The second one

Dr_Rook First week of life for my pineapples. They've already been moved to their final pot (3 liters), now just waiting for them to get through the stress and start growing.

Dr_Rook All good. This week I gave them their first preventive and a bit of food. The weather is very dry outside, and I'm having a hard time keeping the humidity high. Let's see how they progress this coming week; they're growing day by day.

Dr_Rook There go the pineapples on their way..🍍🛣️ It's already the third week and I see they're growing very slowly. I understand it's due to the lack of watts, because the conditions are good and I've given them very little food. Let's see how this week goes, because I'm eager to switch them to flowering. 😅

Dr_Rook Everything is good this week; they're still growing slowly due to the lack of light power, but I really like the structure they're developing. I hope that in the next few days you can switch it to 12/12.

Dr_Rook The pineapples are already ready to go into flowering. They have been in the dark for 48 hours and today they will enter flowering. I removed the first node from all of them.

Dr_Rook Something is going wrong with my buds; when I changed the cycle and they started stretching, it seems they suffered from a deficiency. I would say iron, but I'm not sure. Yesterday I watered them with a deficiency corrector; I hope they improve soon because they're at a crucial stage. I've also moved them closer to the lamp since at first I thought they were getting burned by the light. The extreme heat, which is not usual for this season, isn't helping either. Time to turn the situation around 💪

Dr_Rook There has been some imbalance with the nutrition, and the older leaves of some have wilted. This week I've only given them enzymes to clean the excess salts and correct the imbalance. I think they will stop stretching this week; let's see how they progress.

Dr_Rook There's still a nutritional imbalance that I can't seem to fix. The top buds look good, but the ones at the bottom aren't as vigorous. This week I did feed them, and it seems to have done them good. Let's see how they progress.

Dr_Rook I'm posting with almost a week of delay. They've suffered a serious nutrient deficiency since one of the liquids was in bad condition and wasn't providing anything. They've lost a large part of the older leaves, as they've been feeding off them due to the deficiency. This will likely affect the final yield. Let's see how they progress.

Dr_Rook Just like the first time, it turned out really really well, I have to admit that this second time it's going badly 😅 The buds haven't formed well at all, due to some nutritional imbalance that I couldn't fix in time, plus they've been quite hot and everything has piled up. All for the sake of continuing to learn 💪

Dr_Rook It seems like the last waterings with plenty of food are doing them good. They're not very big, but they are tightening up and resinous. Let's see if after such a hectic flowering stage, at least something decent comes out 😅

Dr_Rook In the end, they are finishing flowering well; those buds look heavy and dense. There are three that have stayed smaller because they had growth issues. They are withstanding extreme temperatures of up to 34 degrees; I'll keep my fingers crossed that I don't get spider mites. I've been gradually lowering the EC from a peak of 1.8 to 1.5 and then to 1.2, and today I'll do the root wash, and now I just have to wait for them to finish in a week or so, I think.

Dr_Rook Well, I don't know why, but they're taking a long time. I'm going to cut them in the next few days even though they haven't fully matured yet. The next few days are going to be extremely hot in my area, and I don't want to risk them dying on me. I'm definitely not growing again starting in April without air conditioning. This time much less, but I hope at least it's good quality.

Dr_Rook Their time is coming. They are enduring extreme temperatures and have handled it very well. Now what worries me is drying them in these conditions of high temperatures and low humidity, let's see how I manage..

Dr_Rook In this second grow, I haven't had enough time and energy for them. I've had several issues with feeding, I've kept them short during the crucial stage like the stretch after the cycle change. I just hope it has helped me learn for future grows.
