Bubba Kush from GHS, Old school flavour!

Hi everyone! Fashionably late as always, I'd like to introduce everyone to 4 bubba kush ladies from Green House Seeds! These old school ladies have been well known to have strong narcotic medicinal effects and for that reason alone I wanted to bring them back. These ladies have won cups in the past and I can't wait to find out why :) I have put them into 5 gallon cloth pots and will be sharing a space with my other ladies until they get split up into my 120cm (4x4) tent. I'll be topping them this week at their 5th node. They have all grown really tight and looking wonderful despite a slight over calcium feeding. But they took everything in their stride and now are loving their new home. Anyway stay tuned to see these ladies grow. I'm hoping to fill a full tent using topping and netting so let's see what we can do :)

Hi everyone! A lovely week for the ladies this week. They are growing very well and have started to get alot more thirsty recently. I have given them a light defoliation to help with their new tops development. I'm also maintaining the final week of Green House nutrients Grow for the next few weeks as the ladies grow and I give them some more training. I'm thinking I may top them one more time each in the coming week as I'm hoping for a nice even canopy using a scROG at later time.

Hey everyone. Sorry for the late upload I've had a horrible cold/flu for the past couple of weeks. But I've kept up with the girls :) These ladies have been really great since germinating them. They are strong and hardy plants which have took the over calcium feeding early on without even showing any stress. They grow very short and with tight nodes. 2 are growing shorter than the others but should hopefully open up when I flip. I'm planning on flipping the girls this week as summer is coming and I'd like to get the tents emptied. The 2 larger plants are ready but the smaller ones maybe a little limited in their yield. I'm still very excited to see how they turn out :)

Hi everyone! This week has been nice and easy. I've started the girls on their week one of flower food and I've flipped them into flower. So far they are looking fantastic. I will be giving them a good defoliation this week and will lollipop them to increase air flow and bud sights ready for flipping. The old school genetics have so far been the most resistant and hardy and have really showed no sign of issues at all. If anything they are growing too bushy haha. Hi everyone! This week has been a very busy one. All the girls got a much needed haircut and training. I also lollipoped them all. They are starting to develop their bud sites and showing a bit of stretch so it was definitely needed. I've started introducing a small amount of PK boost to the mix and the girls are just looking amazing. No issues at all on the leaves and the colour has returned fully and they are growing vigorously. I can't wait to see how they are at harvest hehe. Hi everyone! A nice and easy week this week. Gave the girls a light defoliation but nothing major. Will do a final strip this week to help clean them up ready for mid flower. The genetics of course have been stars since the beginning. They have handled everything I've thrown at them and they are thriving now. Hi everyone! Had a bit of a disaster this week. One of the larger bubba kush had gone full Hermie. Every branch was developing Nana's. After this I realised the inside of one of the duct ports was open inside the tent and had been allowing daylight onto this plant which was directly next to the port. Fortunately only one plant was affected in the tent and I think/hope I caught the issue early enough to not have any worries. Anyway onward and upwards! :) I have given all the girls their week 4 defoliation, this will be the last major defoliation and should keep the girls open and buds all getting airflow and light until harvest in 5 weeks. I've started to gradually increase the PK and will be reducing the nitrogen over the coming weeks. The girls have been really developing well since flipping, not much stretch but a nice strong plant to build lots of buds on. Hi everyone! Another unfortunate week :( I had to take out a 2nd bubba kush lady because she had hermied in a bad way. Again caught early so hopefully no issues with the rest of the tent but very disappointed to have another hermie this close to harvest. Onwards and upwards though! The 2 girls I have left are doing great! They are growing very strong and stacking the buds up wonderfully. The smaller plant has perfect node spacing and if the buds connect could be a full plant of bud hehe. The larger is more open but will be a great yielder. The Hermies are very upsetting and will mean I have to mark these down at the end. A shame really as I was hoping to show how the old school strains are stable and have great medicinal value. Hey everyone! This week has been a lot less eventful thankfully! No more Hermies from the 2 remaining ladies and they have started to pack on some weight and get frosty :) I have increased the PK while decreasing the hybrid from the green house Feeding nutrients. The treatment from last weeks booster seems to be visible and the girls are very healthy and happy.
