Much better weather this week, sunny 6/7 days and the plants really responded.
Leaf hoppers are still a bit of an issue, I have neem but I haven't figured out the mix yet so I haven't sprayed. Plants most affected are still Forgotten Strawberries (got topped by the leaf hoppers, bouncing back pretty well now though), Animal Mints (trash genetics didn't expect much anyway) and AK47 (powering through even with heavy damage).
Everything else has put on significant size in the last week. No signs of preflower yet which is unusual for a lot of these strains, but I'm guessing everything is a week or two behind due to the cold & poor light the first couple weeks. It'll be interesting to see how long these autos end up going.
Obviously the Mango 1:1 is not a concern as a photo. It was topped at the 5th node today and had its side nodes removed as well. Planning to mainline this one since it has 6 months of growth ahead and I want it as efficient as possible. This is my favourite strain and I have no space for a mother, so I may attempt to create some S1 seeds when there are more stems to work with. Just a cheap bottle of STS from amazon will hopefully do the job. 12/12 should be no problem as my 2x2 tent is sitting empty after the Grappa/24 Carat run which is now 100% completed and in jars.
Grab a bottle of bbg (bug b gon) and spray the living shit out of your location before those buds get any bigger or devolope anymore then they are mate! You won't regret it and it should take care of any issues you may have !!!! Goodluck happy growing. Excited to see this one through I will be following
@@Billyandbarb, totally forgot to mention it but everything got sprayed with neem & BT this week for pest control. Haven't seen any caterpillars and there aren't many signs of leaf hoppers anymore but I have seen a bit of leaf miner activity. Plants seem to not mind the minor bits of damage here or there.
@CalyxHunter, DE could work in theory, but having to reapply every time I water makes it a giant pain, especially since I have all my vegetables in here as well. Ladybugs won't touch leafhoppers either. My best bet is to get some mantises in here (two types live in my garden already) but it's hard keeping them confined when the greenhouse doors are open during the day and only close in the evenings.
