Hi everyone and welcome to my grow diary 😎✌️🏽
On the table: FastBuds - Original OG Kush.
Seed was put in a wet paper towel, set in a plastic box on a hitting mat,
(wrapped in a towel so it won't get too hot, you want the paper towel to be just a bit on the warmer side, this method works for me with 100% germination rate - with quality seeds of course - since 2015).
the seed germinated after around 36 hours, and put straight away into a 4 gallon fabric pot.
the young seedling came out and looks happy :)
Day 7,
The Seedling looks great,
i water it just a bit at a time, water mixed with light nutrients solution by GH, Flora trio
Day 15, just when the 5th node started to come out, i topped the plant.
in order to avoid shock for the Autoflower plant, i top as less growth as possible, that way the plant recover fast, and barely noticed the topping ;)
Day 21, The plant looks great and continue to develop ✌️🏽
End of week 4, and the plant looks great!
Photos taken at day 23 and day 28.
on day 23 i did some LST & HST training.
At around day 24 the plant started to show some pre-flowering signs, and on day 28 it started to show first sights of flowering.
the plant is quite short, but wide and very bushy.
I'm a bit concern about the height of that OG, as i like my plants to get a bit taller and bigger for Better yield,
but the plant is definitely make up for it by its bulkiness, and spreading wide nicely. I do hope it will stretch up significantly in the upcoming days.
the plant is very bushy till a point that i thought about early defoliation....
I've decided not to do it at that stage as i don't want the plant to have any hold-backs on the stretching in this point,
I'll definitely defoliate later on, when the stratching stop.
Beginning of flowering and everything exploding ;)
Grow tent (60x60) is about 90% full capacity.
Led lights are at 250w right now, ☀️
Day 33 - i did some more bending and some supercropping, as the branches gave me the chance to do so.
I'm fighting the urge to defoliate the plant, as it get super bushy, but i don't want to interrupt the stretching period, and for the bud sights to grow some more,
So i just bend some large leafs, organise the tops, and defoliate just a bit here and there..🤷🏽
Day 35 - the plant keeps growing and the blooming is officially start 🌱🍒
End of week 6, Beginning week 3 of flower for the OG Kush auto🍓🌱
Plant filled up the 60x60 cm tent entirely, and keep on stretching!
And to think i was worried at the beginning that this plant won't get big 🤦🏽😅.
I noticed some leaf curling/burning a bit, and some bleaching of 2 small leafs (not so sure about the bleaching), so i lowered the intensity of the cree cobs led to total 220W.
This happened to me in my last grow (zkittles auto) as well.
I guess the cobs can get too powerful for a small tent like that.
I'll definitely keep an eye on that issue.
Other then that all goes smoothly;)
- I do some light defoliation to the plant every day,
- in the next few days I'll do the big cleaning - lollipoping 🍭 and full defoliation.
P.s - sorry about the bad lighting in this week's photos, I'll fix that next week✌️🏽
Day 48, end of week 3 into flower 🍓🌱
Plant got a good Lollipopping 🍭and a heavy defoliation.
I've run into a big problem this week, as i noticed the plant is having a light stress..
Lots of leafs got curled up and tip burned😱🤦🏽😞
I turned the lights down to 170w, and it seems the stress on the plant has stopped.
This is my 3rd run with this light setup, and on the last 2 runs i was growing with about 220W with the same setup/tent size.
First one i grew was a Cinderella Jack auto from dutch passion, was 100% perfect with 220w!
Second was Zkittlez by FastBuds, and with her i did saw signs of light stress, but the plant came out perfect at the end.
But this OG Kush auto seems extra sensitive to strong lightning,
I just hope she will recover and produce well 😳🤞🏽🌱
Other then that the plant just keep getting bigger and bigger!! 🤯😍
Its 54 cm high (started the flower at around 30cm!) And she was topped of course,
Absolutely fantastic in that matter!✌️🏽
So.... what can i say about this grow so far?
Its a Love & Hate kind of grow relationship 😂🤦🏽
On one hand, this plant is Hugh, branchy, and grows like crazy, every grower dream!🤩
On the other hand it gives me hell!😤
This Og kush phenotype is super sensitive, despite the fact that a lot of it was my fault as well...
At first it was the sensitivity to the bright light,
Then i realised the EC was sky rocking high!
Apparently i i gave the plant lots of PH down, which raised the EC levels at around 1900! Which gave the plant a crazy nutrient burn.
Luckily i found the problem, and in the past few days i lowered the EC gradually.
Anyway, despite all the issues I'm having with that OG Kush, she's keep on going!💪🏽💚
As you can see the plant is very big, the buds getting bigger by the day, they are super sticky already... I had to defoliate her for the second time with gloves on haha,
I do hope that from now on it will be a smooth ride until harvest,
crossing my fingers 🤞🏽🌱
Day 63 from seed, about 5 weeks into flower 🌹✌️🏽🌱
Plant has finally stopped growing vertically, stopped at 57 cm,
Considering the topping and LST, that's pretty high i would say.
Had to do another huge defoliation and cutting down all immature branches and popcorn buds.
Also started to add Atami bloombastic (pk14-15) for the second stage of flower.
All in all everything is going smoothly now, buds getting bigger in size, although still fluffy.
Hopefully they'll get danser in the next week or so🤞🏽

