She started as a part of a 3 strain diary 4 weeks into Grow because I moved from another diaries. I am just going to copy and post my fist week: Let’s see if I can post every week on this one. My last diary faded out and got so much better at multiple strain growing. This is week 4 of my 4 strains 3 in this diary listed. Started LST & leaf tucking last week. I water every other day at this point and light feeding every other watering. I should have waited a week before LST on the OG it grows real wild the first month and is a mess till budding. The BCN was having a phosphorus deficiency added extra bonemeal and corrected the problem. The Red Jack is growing like mad the fan leafs are bigger than my hang (I am 6’2”) and there stems almost a 1/2 inch thick making it hard to tuck.

She is blooming this is the main reason I split up the diaries they are diifet strain and 2 of them I am new to one being old Jack. She is a fun grow so far. I continued my LST and tucking the leafs Watering on schedule every other day and feeding every other watering The friend that gave me these AirPods didn’t tell me that no matter how meticulous you water you’re going to have a fungus, gnat bloom, and here was my remedy: I let them dry out to the point where I could pick up the pot with one hand Put in a sanitized tub and did a bathtub flush with DE (diatomaceous earth) and mosquito bits in the water it’s all I had on hand. I Took 2 cups of mosquito bits. Soaked them in 2 gallons of water then added my nutrients from above also including beef bone stock powder, blackstrap molasses and filled every hole with DE. Water her with 1/2 gallon of brew This is one of the fastest blooming auto I have ever grown. This is my 20th+ indoor and who know how many outside. The fan leafs are ridiculously huge. The branch that broke healed perfectly until I forgot about it while I was doing my LST rounds, I can be heavy handed when it comes to being her limbs being bent. So I used a bright white zip tie to hold it and visual reminder to go easy

She started to flower, on the microscope pic you can see the red starting to come out. I love growing colorful weed. You break out a bad of red, purple, blue what ever and people will take notice. She is looking very healthy. The DE, mosquito bits, letting pots dry up and flushing did the trick on the fungus gnats no sign since last week. I have found that if you act rapidly to fungus gnats you only need minimal treatment. Let their breeding cycle go a couple times and it’s almost impossible without stressing plant. I have found that that product mosquito bits works phenomenal for stopping their breeding cycle. Have a pic of the bag in the photos. It’s all organic it’s all natural. It’s microbial larvicide. I mix it with my top layer of soil every grow. These Air Pots have hole in the sides and it’s my first time using them, wasn’t warned they are gnat motels unless you have a rigorous watering method. No LST since I noticed all the cola sites. I like to let them ease into flowering the first week because I am heavy handed when it comes to LST. I have had one of my girls turn into a hermaphrodite from heavy LST, strangest cannabis plant you will ever see in your life. Usually for me 5-7 week depending on the strain I give the girls a break from any stress when flowering starts. Then after fist week or so into flower I LST her into the final budding positions and hands off unless a fan leaf has had its life sucked out of it then I clip them. I don’t cut a single leaf while it’s in veg and all most all of the budding cycle. This is my first time with the Red Jack strain. I have no idea what to expect as far as color, budding time or yield. I tend to get the maximum output unless something stresses her, but Growers Choice has never let me down. Other than the budding nothing else going on with this one.

This girl is a beast. I LST from the time it gets its first true leaf. At this point I like to try and divide the plant into its main stalks. After about a few days I start to LST the taller and bigger limbs. I have been finding Millipede and a couple Of centipede not sure if they are harmful or not going to have to research that and I’ll get back to yours I have noticed the more attention you put towards getting light as far down into the plant as possible the more large buds I have instead of a bunch of popcorn buds. That’s why I am pulling all the limbs towards the rim of the pot. I try and get it to the point where I can almost see the bottom of the main stock in the soil when looking down from the top. Then what I do is I tuck all of the fan leafs and then a gently untangle all of the small tiny branches with buds on them to the middle to get more sun so in the end instead of having a bunch of popcorn bags at the bottom of the plant I actually have some pretty decent size buds. She is changing colors. Some reds, dark purple and blue. I got lucky when I accidentally broke a limb early preforming LST she split in to two main stalks and is growing like a hulk. By daily LST training I am going to double my harvest. I wish I didn’t have others in the tent other with I would train her to fill the tent. I did start on a 20/4 for the budding and during the 4 hours of dark I drop temp to 63° through 65°. I have read it helps bring out the color. We will see I have 3 other strains all on the same schedule. This read Jack and one of my other strains have mushrooms growing out of the holes in the sides of the AirPods which I know means this oil is in very good condition I will be taking microscope pictures of the flowers next week just got a little too busy this week

