Week three in the books and the babies are all still doing great! There were a few that were damaged in one way or another and they have all recovered with a small bit of LST. Added the Voodoo Juice and B-52 from Advanced Nutrients to the feeding this week with all still only being given at 1/2 the recommended dosage.

Grow Questions

Baddawg0509started grow question 6 years ago
How much and how often should I be watering my plants growing in a soil-less mix and 3 gallon pot? I have seen many conflicting arguments. So far I have been giving them 1 Liter every 3 days.

So you sound like you have it dialed in right now. Plant looks healthy. I have read every 2-3 (more like 3) days. Remember the amount will change as they get bigger. Do more research to get more opinions too. Great job so far. My one question is, as a newbie grower, do you have a place, light, space, etc for all these girls? Last comment, dump the stunted one, trust me, it's not worth saving. I had the same issue and the yield was not worth the time/work it took to save her.

So basically you will do flush from next feed onward? Looks about right.

@Baddawg0509, yeah, I think that is about right, with a small feeding tomorrow or so.

@BeefWellingtons, I ended up going into week 14 still giving a small amount of nutrients. Now flushing in Week 15 with a plan to harvest at the end of Week 15.

Oh, about the leaves curling up, often this is from heat/light stress. You have a powerful light, what distance is it from the tops? What is the temps, day/night? (These answers will help people identify the issue. Please add them to your grow every week. Also, do you have a fan yet, blowing gently over the tops?

@Baddawg0509, might want to place the thermometer right next to your most sick looking plant. Also the in that last pic you have the leaves look like slight overwatering. The clip fan (or two) will help. Just make sure you are sending air gently across the tops, not at them as that can cause wind burn. Done right, you will make them nice and strong.

@BeefWellingtons, Distance to light is currently 48in., temps are day-79 night-68, and I have an oscillating fan in the corner (going to get a clip fan soon). I've got everything in a 4x4 tent so should be good there. Thanks for the answers about watering, it's nice to hear someone else say they are looking good, lol.
