and new digs are accepted! Changed to a 18:6 light cycle, added an ExHale bag to the tent…. She’s petite…my dandy girl!🌱

Still the petite lady of the bunch, but she’s adorable! I love the uniformity of the leaves…quite a looker. Will give thrive at the next watering. I think a little boost is needed… 🌱

This little lady was off to a slow start, so I e been delaying her move into her larger pot, looks ready now. I’ve ordered some more soil for her, as soon as it arrives I’ll probably transplant and top on the same day. Everything I read about Purple Thai leads me to believe my tent was a bit too cold at night. Now that the lights are at 100%, the tent is warmer and she’s definitely more lively. Still optimistic about this grow!🌱🌱🌱

Bit of a stressful week. It’s time to transplant this little cutie, but I was out of supplies 😫😏 …. the wait was hard on her. I have some yellowing on the bottom leaves and some black spots on a few. Happy Frog 🐸 potting soil arrived today, she’s moving on up! Moved into her 5gal fabric pot, gave her a bit of CalMag and finished with a foliar spray! Will top and begin LST in a bout a week. Fingers crossed! 🐸☘️ It’s warming up a bit, keeping a warmer tent will be much easier.

Great week after transplant! Got my hope back for this little moody lady. Of the 4 planted with her, she’ll be the last to flip to flower, but it may be for the best. She needs more one on one care, different humidity and warmth. I was able to get a LST clip on the main stem, I expect she’ll have enough growth for additional clips soon. I think I struggle with watering, when to do it and how much. I’m going to add an extra day between watering and keep an eye on it.

Ok ok ok…I notice this lady has slower development compared to the other 3 seeds germinated on the same day. Took a moment to review her grow requirements and made adjustments. Thai likes heat and humidity, added a humidifier and I’m increasing temp/humidity gradually. Need to get both closer to 80. Separated her from the others, now in a tent alone. Looks like she’s responding well to that. Added nutes to her water, did a bit of training on some of the stems, they need to get a little longer. Will monitor to see her response; I expect to train more during the week. 🌱

I actually flipped her last week, she finally bushed up a bit. She responded well to to 12:12! 🌱

Not much change this week, she’s a bit taller. I removed a few more fan leaves, although I flipped her, something happened with my timer and I’ve had a few days where the light cycle was more 14:10 or even 16:8… pretty bummed about that but I’m going to leave her in darkness for a couple of days then get start back with 12:12 @ 50% on the lights. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾🌱

She buds! She buds! First signs of buds, quite relieving to see. She’s still slow but steady, she’s stressed a bit; a lovely shade of green. Onward and upward. 🌱

Things are going well. She’s stretched a good bit. The buds are formed; just need them to grow! I had some mildew, got her saturated and boy she’s sexy wet!🤣🤣 Love it! 🌱

Buds are slowly growing and I believe her stretch is slowing. She’s slow and steady. The powdery mildew has cleared; I have a fogger that helped me take care of it. Other than that, leaving her be for a bit.

The stretch is over! Added some nutes for the first time in weeks… I can finally see growth in the buds, not gonna get anxious. She’s a laid back grow…Keep it cool and let her do what she do! 🤭🌱
