Germination soaking in a glass of water, the usual method. Then, straight to the final medium. Out of 10 seeds, 8 made it to the seedling stage. The nature has its own ways, I guess. Still, not bad.
So far, so good! Excited about the purple strain, let's see when it shows its colors. Using standard methods
Germinated in a glass of water and transferred straight to the final medium to avoid unnecessary stress on the girls.
Second week, vegetation. So far, so good. Probably the most rewarding part of the cycle since you can see the changes almost every day. Not applying training techniques or other stress factors, also it looks good enough even without any extra like this.
Not bad at all! Strong and bushy. Can't go wrong with Plagron, also I like the plants' structure. Not too big, not too bushy, doesn't require crazy vertical space or extra training: looks easy to manage.
Flowering kicks in! First calyxes. Looking forward to the full-blown bloom phase, wanna see them flowers. Plagron for extra food to help them out; Terpinator to help those gals show off their full terpene potential.
That went wrong reeeally fast: instead of flowers I see nanners! Tried to clip them off, hoping it was just some sort of one-time stress reaction, but they're growing back again, in even bigger amounts! I gave them a couple days to see what exactly is going on, clipping those off, but no luck. I will have to discard this whole cycle; can't risk further contamination and can't waste my time or resources on hermies. Too bad... that was promising...
I don't know what to say about such a grow cycle that gave me all hermies. Probably not all of them were hermies at start, but I missed the moment when a few plants that grew nanners contaminated the rest of the tent? I kept clipping off the nanners I was finding, but as you can observe on the pics, they were appearing again and again, in even bigger amounts. And here we go. I couldn't get ANY results from 8 plants.
It was all good during the vegetative stage tho. The plants responded well to the grow setup and conditions, and then out of the blue I get that "surprise". Dunno. Curiosity killed the cat I guess, shouldn't have trusted a noname label/"brand" that's been on the market for less than a couple of years.... Never seen something like this, NEVER.
Gonna have to do a deep cleanse of my grow space now. Don't wanna drag the consequences of this bad experience to the next grow cycles...
Maybe will try to contact them, idk. This is nonsense.
I am definitely not happy with this run. Never had such a disastrous grow. I have my go-to methods that never fail, but here... I'm IMPRESSED with how bad this one turned out to be. Time wasted, products wasted, resources as well... It all translates into wasted time and money. Don't like it, definitely won't recommend it.