Week 8 and my Red Jack Growers Choice from seed-city.com. The reds and deep purple almost black leafs are popping up. My first time with the strain and she is beautiful. She is by far the fastest auto I have ever grown. I stared my Brain Damage over 2 weeks before her and she is more mature the her sister. So far she is a very easy relaxed grow. No wild scrawny but branches huge fan leafs, guessing that’s part of her speedy growth they are almost twice the size of other stains I have grown. I don’t think lowering the temp at night isn’t really bringing that much more color so I am going back to 75-80 degrees constant. I am the type of grower that put more time into LST than anything else. Once the sugar leafs start popping out then I can start to LST the bigger branches outward and the scraggly ones to the middle so they can mature into nice buds and colas. Witch has always bumped my final harvest up to and over double the average one. I switched up my nutrients to add Fox Farm Tiger Bloom and Grow Big. First time using 3 Fox Farm nutrients. I found a deal I couldn’t pass on cheaper then the Miracle-Gro and pure nitrogen I have been using. I am still heavily preforming LST. I use plastic coated gardening wire and pink twin (be able to see it). I have been finding a bunch of millipedes squirming around in the catch pan after I water. I think they are good cause I know they are carnivores so plant is safe. Have to research if they are harmless or not. Going to ask our community and will get back. I have gotten lucky this grow only real problems have been either my error in being heavy handed breaking shit or the usual from a learning curve using these new AirPots (Small fungus gnat infestation). I rotate my plants often so light has a chance to hit everything.

The colas are starting to form. Getting nice tricombs. Switching to Fox Farm was a blessing. I switched nutrients in the middle of the grow because I found a deal on Fox Farm Trio I could not pass up and I am so happy I did. When I grow multiple strains at once I use either OG Kush or BCN Critical as my control and they are a lot larger than they usually are at this point. I have all her branches in their final budding positions and will stop nutrients in a 7 to 10 days for the last couple of weeks to flush her. First flush with new nutes and want to make sure they are flushed and sucking the life out of the remaining fan leafs. She has lost a lot of her Red colour as she matures. First time growing Red Jack from Growers Choice and it’s been a pleasant experience so far but still got about 3-4 weeks fingers crossed. Her smell is getting richer and sweeter and going to have to start wearing gloves while preforming LST I am starting to get sticky fingers from LST. Will be done in time to pick witch strain is going into the backyard.

I can’t get over how fast this strain is growing. I started a Brain Damage (BD) over 2 weeks before the Red Jack (RJ). RJ has surpassed the BD and will finish at least 2 weeks before the BD. I love the deep rust colour on her leaves. She is getting very stiff at this point to support her colas forming. Any LST is light usually to get some of the smaller buds light. I like to push my plants hard. So much, so they usually take 2-3 weeks longer than the average. I had to add some Mosquito-Bits to my water for a couple of waterings. There were a couple fungus gnats floating around and I like better safe than sorry. I have found with these Smart-Pots watering can be tricky. Too much and you get a huge gnat bloom, so many places for them to crawl out or the soil get to dry to absorb water. I figured out watering I have to go slow. I use a watering can with a long spout and I water till the top is covered in water then let it absorb then repeat till I see it flowing from the bottom and not all the holes in the sides.

Her buds are swelling great. Starting to be covered in white. All the white combined worth the card reads, purple and blacks are making this one of the wildest looking strains I have grown inside. I am using only water no nutrients since Thursday. Her tricomes are starting to get cloudy and I saw 1 tan one. I am guessing 2 weeks till I shove her in the dark. So far no talk problems been pretty much on auto pilot

Week 12 and almost done. I trimmed most of the fan leaves stopped the nutrients last week. Under the microscope tricomes are about 1/3 amber will start the harvesting process next week. Not much more going this week. My OG Kush auto tuned hermaphrodite and I had to pull Zie and stuck Zie in a closet so the Red Jack didn’t go to seed. It did open up room and I LSTed my remaining plants to fill the tent. I put her in the tub and flushed her again because I missed a couple of waterings and the soil started to lock up so I added a few drops of Dawn dish soap to loosen the soil. I have found that a drop or two of Dawn dish soap to soften the water and make it able to soak in to dry soil. The color of her is amazing it’s like a deep purple almost black with red tones throughout.

I said in my comment it’s the fastest blooming auto ever grown. She bloomed in less than a month from seed. The other I have blooming Brain Damage I started at least 2 weeks before other three. Autos for me take 35-50 days to bloom. I figured I could be enjoying the Brain Damage while waiting on others to cure. Looks like I will have my choice