Day 70, end of week 10, about 6 weeks into flower for the OG Kush, and everything goes smoothly ✌️🏽😊
The plant keep putting on some weight and size, and starting to give signs that she's about to finish! 😋
Trichomes seem mostly cloudy, although there are some clear as well, i have a feeling I'll start see amber in the next week... So tomorrow I'll decide if its time to start flushing or not.
For me deciding when to start flushing always seems like the hardest choice to make during the growth cycle 😅😂
Anyway this monster plant looks great!
buds are cover in resin all over, and the weight start to feel good.
This phenotype is very different then a classic OG Kush when it comes to the bud appeal, as fast-buds describe the buds as rock hard (like a classic kush should be),
The buds on this phenotype are more open in structure....🤷🏽
They still looks amazingly frosty and delicious though 😋
So, next week, harvest or not, we shall see😎✌️🏽🌱
Auto OG Kush - by FastBuds
growing this strain was a very unique experience!😍
She started slow, up until week 3, when suddenly she took off like crazy! Stretched up beautifully and filled up the 60x60 grow space easily! 💚
She was grown in a 4 gallon fabric pot, and got topped once.
Then the weird part happened at the beginning of flower, when she started giving me signs of light burn/curling leafs, and a spike in the EC which was my mistake,
I immediately lowered the wattage to 170 from 240, and flushed her.
I guess we still making mistakes and learning how to grow after almost a decade of growing weed 😅
After she was stabilized again, things went smoothly,
I don't know if it was this specific phenotype, or the problem she got into in early bloom, but unlike what i was expecting from this plant, the buds got open in structure instead of been dance as a kush variety should.
From what I've seen in other grows here with this strain, i guess i gut a very different phenotype, as the grow conditions were pretty much perfect, and the plant, despite the problem at one week kept getting hugh! 💪🏽
The plant was super fast from start to finish! Only 77 days from seed to harvest that's very impressive!😱 Especially when you take into consideration the big size and yield!
That fast finish is also an indication of the plant getting the best conditions he could, temperature, humidity etc...
Speaking of yield, mixed feelings about it.
She yielded 250G.✌️🏽😎
120g of high quality buds, and 130g (!!) Of leafy popcorn buds which will become bubble hash.
That's an impressive number by all means, but i was expecting that number to be higher, and of big dance buds.
In my two previous grows, with the same conditions i was growing:
zkittlez auto from fastbuds, she yielded 270G of heavy buds! And she was much smaller in size.
Before the Zkittlez, i grew auto Cinderella Jack from Dutch Passion, that plant was AMAZING, and yielded 305 of prime buds! (Could been more, as i lost around 20g mold).
Nevertheless, the buds came out SUPER frosty!! Above 20%+ THC for sure😍😋
I couldn't resist and smoked a sample of her, and YES!! She is an OG KUSH for sure! 🔥💪🏽
Perfect heavy stone, taht act relatively fast and stays for hours! Very potent starin without a doubt!💚💚
All in all I'm very much recommending this starin to anyone who looks for a big plat that will produce amazingly stony kush buds in a very short amount of time!👏🏽💚😋
I have one more seed from that strain, wich i hope to try again soon, with hope to get even better results from a different phenotype, so stay tuned 😉

Light was plenty in this grow, but most definitely overfeeding 🤦🏽 accidentally fed around 2.0 Ec without knowing it ...

Yeah i got some issues with her in early bloom, like crazy nuts problems, i think it was a combination of too much light and a huge spike in the EC i did by mistake,
I managed to fix the problem relatively fast 😅🤦🏽
