Mixed my soil, added the seeds. Now we wait and hope for the best 💪🏼 Just water when dry for next 30 - 45 days
March 15 - My first germinated seed popped. Cookies Gelato has arrived. After this I’ll do water cup and HP method. 4 days seemed so long and I was worried about duds. Hopefully Blue Cheese isn’t far behind going into day 5 of germination.
March 16 - Blue Cheese popped last night. Going to give a few ML of water and a single mist before I turn the light off. 18/6 schedule
Looks as good as a seedling can I suppose. 100 ML water today and that’s it. Water when dry in a few days.
March 21 - chugging along quite nicely. Not like much can go wrong anyways right now.
March 23 - Last day of this week. Made a compost tea using black strap organic, unsulfered molasses. Followed by a tea bag of worm castings, bat guano, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, mykos, and added to the water was silica. Brewed for 24 hours maybe little more. Will post recipe I used if it works out hahaha
March 24 - 9 days from germination. Making counting the weeks awkward. But this is a count from seed to harvest! They had a compost tea yesterday night and then a foliage spray as well before the lights off. 18-6 cycle all grow.
March 29 - 14 days since germination. Looks great, Gelato cookies growing faster than the Blue Cheese, even knowing it’s a day ahead. I have a few guesses as to why, but it’s not a problem. Color is good, temp and humidity have been adjusted as needed. Closet is much harder to regulate than a tent, but I’m up for the challenge.
Looks great, good color. Haven’t watered since the compost tea about a week ago. And she finally looks ready for a tall glass of water. Tomorrow I will water with plain, PHed water. Also this week I’ll start using LST to start forming that bushy plant I’m picturing
April 3 - So about 2 days ago I seen pistols starting to form. This is definitely not what I had hoped for with this auto, but you don’t always get lucky with the veg period in autos. But we take it in stride. Everything looks good as far as I can tell. And the small size isn’t something I’m used to but I’ll do my best to maximize the yield with what I’ve got. Blue Cheese is still in veg and is slowly becoming my favorite in this closet grow 😂
I noticed this girl was forming pistols and so, here we go to flower. I definitely was hoping for at least another week of veg but it is what it is. Plants growing how it grows and that’s all you can do. I don’t expect a large yield here obviously, but I do expect a high quality bud. Plucked a few fan leaves to try and get this thing evened out a bit quicker. I’ve only tucked leaves up to this point. Top dressed a few things, and brewing another compost tea as I type this. Hoping this time it gives her the boost she needs to really take off before we get to harvest.
April 7 - Growing hard, gave a compost tea last night so excited to see how much more vigorous these plants will grow!
Really taking off here over the last week. Been some issues with heat last few days, weather outside making it hard to mitigate temperatures and vent. But, iv managed a few solutions to keep it under 80 mostly. Still a couple taco leaves some days, but working with what I got. In an ideal situation I fully understand how to keep temps down, but this is a closet grow. And I’m making do with what I know and what I have.
Smell coming from the plant is lovely. Nothing too crazy but it smells good. Not defoliating too much, just picking out leaves that cover bud sites. The node spacing is lovely and the buds stacking is going fast!
Trikes are going crazy this week! Buds stacking nicely, smell is lovely. No issues, just lowered the light closer for more intensity and it’s been great. If you see this drop a comment for me

Buds continue to mature. More orange pistols and stacking trichomes everyday. Smell is skunk with hints of citrus. When you touch the buds, the smell is more citrus than skunk. Regardless, it’s wonderful!
Finally got an AC unit in the room, and temp is sitting perfect 72.
Not sure how long I got left on it but letting the plant tell me when it’s time. Flushing probably could have started already but I’m going to this week and go from there.
@Microgrow2020, he’ll yeah I’ll look for the pictures man, you got beautiful color in the buds though. I went for more of a small bush I wish I had a set up like you got. 10 weeks sounds about right though man! Love to see it
@CanuckTaughtMe, ye and no. There's no weight in the flowers yet. I think they'll need to go to 10 weeks. I'll be gutted if it ends up all fluffy. I'm going to do heavy defoliation of the top canopy tomorrow.
