Only 1 of 4 seeds herniated which is disappointing. Was hoping for 3. Grow two and keep one as a mother. So now I'm soaking the free seed which is Barney's Farm Peyote Critical.
Bit of super cropping on day one of week eight. Still very short, stumpy and strong so it was a little tricky. Fairly sure she's got a beast of a root system!
Topped twice and super cropped twice. Would really like to defoliate the undergrowth a bit but she's so dense I really can't see what I'm doing so I'll have to wait until I flip and she stretches a bit. Originally planned to have three plants but am happy to take a bit longer on the one and see just how much I can get after a long and healthy veg cycle.
Didn't stretch as much as she might have done which suits me. On target for plenty of
compact buds. Taking the Shogun coco nutrient range like a champ. Only issue I've had is having to defoliate more times than I'd like.
Most co-operative plant I've grown . Coco is the way forward, loving the Shogun nutrient range and fully recommend quantum board LED's if the budget stretches.
Coming along nicely. 2-3 weeks left I reckon. First issue is a bit of foxtailing so I've dimmed the lights a touch and we'll see if it persists. Interesting smell off this one. Musty mango is how I'd describe it.
Good day time stuff actually, as I had to harvest a bit early. All round pleasurable grow. Recommend lowering the humidity significantly during the last couple weeks. I lowered an acceptable amount but it wasn't enough and having to chop down 4 colas was heartbreaking. Still pleased with the grow, smoke and yield.
Had defoliated a few times in the last half of the grow so not too much to do during harvest. Caught the bud rot early so it didn't trouble me through drying. Passed the 'snap test' in 11 days of hanging in 60% ending with 48% humidity in 19°C.
Looking hella tasty man !! and @drredrizzy420 usually when people "flip" it means they are changing the light schedual from a veg cycle to a flower cycle :)
@Pigeonfeed01, Thought I replied but can't seem to see it. Well it was actually another fella who was recommended to me by other growers. After a few emails he knew what I wanted and a few days later, it arrived.
@Pigeonfeed01, It's actually done by a fella recommend to me by a couple other growers. After a few emails, he knew what I wanted and three days later I had it. Comparitively good price too.
Nice, Quantum Boards! I have a 200w diy COB fixture which I use in combo with my HPS. I'm loving the next gen LED technology and will be replacing all my light to COBs after this grow. Nice looking plant, very bushy, might want to do some more aggresive defoliation to encourage even more branching so you have a bed of pure flowers baking under those sweet lights. Good luck!
@sevengreenfingers, Thanks! Yeah, they're not cheap but well worth it. The proof will be in the pudding! It's a fairly even 3x2ft canopy of bud sites if seen from above but I will do one last defoliation in a week or so. Thanks again.
stretch her branches sideways....................use strings or something.....................then she wont grow tall...................and twice or more buds..........................shes bushy
@@grzesiek, Yeah she's been topped twice and super cropped so very bushy indeed. I'll wait until a bit of stretch, defoliate lower branches and tie down any that start reaching. Unfortunately I can't scrog in that room so I have to do it the harder way.
@@grzesiek, Not too sure. I've got loads stacked up from this year's outdoor grow which gives me time to play around but not necessarily the space. Keeping it low as possible and she's looking rather Indica so I could do another couple weeks but impatience will probably win and I'll flip in a week!
