First time growing in a tent and I've got no clue what this strains gonna be like but well worth a try. Gonna start low stress training as soon as the first leaves appear and go from there.
Some have come up quicker than others and one of my seedlings got light burn from poor watering practices but I think it'll be alright.
I've started low stress training on three of the plants that have this first leaves showing. I'll be keeping these as low as possible using wire hooked over and pushed into the ground until I see the first stages of flowering. This will hopefully promote new growth along the main stem.
It's all going pretty well. There some light burn on one of the plants. Another is a little stunted. But in general everyone looking pretty good for week three
Starting this week with a little calcium or magnesium deficiency so I've pH balanced the water, not something I usually bother doing this early on and added and some cal mag.
Everything's looking fine but a couple of them do look a little stunted. They still look like they've grown a fair amount this last week. With a bit of luck and consistency in going for some big plants. Probably gonna install the drip system this week to just automate the watering schedule and that will be a bit of trial and error.
My gal in the top right seems to be doing the best but I think all the plants I started with lst from early veg are doing way better than the two I started training later. The four I started training early seem to all have 4 main branches and there might be time for one or two more to poke out.
Think I might need to start thinking about defoliating and ill give that a Google later so I've got a more up to date idea of what I'm doing as it's been a while.
I've got some fly's 🐜, that don't seem to be a huge issue right now but I think I need tov deal with it. They probably live in the most soil so I recon I can probably just treat it with some diluted alcohol and fair perhaps.
Started to notice the start of flower mid week at a similar time I also started noticing issues with some of the plants. I can't really say what's causing these issues, everything was looking really good until a couple of days ago.
A couple of thoughts. This looks a ph imbalance but I've checked the pH and it's in the 6-7 zone sitting around 6.6. I changed the nutrient solution at the start of flower so it could be some kind of shock but I think I started seeing these symptoms prior to that change on the top left plant.
I saw spider mites on the fig tree that I've since removed. I treated it and my plants with a solution of alcohol, washing up liquid and water. Part of me thinks that the solution could have been well off. The fig didn't look all that great anyway but one of the leaves has similar symptoms so I wonder if this could be chemical burn or even light burn where the leaves didn't dry enough before the lights came on?
Everything's in full recovery after last week's chemical burn. Some of the leaves still look a little sketchy but they'll come off as i defoliate.
It looks like I've got between 5 and 9 bud sites per plant and probably around another week of stretch. I'd like a bit more height so here's hoping.
I don't know what I'm gonna do about the humidity. I've got a dehumidifier but it's not touching it, I'll throw up an extractor fan this week and see if that does much to help.
Three weeks into flower. My plants are maybe looking a little smaller than I'd have expected but I can count teen or eleven good bud sites.
I've pruned and defoliated and most of the leaves have been yeeted. Maybe a little heart wrenching tbh and I'm still not if I went a little hard at a couple of the plants but hey ho... I'm sure it'll be fine 😅
Week 4 of flower looking strong. My plants have come up kinda small as I think I've mentioned in the past. I recon this is likely to do with the side of the pots and I'll be taking this into consideration next time.
Buds are fastening up nicely but I'm wondering if I should defoliate again it if that's even advised. It'll be something I'll do as little research on late tonight
Week ten is looking good. There's a few photos of the three that are looking the healthiest. Next time more soil and bigger pots are in order! I should make a running list of the things that either didn't go to plan or that I could have just done better 🤪
That said I'm pretty happy with these guys and when I harvest I'll try and summarise some of those points.
Everything's looking good. Some of the fan leaves have started to turn yellow. Over half the pistols are brown and everything's looking good for harvester. Starting the flush now and the next post should be the big chop
Man these gals look so good. They're thick and that mint of people makes so much difference. I must admit I probably have them a bit of chemical burn at the start of flower. They bounced pretty well but maybe they would have been bigger. Still the bud looks so dam banging and the purple leaves looks so good
