Was doing a double strain diary and changed my mind. Growing right next to my Cookies Gelato from RQS. Planted M1123 and popped M1623.

Meh. Seedlings am I right? Anyways, temps jumping between 79-83 during the day. Trying to regulate it better. Night time been smooth. March 21 - 10 days from seed and the plants are chillin March 23 - Last day of this week. Made a compost tea using black strap organic, unsulfered molasses. Followed by a tea bag of worm castings, bat guano, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, mykos, and added to the water was silica. Brewed for 24 hours maybe little more. Will post recipe I used if it works out hahaha

March 24 - 9 days from germination. Making counting the weeks awkward. But this is a count from seed to harvest! They had a compost tea yesterday night and then a foliage spray as well before the lights off. 18-6 cycle all grow. March 29 - Benjamin is growing, I’d personally like to see more growth, but to be fair this is a different strain than the one next to it, which is my only comparison. Still, on all accounts a good looking plant. Keep it up Benji

Hope Benji catches up on growth this week. Steady but slower than I would like. Its counter part, Gelato Cookies, is probably 2 inches taller with more nodes. Going to try a few things after I water them, I’ll note them if I do. April 3 - Well thank the heavens! Still in veg and haven’t seen a sign of a pistol. Happy to have still growing and doing some LST methods to get the lower growth going. Considering topping this, as I have topped autos before. But with the speed at which it’s counterpart has flipped to flower, I’m hesitant to try it with these. Top dressed with kelp, bat guano, worm castings, alfalfa. Every watering has Silica in it as well. Cheers Benjamin!

April 7 - gave compost tea. Hope that helps if the leaves are from deficiency. Think I’m raising the light today incase it’s too intense. Pretty tight node spacing so I could use some stretch April 9 - Well I asked a question about what’s going on with this plant. And what I thought was going on, probably is. The leaves are so dark green, which could be nitrogen toxicity. If treated both plants exactly the same, differences being strain. This one has been far more sensitive to nitrogen. Only added things to this grow have been teas. Which, someone said they don’t know why I’m using teas for coco, since it’s hydro. Doesn’t mean you can’t build microbes inside the medium. The plant next to this looks lovely in color and height. I’m going to cut out Silica from watering, as it’s basic as hell. And then water to run off about 10-20%. Just regular PH water. Hopefully we can run out some of this nitrogen issue if it doesn’t resolve itself from the tea by the next watering.

Your coco ph is off. It is likely too low based on looks. This is from feed being too strong or not enough run off. Coco is not a soil. So not sure why you are using teas on it. Coco is Hydro in a potter. Which is far more efficient then living soil. I believe you are treating your coco wrong, and the plant can not absorb nutrients right. I been growing in coco for years. You likely need to shift gears on how your treating this grow to save it. She has a ton of nitrogen in her system. Borderline toxicity. Which if not fixed by flowering it will hinder bud development.

Dealing with some nitrogen toxicity possibly. Dark green leaves and nearly stunted growth. No burns but I’m working to get her back on track. Maybe an issue in ph.

So if you can’t tell, I topped this girl a while back. Usually people have mixed feelings for autos but iv had success in the past. She’s finally in flower, and I adjusted the ph of the coco. I stopped adding silica last 2 weeks because it was causing coco to be too basic. Low stress training and selective defoliation

Well life has been good for this plant, past the high nitrogen, and settling into flower. This plant ready to be here several weeks after the Cookies Gelato. I topped over a month ago, low stress training to even out the lighting in the lower canopy as well as defoliating to get more air flow and energy pushed to the tops of these bud sites. The goal has been to keep these plants short and bushy as I can to use the most out of my space. And I think that’s gone well.

She’s really booming right now, I’m waiting to do any more defoliation. Just tucking here and there right now. Lowered the light for a boosted intensity since I’m not really working with the best lights

Top dressed early this week, this plant is really running a long one. I was hoping to ride the auto without doing so, but it will be worth it. Blue Benji is going to give me many many big buds

Shot up real close to the light had to raise it up some. Think run off needs to happen more but she’s drinking over a gallon almost every other day😅
