Ok guys so i have been selected to grow outsome of @fastbuds new unreleased strains which im VERY excited for!!! I will be growing 3 new strains in their own Diary so look for the other 2 here on @Growdiaries ! I DO NOT know what the strains are, All i have is the Initials and this strain is called BDM until Fastbuds Releases the Strain so lets see what we can do with them!
ok guys so the BDM is growing nicely i have dropped my LEDS a little to give them more light so we should see some nice growth shortly! i cant wait to see what this strain does!
Day 14: ok guys so today i started the Ponytail method to help with the side branch development. i tie the fans that are blocking the branches that i want to work on up with a pipe cleaner like a girls ponytail for 8 hrs a day until the branches have achieved the desired growth. that is why the fans look a little beat up from being tied up most of the day. i figured i would show this
ok guys so the BDM is cruising right along! she looks to be an indica strain/pheno being nice and bushy. she showed sex on day 20 and is now starting to get her stretch on!
ok guys so i hooked her up to the drip system on day 24 which is a little later than i usually do it. but we should see some nice growth this week. this girl is very bushy so i defoliated some to open her up and get some airflow in there. i also started light LST to help get some light to the side branches. I also added Mammoth P to the rez for the remainder of the grow until flush at 1Ml/Gal
ok guys so the BDM is one hell of a BUSH! she is now starting to get some separation after i adjusted my light some. She is not showing signs of budding yet so we still got some good growth ahead! Today i gave her some LST and a nice defoliation because of how bushy she is

ok guys so the New FastBuds Strain BDM is growing like crazy! i think she has about stretched all that she is gonna stretch so i have transitioned to bloom nutes now and we will start packing on the buds on this girl and let me tell you what there is an AMAZING amount of budsites on this plant guys! this should be a nice yeild for sure!! Im thinking that this is Blue Dream Matic' and i really hope im right because i miss smoking Blue Dream!
ok guys so i did another video update for this week since the plants are getting too big to take out of the tent without damaging them as i already have from taking them out.😒 The BDM is just doing great right now despite a little messup i had with a pH drift from too much Astroflower. check out the Video!
ok guys so we had some problems this week in the pH department. i have made a video update this week and explain everything in the video. im hoping things get better this week for the BDM.
ok guys so the BDM is doing well, today (day 71) i gave her her 1st terpinator and Flawless Finish feed because she is wrapping up and harvest is close!!! check out this weeks video update.🙏
ok guys so its day 77 for the fastbuds BDM and the end is near! i think i will harvest this girl on day 82-85 just to make sure she is flushed enough. i also started clearing out the top fan leaves and such to get some light to the lowers to help them finish up. i cant say enough good things about this strain, it is just a tank and produces buds all over the place. This will be a GREAT addition to the Fastbuds line up!💪
ok guys so for the smoke report the initial high is a pretty intense head high for about 1-1.5 hr or so then mellows out into a pleasant body high that isnt too grounding and tiresome. i consider this a perfect afternoon weed or even a wake and bake strain if smoked in smaller amounts. i like my wake and bakes to be very sativa 🙏 like fastbuds Green crack. But this is a very very good smoke and the buds just reek of sweet and tart fruity/berryness with some cedar/pine/wood also. im not the best with smells and descriptions but this is what i came up with. i will ask some friends and family what they think in the coming days when i give it out to them. im sure it will be a crowd favorite🙏
Here is the harvest video for the Fastbuds BDM. I will update the dry weight and smoke report when it''s ready!This plant grow into just a massive Beast. I cannot wait to grow this again I already have another seed in water right now. I see this strain being good for LST work and other training techniques as it branches off beautifully. She is also a heavy drinker so be prepared to water often.
Looking great bro. I'm still not convinced by this pony tailing I see being done, I always thought it was lack of light that made plants stretch and look for more light.
@BigDaddyK, i soak the seeds in a cup od water for about 24 hrs until they sink for a little then place them in a wet paper towel inside a dvd case wrapped in a hand towel then ontop of my LED's until i get a .25" tap root or so then into the root riot cube and final pot. hope this helps. i have had a 99% germ rate at this method.

Hi mate just studying your grow youre one of the few who have really documented and shared your methods so thank you for that! Will will be doing 3 of these on my next run and was hoping for some monster yields like you have got. I was curious i see in the first picture of week 3 that you have cut off the first set of fan leaves just above the seed leaves for what reason is this? Hopefully i can follow your grow to a T 😆👍
thankls for stopping by @BuddingBudda, to be honest im not sue why i took the fan leaves off. i usually take off that 1st set of lateral branches not the fan leaf lol good eye my friend! i usually take off the 1st set of branches because i feel it gives more power to the branches above which receive more light than the lowest branch

@BigDaddyK, LUX is not an accurate way to measure LED's and COBS. i would want to use a PAR meter or i forget the name of the other meter that measures micro-moles
Can BD really handle 500ppm right off the bat? DAMN bro, how did you know it would handle those ppms? I started at 0ppm! You hear people say dont feed until week 2 or until the plant turns light green. Props to you anyway! Im going to increase my Blue dreamatic ppm high (slowly), wish me luck!
@Tripaholic88, Theres another grower here who started at 700+ppm, week 1! The plant took it like a beast though! So im assuming you were using the 500ppm scale?
@Thegermling509, if i remember corectly i was feeding at 500ppm including my tap waterppm at the end of week 1 which i agree was a little high as i normally start off at 350-400 ppm
