ready for a new session 🙂
This time, I'm going with Ganja Farmer and two of their strains, Mandarine XL and Strawberry Cake (each will have its own diary)
easy, fast germination and 100% success 👌
the 3 mandarine go in my big tent (120x60x180, autopots, coco, 14L, 3x LED 150w) and the 3 strawberry go in my small tent (60x60x160, classic pots, soil, 11L, 2x LED 100w)
see you soon for the suite ✌️
good start for my 3 girls 🙂
watering 1 litre of water with 1ml of power roots every 3 days, the soil has been kept moist without excess, which has clearly benefited the development of the roots;
they are still very young seedlings, but their development is satisfactory and harmonious between the 3
I will not fertilize before flowering, I think the plagron all mix will be enough until then.
something tells me that this grow will be fast 👌
these strawberries continue to amaze me:
after a flawless germination and a harmonious development of the 3, they seem to like the soil, even though it is not very aerated, and spread their leaves quickly ✌️
still no fertilizer this week; their colour seems to clearly indicate that they don't need it 🌳
the girls are vigorous; after 3 weeks, they are all ready for "pseudo mainlining", a kind of watered-down mainlining for autoflo involving only one topping, a little lollipopping and a lot of LST :
When the 4th node develops, I cut and keep only nodes 2 and 3, stretching the remaining 4 branches horizontally in a cross shape.
The aim is to obtain 4 large, dense and easy to manicure colas.
Over the next 10-15 days, I will cut off any side branches until the colas are far enough away from the trunk to let them grow upwards.
In general, the transition to flowering takes place at this time.
people often hesitate to do HST on autoflowers; my little experience allows me to guarantee that this single cut has never delayed my harvests, nor diminished the quantity and quality ✌️
the mainlining continues
I continue to remove the side branches and spread the colas horizontally; the crosses are just over 20cm tall, I will be able to let them start to climb in the next 10 days, when they will show their first pistils
I'm waiting for this moment to start the Terra Bloom; the all mix seems to be rich enough to guarantee the growth of my girls until their flowering
I have finished with my girls' sculpture work 👌
they all 3 have the cross shape I was looking for, they resisted well to the lollipopping and are now starting to run towards the light
flowering has started, 1st stage; from next week I will start to include bloom fertilizer in small doses
everything is going well 👌
the beginning of terra bloom, a little lollipopping in the middle of the week, that's all the work the girls ask of me
they drink a lot, the stretch is demanding for 11 litre pots, that said the quick dry/wet alternation seems beneficial
the canopy remains uniform, for the moment 😉
Everything is going well: growth is coming to an end, flowering is progressing, no signs of deficiency.
The "latecomer" is back in the race, she will probably need another week to finish but I am convinced that she will be the most productive
they will soon be cramped in their 0.36m²... 😉
a new week where everything goes well 🙂
I'm really happy with these Strawberries: they can cope with a small space, with a relative light power, they don't show any deficiency since their growth.
they have surprisingly a little different development, with 7/10 days "gap" between the most and the least advanced, with sizes from simple to double; but it is a pleasant session that they offer me
last week for 2 of them; small size but nice nuggets, which will be easy to cure 👌
the 3rd one will need 7-10 days more, but I expect more of her
hoping for a good surprise on the scale 🤞
a modest session, but one that allowed me to reflect on my fertiliser programme and my HST on autos, especially with such a short vegetation period.
the results were modest, somewhat compensated for by the speed of the strain (the first one took 9 weeks from seed to harvest!);
but I'd still rather wait another 3 or 4 weeks and get a bigger yield.
What's certain is that if I start again with seeds like these, I'll abandon the HST and settle for the LST.
