So it's happened the big chop! After almost 4 months from seed. It's certainly been a journey to remember, with many a few learning curves too. That said I found the lemon zkittlez was a good strain the grow as my first. They just always looked well. In my opinion this strain is a must for newbies like myself. Resilient to say the least I've had trouble with temps high and low, humidity and fans breaking. The lemon just kept on going with a little slow growth just before I switched from 250w metal halide to 600w dual spectrum hps. Smells amazing, big solid buds covered in frost. After nearly 2 weeks drying and curing I've smoked a fair bit, the flavours are really starting to set in. It's delicious a sweet citrusy Moorish taste and not a heavy couch lock high which is great . The buds are solid balls of frost with sticky centres of citrus heaven.

Great base products. I've not used any other canna products other than A&B and pk13/14 both seem to do they're job.
Excellent product range. The bigbud coco was my favourite as I seen more impact while using this and bud growth seemed to accelerate.

Harvested after 4 days without feeding and took me and a friend 6 hours to cut, trim and hang 4 plants. After 4 days hanging, the buds are feeling nice and solid and look really frosty. I've taken a sample bud to smoke and the lemon is coming through already. Going to hang for few more days and try again before jaring 00000

When is the best time to start topping/fimming when growing the scrog method, I feel I top the first time a little late?

Usually around 3 or 4 weeks from sprout , you don't want to top too early but you can always stay longer in veg and top multiple times... check out this technique called fluxing, combining multiple toppings and training over just 5/6 weeks from sprout !

Hi she's lookin very nice... What u been keeping ur EC and pH levels at if u don't mind me asking?
cocotastrophe
cocotastrophe
@Dani86, I'll certainly be monitoring the EC next time. I'll probably do the same with a few tweaks like topping a little sooner as I waited for the 6th full node before topping rather than the 1st true 5 leave which would be better suited to the scrog method. But for my 1st ever grow I'm happy to get what I get and have truly enjoyed learning about the plants needs.

@cocotastrophe, well what ever it is Ur doing she's clearly happy yeah if I would you do exacly what UV done this time o my monitor that way you will know for sure what she does and doesn't like, mine personally at 1 week wouldn't come alive to pH at 5.8 iv had to raise my phone to 6.2 in Coco also and feeding at 1.0 EC takin into account my tapwater is 0.6 so in essence it's 0.4 food... It's good to know then you can test around to see how they react yeild wise ect good luck buddy

cocotastrophe
@Dani86,to be brutally honest I haven't done anything to maintain pH but regularly check and it been between 5.5_6.7 depending on stage. EC I haven't monitored it's something I'll be doing on the next one though πŸ‘Œ
